Cannot get Bluetooth adapter on PC to sync with Ipod Touch Keep getting no driver installed message. Adapter works with other bluetooth devices, help please
I cannot get my iPod Touch to sunc with my Bluetooth adapter. The adapteer works with other BT devices. I received a message stating "no device driver installed" I am presuming the message is associated witht eh iPod. Any help or ideas appreciated.

The BT profiles on the iPod do not allow pairing with a computer. See:

How to sync new iPod Touch to replaced Hard Drive?
Okay, so I dropped my MB Pro and had to replace the hard drive... tragically, at the moment when my newest Time Machine backup is June 6 (long story, but I kept having the "Time Machine Drive is full" problem and never figured out how to get around it without buying lots of new drives).
So... here I am with a new drive that, after I go buy a Torx 6 screwdriver, I'll have to reload with a fresh install of 10.6... and then piece together with what files I could salvage from the damaged drive... but then I just realized I'll have another problem.
I have an iPad that I bought before the backup date, but which has changed content considerably since... and I have an iPod Touch that's only about two weeks old, but loaded with all my old songs, etc. and several new apps.
HOW do I sync up the iPad and iPod Touch to the computer once the new but "June 6" drive is up and running? Is there a way to have all the changes on the iPad and iPod added back to the Mac, rather than forcing those two units to also go back to my June 6 backup profile?Google "Pod to Mac". It is available as both a freeware and paid software. It will copy the content of your iPod touch and most likely your iPad as well back to your Mac. Somethings, like photos, may not get copied back.
As another potential backup, try Carbon Copy Cloner. You can use it to clone your hard drive making a restore much easier. -
When I try to do a CC update I get an U44M1I210 error message, "Update failed - Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press retry to download again. (U44M1I210)" - help please - re-downloading makes no difference, applies to latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC, others seemed to update without problems. I can see the disk image files in AAMUpdater folder but they will not open and come up with "couldn't be opened - resource busy" message.
Yes Jeff, I did all those several times to no avail.
I've included a small error snippet from two installs here. In Creative Cloud when updating the Apps, all 3 get to 50%, then the failure occurs. Retrying starts at 50% and fails the same way each time.
This first one is a segment from the Indesign updater - I have always had the all hard drive folders with read and write privileges allowed and I checked again, this is still the case so I do not know why this particular error message is arising. The second snippet if from the Illustrator update.

AirTunes to Apple TV is slightly out of sync with other AirTunes devices
I've noticed that AirTunes playback through Apple TV is slightly out of sync with the audio output from my Macbook and the AirTunes via my two Airport Express Base Stations. The audio from Apple TV is about a second delayed, causing a mismatch between AirTunes playback on the TV and my Macbook and other AirTunes devices. Thus, my Macbook and AEBSs are in harmony, but Apple TV's AirTunes is about a half-a-beat delayed.
Has anyone else noticed this problem or know of a way to remedy it?This is quite intriguing. I would expect that an amplifier would be able to decode the digital signal with no noticeable delay, otherwise DVDs etc would play with audio out of sync when using the digital output of the player. In fact, rather the opposite is true with new larger screens where it is the video that's slow and the audio needs to be delayed.
So this would point to the Apple TV's digital output being delayed vs. it's analogue output and I'm not too sure I understand why. It receives digital information over the network and then takes longer converting that to SPDIF (its digital output format) than it does converting it to analogue. Odd.
Perhaps an expert can advise us on this.
This would however explain why the Airport Express can exhibit the same problem and why some people don't experience any delay - they are probably using the analogue output of their Apple device.
What we need in iTunes when selecting devices to play from is an additional control for each with a +- setting that can adjust the delay of each output device so they can all be brought in sync. Since the delay appears to remain consistent that ought to solve the problem for everyone once and for all.
I'll try some tests of my own and see if my problem is indeed this digital delay. -

HT4623 reminders not syncing with other apple devices
I am having a problem with reminders in general. I have reminders set on my Iphone, Ipad, and mac but when I add a new one or delete one it does not sync to all of the products. How do i fix this? If I want to update them I have to do manually and make them all the same.

If you can't sign in, then you can't troubleshoot and/or pair the keyboard until after that........ so, for that, you will need to borrow someone's USB wired keyboard in order to get signed in and to the Keyboard Bluetooth Preferences.

As I've already said to get this far: I have lost a lot of tracks while syncing my iPod Touch with iTunes. I have managed to get free downloads of some of the single tracks, but when I try to download entire albums the system informs me that I have already purchased them and a pop-up window informs me I can get them back from my "Purchased" file. I would not be trying to dowload them again if they were anywhere on the iPod, would I? The other problem seems to be that with single tracks I don't know before I hit the purchase button if I have picked it from the right album and I have had to pay for it again.
I feel that I have been totally ripped off by iTunes and, apart from ranting on this forum, I don't seem to be able to let my feelings known. It's like a guy from my local record store coming round and nicking my albums and telling me that it's tough!
The point here is folks, that it was syncing two Apple sites which caused the loss of these tracks and from what I've read elsewhere this is a regular fault. And please don't tell me that it's my fault for having a pc. Apple shouldn't sell a product for pc, when it doesn't work on pc!- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck
If they are still available and listed in your Puchase History then contact iTunes

If you removed the device from your iCloud account rather than using the "Stop Lost Mode" option, then you will most certainly need to restore the iPhone, and that will require a computer running iTunes.

I have two faults! 1, an error comes up in Ps CC 2014 "could not apply the saved panel configuration, restring to default and my tools have disappeared completely and anything ive tried I cannot get them back not even the drop down menu in 'window' helps at all. I can give a few suggestions on Photoshop CC 2014, but Lightroom is a separate forum and you should ask Lr questions there.
First close Photoshop.
Then start Photoshop by double-clicking on it's icon and very quickly after that, hold down the ctrl-alt-shift keys until you see the reset dialog. answer "Yes" to delete settings, and let Photoshop continue to load.
It's tricky to do and may take a few tries, but at least it should reset Photoshop CC 2014 to defaults.
