Cannot find the probobly easy..!

well, I am trying to add a user and cannot seem to get to where I do that.. I know it is on here as this was once my sons laptop. now mine , and I added me then.
also I put me as administrator back yhen. I never have problems wioth most stuff, as I have it set to ask me for password before downloading,, but as I was surfing around looking for the user thing, I clicked on something in the User folder and it said I do not have access

BTW some files don't allow you to open them as they are system files (owned by root)

the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."
I dismiss the dialog and Workshop will continue showing a progress bar and I have
to cancel it.
Looks like a standard path problem. Is anyone else getting this out of the box?
Should Workshop.cmd be setting up the path to the sample workshop WLS? An easy
workaround is to start the server manually outside of Workshop.

Actually, Peter and all,
No need to send me the files listed below as I woke up after re-reading your
post. There is an issue we are tracking down with regards to what Mike
Wooten said on an earlier post and those people running on Windows NT4.x
only, seems the start command changed somewhat for the better in Win2K.
If you ARE running on Windows 2000 and you are still seeing the problems
outlined below, please reply back with the files attached and we will get
someone on looking at your issue.
Since this beta is targeted at Win2K and Solaris only, the solution will
have to be starting it from the start menu which you have mentioned
previously. We are tracking this as an issue from beta and will probably
support NT4 for the GA.

Linksys EA6700, "Cannot find the DHCP server"

Hello all
I have a Linksys EA6700 router that has given me problems the three months I've had it.
Typically I get the message "Cannot find the DHCP server" or no message at all. I have everything from three to eight PC's, SqueezeBoxes, Blu-ray players etc hooked up to it.
Very often one or several of these cannot find the server.
Is there an easy solution to this problem?
Any help appreciated!

You can set static ip information on wireless devices that don't connect to other wireless networks.
Use software like "Wifi Analyzer" for andriod or "inSSIDer" for PC.
Make sure your wireless signals channels don't overlap with other strong wireless signals and space your wireless channels at least 3 or more channels apart.

Load report Failed, COMExpection: System cannot find the path specified

Interesting problem:
I have an application that runs on a web server (currently running it as simple test application to make solving this easier). We use a BO XI report to load data from the DB via a stored proc, then run an ExportToStream to get CSV data to return to the caller.
It all works well as long as I run the application under the NT Account logged into the Box (W2k3, R2). But when using a different account (it's a domain admin account), it fails with the following error:
System.Exception: Load report Failed. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005): The system cannot find the path specified.
at CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClienDoc.ReportClientDocumentClass.Open(Object& DocumentPath, Int32 Options)
at CyrstalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument.Load(String filename, OpenReportMethod openMethod).
The report is located on a file drive the openMethod is OpenReportByTempCopy. The Temp directory for the user (landes) exists on the box, all things seem to be in place.
Anybody know that path is specified and how to overcome this?

Will it be possible to check this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACINE\SOFTWARE\Suite 11or11.5\Report Application Server\InprocServer\LocalConnectionMgr and verify if the ConnectionDirectoryPath is set to something like C:\ ?
If not, set to C:\ and see how it goes after running your app.

ORA-27369: The system cannot find the file specified.

I am trying to run a job in DBMS_Scheduler in 10.2.0.2 and i am getting the following error:
ORA-27369: job of type EXECUTABLE failed with exit code: The system cannot find the file specified.
I am trying to have it execute an external .bat file. The .bat file works fine if i execute it manually. (This is MS Server 2003)
I created the same job in another instance and it runs fine. I took the same files directory copied it to another server (all file permissions are the same on both servers) and took the creation scripts for the job and ran them in the new database and i am getting this error when i try to run the job. There is very little information for this specific error. In the two databases all the permissions are the same for the user and the scripts all executed successfully.
Any ideas on what is casuing this error.
I am not sure if its Oracle thats having the problem or if Windows is somehow holding it up.
(PS. I have permissions in the local security policy to allow 'Log on as Batch job' in both servers)

A couple things.
- Is the Job Scheduler service up and running and set to run as the right user ? If everything else is the same than maybe the service is only up on one instance ?
- You should be calling "cmd.exe /c script.bat " and not the batch file directly. Beware that cmd.exe may be in different places in different versions of windows and you should always fill in the full path for both cmd.exe and script.bat. This could be causing the "file not found" issue.
- Does a simple external job work ? It can be easier to get a simple external job working first e.g. ipconfig.exe or echo.exe.

I click a URL, General Failure, the system cannot find the file specified, then the site comes up.

If there is a URL on a site to go to for more information. When I click to go there, a window comes up with: General Failure, (repeats the site address) and says - The system cannot find the file specified.
Then the address I clicked on comes up after that window.

I tried opening Firefox before clicking on links in e-mail. and it works without that General Failure popping up.
Why should I need to open Firefox before my e-mail to stop a very annoying process? I never had this problem until I upgraded to Firefox 4.
Boy how I wish I could go back to the old Firefox because it was so much easier to use. Sometimes progress is not good!!!
I hope there is something that can be done to correct this problem.

Cannot find the field for the Contact Role in Contact object.

I need to set Contact Role when creating new Account and Contact. I tried the following tests but cannot figure it out:
1. Create new Account and then new Contact, set the AccountContactRole in Account WSDL as “Main” but failed to set that field in form
2. Create new Account and then new Contact, set the ContactRole in Contact WSDL as "Main” but failed to set that field in form
3. Create new Contact and then new Account, set those two fields, but failed to set that field in form
So far I know, the Account Contact Role is kind of picklist type in Account Contact Field. I could find its customization in Admin-> Application Customization -> Account -> Account Contact Fields -> Contact Roles. However, I cannot find the exact item in WSDL file to map this item. The AccountContactRole in Account WSDL and ContactRole in Contact WSDL are suspicious.
It will be appreciated if anyone could help me on this issue.

Hi, Sean, I tried the Web Service 1.0 call to create a new Contact and then a new Account with created Contact ID. But the CRMOD return the "Access Deny" fault. Is there somewhere I could see or change this kind of access rights? Or some bug in my web service call?

You cannot use .mac or MobileMe as type of Account, you have to choose IMAP when setting up, otherwise Mail is hard coded to change imap.mail.me.com to mail.me.com & smtp.mail.me.com to smtp.me.com, no matter what you try to enter.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
          •          Server name: imap.mail.me.com
          •          SSL Required: Yes
          •          Port: 993
          •          Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
          •          Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
          •          Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
          •          SSL Required: Yes
          •          Port: 587
          •          SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
          •          Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
          •          Password: Your iCloud password
Also, you must upgrade your password to meet the new criteria: 8 characters, including upper and lower case and numbers. If you have an older password that does not meet these criteria, when you try to setup mail on your mac, using all of the IMAP criteria listed above, it will still give a server error message. Go to   http://appleid.apple.com         then follow directions to change your password, then go back to setting up your mail using the IMAP instructions above.

Your support page says it does not install Acrobat and I have to look in the Extensions folder for an MSI file. Also I now administer the teams and have accepted the invitation to I received to be a team member and download the apps. The admin page shows that I have been sent an invitation but does not show my account as "ACtive" unlike my other team members. I tried to use the link in the invite to accept it become active but the link displayed an error saying I had already accepted the invite... why is no account not active?
Finally what other product downloads in Creative Cloud do not actually download as part of the Creative cloud Packager for downloading the apps? e.g. acrobat and what else?

I am confused. Do you mean you found the music, not the tones, or you can't find either?
If the former, then this is normal. You can't redownload tones from the Cloud.
