Cannot get background Div colors to print

I am developing a site in DW and I cannot get background
colors to print in either a table or layer. This occurs in IE7 and
Firefox.

Hi,
You've turned on background colour printing in IE and
Firefox, right?
Print background colours (Internet Explorer):
With Internet Explorer open, click on Tools -> Internet
Options... This will
open a dialogue box, where you will need to select the
'Advanced' tab.
Scroll about half way down the settings list, and you will
find a 'Printing'
setting. Tick the 'Print background colors and images'
option. Then Click
OK.
Print background colours (Firefox):
With Firefox open, click on File -> Page Setup... This
will open a dialogue
box, where you will need to select the 'Format & Options'
tab. Tick the
'Print Background (colors & images)' option. Then Click
OK.
Cheers,
Chris.

    Try resetting the printing system:
    OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system
    Next try deleting the system and reinstall the printer..

    Try installing the Epson drivers from here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1398
    and then seeing if adding and printing with USB works.
    This site really works and my computer is now printing.

  • I cannot get my HP 6600 to print in color from my new macbook pro.

    Does anyone know how to help me get my Macbook Pro to print to my HP Officejet 6600 in color?  I am new to MAC computers and am sure it's just a setting I need to change.  I know it is not a printer problem as it prints color from the same webpage from my PC desktop.  Thanks.

    bamajim,
    Here is a link to a page for your printer that may help with your issue.
    The document provides steps to troubleshoot printouts that do not match the screen while printing from the web.
    Does this also happen when printing graphics from somewhere other than the web ?
    Once you give these steps a try let us know what happens.
    If I helped you at all it would be great if you clicked the blue kudos star!
    If I solved your post please mark it as solved to help others.

  • I cannot get the same colors when I print an image using Elements 12 (way off) and iPhoto (Close to Monitor color)

    My image colors are over saturated and off in tone when I try to print with Elements 12 but if I take the same image in to iPhoto the colors are much closer to what I see on the monitor.  There does not seem to be a way to match the color profile of iPhoto .
    Do you have a suggestion?

    Epson replied
    Thank you for contacting Epson regarding your Epson Stylus Photo R2880.
    We have seen an increase in calls of users using 10.7/10.8 with darkness or color issues. We do know this issue is coming from Adobe programs and they are aware of it and have told customers to test this by printing a photo from Apples Preview program, something other than an Adobe program. So if you right click on a jpeg file and select "open with", choose Preview and make settings here and print, the print should come out more like you are used to seeing. If it comes out normal, then this will tell you the program is the issue and you will need to contact Adobe for a fix or an update.
    I subsequently did a color test print with Preview  from an exported photo from Lightroom 4. I used Color Sync to manage the color with my icc profile to match the paper. The color came out perfectly. I then printed the picture with LR  having the application manage the color and the reds remain washed out with an unacceptable print.
    So it looks like the problem is with Adobe, not Epson.

  • Cannot get Brother HL-2140 laser printer to work -- AT WIT'S END...

    Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me to get this printer to work -- I'm about at the point that I'm just ready to chuck the d*mn thing out the window!
    For the record, I'm trying to use it with a Dual 1.42 GHz PowerPC G4 with 2 GB of memory, running System Version 10.5.6. And connection via USB.
    I CANNOT get it to print anything. Well, that's not COMPLETELY accurate -- I WAS able to get it to print a "printer settings" page by pushing the button on the printer. So obviously, it works. But ANYTHING sent from the computer -- no go. Every time, the print monitor or whatever it's called gives me a message saying "*Sending data failed!"*
    I have the latest driver downloaded from the Brother website. I have scoured the manual, the Brother website, and googled it, and have tried EVERY fix I've been able to find, save one (that I'm trying to avoid, for reasons I'll explain later). NONE of them have worked.
    There was a thread on here back in November, which I would've just posted on, but it's archived:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8507844&tstart=0
    I downloaded and tried the Print Therapy program that was mentioned in this thread -- it didn't help. The only thing I haven't tried is archiving and reinstalling, as was mentioned in the thread. I assume this means the system software, right? I REALLY don't want to do this, if I don't absolutely HAVE to. I have always bought Macs, because they just work. I don't want to "get under the hood" and tweak and tinker to get my computer to run better, or constantly have someone ELSE work on it when it's not working right, like many of my PC-owning friends have to. I don't run out and get the newest system software the instant it comes out, either -- instead of getting excited over new features and stuff, I generally tend more to get annoyed that I have to "relearn" or get used to the new ways things are set up or run or whatever. Anyway, when I got an iPhone a little over a year ago, I discovered after bringing it home that I had to go back to the Apple Store to buy Leopard -- because I couldn't activate the phone on my Mac (with old system software). So I did, installed it, and got a blue screen. That's it. Nothing else. I had to call Apple support and have someone talk me through going into the Terminal (which I didn't even know existed until that point) and enter a bunch of code. I felt like I was back in high school 20+ years ago, learning MS-DOS in computer class (which is why I didn't continue on with learning computer programming. Yuk. I discovered the Mac, and never looked back...). After about a half hour or so, we finally got it working. So my point after all that is that if I reinstall Leopard, I'm afraid I'll get just the blue screen again -- and I don't want to go through THAT again...
    In the thread, someone mentioned using Pacifist to install just parts of it. If I tried that, does anyone know exactly WHAT parts I would need to reinstall? Or does anyone even know if I'm at risk of getting the "blue screen" again, if I do either this OR a full install? Will it "reset" all that stuff I typed into the Terminal to the way it was when I first installed Leopard, or is whatever I changed in there now permanently changed?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It's 95% sure to be a software problem - but...
    You need to start eliminating possibilities. Like, you need to try a different USB cable. You need to try the printer and cable on a different computer.
    Go to Blue Apple Menu > About this Mac > More Info and check to be sure your Mac knows there's a Brother printer attached.
    Use your Apple Hardware Test CD (or maybe your model has that as a program on the original Install DVD) and run the test.

  • Cannot get footer div to be inside Wrapper DIV, without setting wrapper height

    I have a wrapper that contains everything on the page in the HTML code, and yet the footer displays outside of the Wrapper DIV. I've tried floating the wrapper DIV left and it then contains the footer, but the unwanted side effect is that the wrapper moves in which direction I float it instead of being where i need it to be, equidistant from either side of the browser window. I've tried overflow hidden, but that's not working either. Thanks.
    #wrapper {
    width: 1000px;
    margin-right: auto;
    margin-left: auto;
    background-color: #FFF;
    overflow: hidden;
    height: 2000px;
    #footer {
    clear: both;
    float: left;
    height: 200px;
    /* [disabled]margin-top: 50px; */
    background-color: #336699;
    width: 100%;

    Why is your footer floated left?

  • I cannot get my HP Photosmart to print.

    So when I bought my mac the other day I got my free printer that comes along with it. It is a HP Photosmart. I am connected wirelessly and my computer and printer have found one another/connected. When I go and try to print a page is allows me to choose how many pages I want, etc. Well when I go and press on print, it doesn't do anything. I did all the printer setup steps as needed and connected it to my computer and everything, I just can't seem to get it to print. Does anyone have any idea what could be going wrong? I may just be blonde and this could be a really easy issue. lol
    Thanks

    Well I tried all that and nothing was working so then I finally called Apple and everything was working on my computer so then I had to call HP and something was wrong, which I couldn't tell you word for word but happened but my IP Addresses weren't matching at all for some reason. Thank you for the helpful information though.

  • I cannot get my iphone 4 to print yo my brand new photosmart 6510 printer please help

    please help me get it to print. I've tried to search for the printer serveral time and it can't find it. All of my other computer on working wirelessly
    Thanks

    The steps given above would be the correct way to utlize Air Print.
    AirPrint makes printing your email, photos, web pages, and other documents easy with no software to download, no drivers to install, and no cables to connect. Simply hit 'print' and continue surfing the web without a single interruption.
    A quick workaround, for your issue would be to download HP ePrint Home & Biz app from the app store which will help with finding printer on network and give you diffrent print options.
    Print from virtually anywhere with HP ePrint Home & Biz: print wirelessly to supported HP printers on a local Wi-Fi/other network; print to any registered HP ePrint-enabled printer in the world.
    1. On your mobile device, install and register with iTunes if you have not done so already.
    2. Open the Apps Store .
    3. In the Apps Store Search feature, type HP ePrint Home & Biz , and then tap Search .
    4. If prompted, provide your iTunes account information, and then tap OK .
    If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!
    Although I work for HP, my posts and replies are my own opinion and not those of HP. .....

  • I cannot get macbook to recognise my printer--it comes up as being offline

    I have just got a macbook.
    I have loaded software for wireless printer--it is working , but comes up as being offline?

    I am having the same problem.  It worked fine and as of last week, it does not.  I have uninstalled the printer and reset the airport and modem, and still no recognition.  If my tech person cannot fix it, I have to contact 1)  HP, 2) Apple ( that will cost money) or 3) give up!
    I hope someone has a real answer to this problem and posts it.

  • Using airprint for iPad  I cannot get it to recognize the printer

    I can't get the HP airprint printer to be recognized on my ipad.

    If you are using iCloud Calendars for both the iPad & iMacs iCal, then you won't need to sync the iPad directly through the macs iTunes anymore. You'll just need internet connectivity on both to access the iCloud.
