When I select Help>Bridge in CS5 help returns the following:

It will not open, I have reinstalled, cleared the cache, & reset preferences, + installed the patch.
I do have Bridge CS3 that came with my PS Elements, & that works. Do not have any Norton, or other software running.

conswan, I would request the MOD's to move this to the bridge forum.
In the mean time you can try opening Bridge while pressing
Alt + Ctrl + Shift Key on Windows
OR
Cmd + Shift + Ctrl on MAC
That will reset the preferences for Bridge.

Cannot get Photoshop Elements 10 Trial to Install - Windows 7 64-bit

Hi,
I cannot get Photoshop Elements 10 Trial to Install - Windows 7 64-bit. I downloaded the trail of Photoshop CS6 just fine. I am trying to download the trial of Photoshop Elements 10. I get the adobe installer window and I login in and select my PSE 10 Trial and the installation begins and I have it saved to my desktop. When the installation finishes nothing happens. There is a Photoshop Elements folder on my desktop but it is empty. I have tried a couple of time with the same result.
Any suggestions?

Hi Ken,
I apologize for not making myself clear. What I meant by "saving to desktop" was when I I went to download the the trial of PSE 10 the install window will ask me where I want to save the file. It is defaulted (highlighted) to save to "my documents" but I selected to save the file to my desktop. I tried to install the trial of Photoshop Elements 10 again and this time it did install and is working.

Cannot get Bridge to run

I just installed Prod Prem CS6 on my laptop. I cannot get Adobe Bridge to run. I can run After Effects and Photoshop. I tried to start Bridge as an Administrator, but that did not work.
The install was a clean install.

Alan, do you get any error message, while running BR CS6? If so, error screenshot would help.
Could you check if you have multiple Bridge processes running at the same time in Task Manager. If so, end those processes and check again.

Ipad screen unresponsive.cannot get past trust screen to access computer reset

It sounds like you want to use your iMac to restore your iPad, but the iPad is unresponsive.
If you have restarted the iPad but the behavior continues, try to reset it next:

Just installed OS 8.3, it opened and locked into iTunes connection logo as opening screen. I cannot get to any other screen. Hard close down has not solved it and I cannot get to usual homescreen to access the reset options. Ideas?

Earlier today my iPad which was using OS 8.2) kept shutting down every few minutes. I thought it might be some new incompatibility connected with the recent release of OS 8.3,. So, I updated to OS 8.3. It took many attempts and a very long time - over an hour - because the iPad kept shutting down mid-process. Supposedly 8.3 is now installed, but all I get is the Apple logo followed by a screen showing a connection, cursor arrow pointing up-screen to a box reading "iTunes". I cannot get out of that screen to any other screen and can only close by hard shut down, fully powering off (home button + power button). When I restart the device it shows first the Apple logo for a few seconds, then the iTunes connection logo. Nothing else. This has been going on for about three hours now. I am not an iTunes user so I am not sure what to think or what to expect.. Is it maybe something to do with iTunes being updated in the background? 3 hours seems a long time for an update whatever it is. Is anyone else encountering this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions, bearing in mind that I cannot get to the usual opening home screen, so can't get to settings or anything to do a reset. I hope someone can help me with this problem. If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.

Hardly ever had a need for this, but if I remember correctly you will need to set:
allowuntrustedrouting = yes
in main.cf
(No need for allowpercenthack (I think))
or you could create a hash table before rejectunauthdestination to return OK based on your needed patterns.
I think the first method will work though.
Side question: I placed `rejectnon_fqdnsender'
after rejectunauthdestination destination because I
didn't want to bother checking the sender unless I
confirmed the recipient was at my server. Does that
comment that it doesn't work after
checkrelaydomains, mean that it also doesn't get
processed after
checkrelaydomains is deprecated
You can place rejectnon_fqdnsender anywhere you like or even omit it, but I don't see why you would have to.

HT201320 keep getting message on iPad 4, when opening mail "Cannot Get Mail" Help!

I have my hotmail and gmail both set up on my iPad 4 3 G. Also had it on my iPad 1, before changing over to the 4. It has all been fine, until recently, where I keep getting a pop up window, upon trying to open my email. Message says: Cannot Get Mail, The mail server "imap.gmail.com" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings. Then is has a OK button to press. I have checked and rechecked in my mail settings that the info is correct. Don't know what to do. PS....I already had my two accounts synced together, so I see most mail, but cannot retrieve some mail I have placed into folders.

Yahoo's been having persistently random issues for months. You can try just waiting it out, or delete and readd your yahoo account. When my accounts were affected I just used webmail to access my yahoo accounts until it cleared up.
Chances are it's all on their end and really all you can do is wait it out.

I am attempting to access a coldfusion 9 webservice that I created and am also consuming. The pair works fine when both requesting page and the webservice are resident on my development server, but generates the following error when in production:

Note: the wsdl renders just fine in a browser at the address I'm using so it's not a can't find it or location issue. I'm no expert in reading wsdl files, though, so it could render some clues if I knew what to look for.
For context:
When I go from my development environment to production, the consuming page is on casadiablo.net/indexCDnet.cfm (hosted by Hostek). The webservice is on a PC in my home that has a dedicated IP address.
I've searched all over for an "access denied" java error (related to CF web services) discussion and have found nothing. Any ideas as to how to troubleshoot where in this chain a java.io.FilePermission error might be triggered would be greatly appreciated!!

Case solved. It turns out that this is totally a Hostek issue. After exhausting all other options (including uninstalling and reinstalling java), it was a setting on the security sandbox that caused the error. Well at least this will be out there for anyone else working with webservices and Hostek!

Every time I try to download Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 after purchasing, I get a page that says 'Access Denied'.

Once you have clicked on download, it download Adobe download assistand and From there you can download Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 and install it with your serial number.

Im trying to download skype and adobe flash player however i cant download anything because i get this message saying either access denied or some technical error in the gateway/proxy??

Hard disk access denied after decryption of bit locker password

i was using Bitlocker as a security purpose for a month but today i was removing the bitlocker password ,while decryption of the Hard disk it stop at 45% and stop there ...after some time i pause the decryption and remove the drive.... when i again insert
into usb... it is just showing the device but no memory space and when i click to open it,it shows access denied iam in trouble becoz it contain 150 gb of my important data ..plz help me..
