Cannot get a particular account to authenticate

Hi,
I've been struggling with CPS for a couple of weeks. Because
we bought it, so now I gotta make it work.
I've configured CPS to authenticate against our ADS. The
authentication method is "Windows domain". When I use "Test
Search", it returns all users and groups without a problem. When
use "Test authentication", I get the error message "SessionManager.
authenticateUser failed".
Now here's the catch: I couldn't get to test the
authentication with my account so I tested another account and it
worked ok! So I made a copy of my account and it worked too! So I
deleted my original account and started using the new one.
Everything worked fine for about a week. Now today I got the same
problem and same error message. I tried several other accounts and
they ALL worked. I made a copy of my account (through
"administration tools -> active directory users and computers")
and it also works (with the same password as my original account!).
Now I am not gonna switch accounts every week!
I am totally desperate and need to have this )*&!/$ to
work really soon.

Ok now it's getting worse. I tried to uninstall CPS 1.11 and
install version 1.01 as, in fact, we are required to use french
softwares when it's available. CPS 1.11 is only available in
english at this point...
Now the "user search" screen in version 1.01 is total crap, I
really don't know who translated this thing but Macromediocre
should be ashamed of this...
I've entered basically the same informations as I did with
1.11 (only this time, there's no menu, it's only text fields) and
now can't perform a search on our ADS.
Did anyone got CPS 1.01 to work with ADS? The domain server
is running Win 2003.
I mean we bought like 10 licences which adds up to about
1200$ CDN. Now I'm starting to wonder if this piece of... is worth
that much money.

I am going to asume that you have a MBP 13" Mid 2012 as you have in your profile.
First check if you computer is updateing the spotlight. Second. Make sure the Icloud acount is activated. (using your apple id and password). Once that is working, and all of these are made, repair permitions and wait be sure all programs are close. Reset the computer.
Once that is done. Go to system preferences, Select Security and Privacy. Then select privacy and see if maps is seleccted in location services. In order to change that unlock the lock and add the password fom you computer.
If that is check, we can see what we can do next. Also make sure that diagnostic & usage is selected, so all these info be send to apple for making these better.
One step at a time.
I work 2 instalacion. One clean install and 1 upgrade. The clean isntall has being perfect so far. I only find 2 errors so far and i am working on those right now.

Cannot get mail. Account in use on another device

AAll at once I receive the error message " cannot get mail. Account in use on another device" do you know how this can be as I have turned off all other devices that could have the account open.

Just to be sure, change the password to your E-Mail account. After a few days you can change it back if the problem doesn't go away.

Here are two steps that have come in handy in related situations
1) login to gmail on your computer or device via a web browser
2) once logged in successfully, go to this URL to unlock:

Re iPhone 5: Since IOS 8 8.0.2 update, I cannot get email from 1 of the 2 email accounts (which is from the same internet provider). They use the same imap and smtp ports. Is that a problem? Or is it IOS? No problems previously. I can get both emails on iPad and Mac Air.

A lot of people have been unable to access Yahoo e-mail on their iPhones or iPads. My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

Firefox is BLOCKING Gmail due to securtiy certificate! HELP?? Cannot get my email accounts!!

I just purchased a new Dell laptop with Windows 7 Pro. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox.
I have several very important Gmail accounts but Firefox will NOT allow me access to any Gmail items! There is not even the option to ignore the warning that the security certificate is invalid. I CANNOT get to any Gmail account.
The computer I am replacing also has the latest version of Firefox but it allows access to all my Gmail accounts. The only reason that I am replacing the computer is because Microsoft has stopped supporting XP and all my normal software vendors will no longer support me; so I am forced to change.
One suggestion in Firefox is to go to the Profile file and delete "cert8" and then let Firefox recreate it. THAT DOES NOT WORK with my problem.
Please, can someone help. I have a business to run and I have all day on this issue.

Firefox reports that Google's Gmail has an invalid certificate! No other program does this. In fact, it does not do this on my other computer running the same software. Internet Explorer connects without a problem.
Deleting "cert8" file from Firefox's profile does not seem to work either. What I mean by "seem" is that it might work for a couple of loads then it blocks it again.

Cannot get exchange mail account to work

I am a very persistent person. I don't give up easily. But I just can't get my exchange account to work on iphone. After trying way too many times, I've tried to get it set it up on the Apple Mail program so that I can then sync the mail account to the iphone through itunes. I've only been able to get the incoming mail working on Mail. I've tried so many different permutations and combinations, but I cannot get the outgoing mail to work.
I know that imap is set up. And I can access my mail account through Entourage... perfectly.
Why can't I get it to work on Mail???? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated? Any settings to check on the exchange server so that I can get it to set up properly. Please. I am about at my wit's end. And I won't give up!!!!

TS3276 i just cannot get my email account to go online

I have tried everything i can think of and have seen online but nothing seems to work. My email says im offline and when i try to reconnect nothiong happens
I do not have any network/connectivity issues, i can get internet without a problem
I have checked the port settings - they are as should be
When i go into the email settings my incoming mail server looks correct, however no password is present, if i enter mine it does not save
the outgoing mail server says Hotmail (offline) when i try to edit these setting again the password is blank and i am unable to amend this as the password will not save here either.
When i go back to my inbox and attempt to bring the account online nothing happens and i get the little triangle with exclamation mark inside
Anyone got any ideas as ive wasted hours on this already

According to your description, it’s not an Exchange account. And I’d like to confirm if other account can be configured on your Outlook client.
