Cannot get Firefox to remember passwords. Am using Windows 7 home premium and a Dell XPS 1500. Please help!!
The XPS is a new computer and working fine. Other computers in house with Firefox remember pass words. This one doesn't. have tried all the Firefox help messages and none seem to work. Was thinking of deleting Firefox and downloading again but have not done so yet. Need your advice.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly, maybe the Ask.com toolbar.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Cannot install itunes 11.1.3 to my windows vista home premium 32-bit. After it finishes the download that it verifies the file I get a message saying "this file cannot be downloaded". What could the problem be??? I uninstalled my itunes and tried again and keep getting the same message. Please help !

I have windows vista home premium and all other iTunes worked on my laptop, I downloaded iTunes 10 and now the iTunes will not connect to the Internet. I use Mozilla firefox on my laptop and for some reason it keeps saying the connection timed out and I'm not connected to the Internet when I am. Why isn't iTunes recognizing my web configuration?
It probably has to do with your security and/or browser configuration.
When my laptop crashed last year and I had to get a new one, I dealt with the same thing. First, go to your control panel and select the security section. See if your firewalls are up or not. If they are, turn them off. If you have any software to speed up your browser, that can affect the connection as well. Go into that software and disble/turn it off. If this doesn't work, contact customer support. They have a few other tricks they had me try that worked, but I can't remember them now. -
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.I've never had this problem before... today I opened iTunes and it prompted me to download the newest version. I use iTunes all the time and have updated it multiple times with no issues. During the installation process it gave me an error message that said:

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. Hi all! I was updating the software on i pad to ios6, update was interrupted(apple update server is unavailable...). iTunes Diagnostics shows that "secure link to I tunes store failed". I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Can anybody help please?

How can I find a manual or other information to use Windows 7 Home Premium on Mac Book Pro 10.6.6.
Specically, I am trying to find information concerning keyboard combinations that work on a PC that don't
use the same keystrokes on the Mac Book Pro (ie: what keystroke combintions to "print screens").

So your looking for the keyboard mapping differences between the two operating systems.
As you know you can use a PC keyboard from someplace like Logitech and map the keys the way you want too.
So really all the hard work has been done for you, use the programable PC keyboard and everything works just like before.
If you search Apple's site you'll find all the OS X keyboard combinations. -
My iTunes has been freezing when it opens then crashes my computer. I have uninstalled it, reinstalled, updated yet it still will not open? I am using windows 7 home premium 3.2GHz with 4Gig of ram. All my other programs work flawless but iTunes will not? anyone have a solution?
Having found a working library file it may pay to copy it into the standard location and reconnect to it there. See Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash for the steps I would normally have given.

As stated, I was required to change a password, yet the old password still appeared in the field, so I went into settings and deleted the old one, but now I cannot get Firefox to save the new password. And yes, I have wasted a lot of time attempting the "solutions" on the help sites, but nothing has worked. Thank you for any help.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving form data like name and password.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox store form data like names and passwords.

Note that Firefox won't auto-fill saved form data automatically when autocomplete=off is used, so you need to double-click the empty name field to get a drop-down list. -

MNRKI don't know about 11g, but with 10g and earlier, the odbc drivers do not install by default with the client. You have to choose "custom installation" then select "windows components". Since I never knew what all would be installed in a "typical" (admin or run-time) installation, I would always select one of those configs (admin or run-time, as appropriate), then run a second installation - choosing the same ORACLE_HOME as before, choosing "custom" installation, then selecting "windows components" from the list of features. -

I simply let the iPod run out of battery.
Then it said CONNECT TO POWER.
And then I did.

firefox has always stored passwords. a week or so ago the passwords disappeared and the Remember button no longer works. all the password feature using the tools function are double checked and properly set. firefox Remember button still does not work

Duplicate files as a result of external backup drive
I just moved from Vista 32bit to windows 7 64 bit. After I installed iTunes and copied over my library from the backup drive iTunes has duplicates of EVERYTHING, doubling my library in space. Every night my music gets backed up to an external drive.
