Cannot get email or internet on ipad.

anyone else having that problem today ? I have tried to restore the ipad. it is up to date and still nothing. it opens safari and then closes same thing with email.

What did your provider say when you talked to them about this problem?

If you downloaded the correct version for your iPad model (and the different models have different ipsw files), then you should be able to navigate to it in iTunes by pressing and holding the shift key on Windows (command key on Mac) when clicking the Check For Updates button.

Sometimes it is fruitless to try to "fix" a broken account on an iOS device. I would delete the account on both devices and then configure the account again from scratch.

"Javascript" is not "java", two completely separate and different programming languages. So you are not getting "java errors". If you are using a browser to get your email then likely there is broken javascript code at the server.

Start by working throudh the Troubleshooting iOS and WiFi knowledge base article and see if that helps the situation. When you get to shutting down the router, be sure to disconnect power as shutdown on some is really just standby mode.

No one seems to be hearing what Big Q is saying.
He can pair his iPhone to his Macbook, but cannot CONNECT. He's NOT asking for alternative solutions, like Wi Fi.
I am able to both pair and connect my one one Macbook to my other one, but I can only pair but not connect my iPhone or iPad to either Macbook. So I have the same problem. But I can pair and connect my Macbooks to other Bluetooth devices, like my ancient Nokia cellfone, or my Bluetooth HP printer.
It's irrelavent that I can instead use a direct USB cable or Wi Fi between my Macbooks and my iPhone/iPad - why can't I use Bluetooth? If Apple does not allow Bluetooth between it's Macbooks and other Mac devices, then why have Bluetooth at all? Does my iPhone have Bluetooth only so that I can pair and connect to my my non Apple mobile handsfree car kit, or communicate easily with the dreaded Apple enemy Samsung, or what?
Make no mistake , I am a diehard Apple fan, but this Bluetooth non compatibility issue appears shortsighted and seemingly pointless. Why does Apple not just say why they created the non compatibility, or have a message on the Bluetooth setup programme which simply and clearly says "don't bother wasting hours of your time trying to pair and connect your iPhone to your Macbook, because we don't allow that anymore, reason being that............"?

Iphone 5. cannot get mail. no internet connection available.

I have the iphone 5. My carrier is Sprint. I can get email only when connected to wi-fi. When no wi-fi is available I get a pop up message that says: cannot get mail. no internet connection available.
I am sure I am just missing a setting or something to correct this. Any ideas?

I experienced this problem firsthand with a Sprint iPhone 5 about a month ago, telling me it had no internet connection and could not check my email (which was Gmail, set up through the native Mail app, using default settings). I can confirm that restarting the phone (holding home + power buttons until restart) temporarily fixed the problem but it quickly returned. Toggling Airplane mode did nothing. The problem did return within the same day after a period of time. I have since switched back to AT&T.
Interstingly, my sister had the same issue with her brand new Sprint iPhone 5 this week. She called Sprint and the customer service representative confirmed that this is a problem that only affects Sprint iPhone 5 users who use Gmail. The rep told her that it affects Gmail both in the native Mail app and also in the Gmail app, but web use still works (I haven't confirmed this). The rep also said that Sprint is aware of the problem and working on a fix that would be delivered in the form of a "software update" but there was no clarification if that was an iOS update or a Sprint carrier update.
That's all the info I have now, but if you're a Sprint iPhone user and experiencing this problem, please do call Sprint and let us know what you find out.

Over last 24 hours I cannot get emails or access internet. Everytime I try to reset the email the message comes up "your device had a problem connecting to the server". Anyone have any ideas?

I have the 9350 and the excact smae thing happened to my phone as well. The last emails I recieved on my phone where on Wed the 25th at 10pm. Now I manage to get my phone to update my emails tonight by selecting "edit or register a new or current email account:" That upedated all the emails I had recieved for the 26th.

ok I am currently recieveing emails now, what I did was remove battery (didnt help) then went into settings and just entered my email addresses and passwords again on my BB. Hope it works for you!

Thank you for asking your question! It sounds like you are unable to send or recieve email from the account you setup in the Mail app on your iPad. I want to recommend the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article:

Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

Iphone 5 cannot get email over 3g

I cannot get my Hotmail, Yahoo, or other email on my iphone 5 over 3g. I can get to the internet via Safari and apps. If I use a Wifi network, it has issue. Any ideas? It says "cannot get mail" No internet connection available. I have tried turning off Wifi, restarting, etc.
