Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you dont receive email from one account on one device. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
Log in to your email provider's website to make sure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Make sure your settings are correct using Mail Settings Lookup.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the affected email account.
Tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

I am having trouble getting my AOL mail forwarded to the Mail program .... I have to delete and add the account...and it shows up....but then never can get it again even though the activity is showing movement etc...my iphone and old MacPro and iPad can receive mail timely.....

How does iCloud have anything to do with this, you have 2 email accounts, neither of them an iCloud account?
If you want to get Gmail on your iPhone add it to your iPhone. Same goes for Outlook.

I updated my Mac now I cannot get my mail from the "postage stamp" It keeps saying the mail will repair but it doesnt.

It might also help if you told us what you are doing to try and login which you think is right.
One definition of crazy is repeating the same actions overs and over expecting different results.
You could have an iPad that uses a SIM card as well as WiFi.
You may not then get an alert about not being able to contact the servers.
You may be doing all the right actions but have a poor and bad internet connection.
Although it is unlikely the place you are at may be blocking the port Messages uses.
More possible but also unlikely is that they (it is always "they") are blocking access to the servers by name. (Domain Blocking).

TS3899 How can I change server info it keeps saying incorrect username and password but not and the server is written smtpaol several times and I cannot change that what does that mean?

The outgoing mail server should be smtp.aol.com. This is the correct server setting. Try using another server under Other Server. Turn the Primary Server Off and use another server under Other SMTP Servers.

Cannot Send E-mail (AOL account) since iOS5 iPhone upgrade

I just recently upgraded to iOS5. Since the upgrade I can no longer send AOL e-mail, but I am receiving it. The message I keep getting is the recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You're probably going to want to work with somebody locally.
Your local network connection could be intermittent or having outages (wireless networks are notorious for this, particularly in more urban areas, and "public" WiFi networks - such as those typical at many McDonald's restaurants - can be quite interrmittant), the mail server you're connecting to could be having stability issues, the DNS server you're using could have an incorrect or stale translation (that's usually either a mail server that's just moved IP addresses, or a failing DNS server, or some other less-likely trigger), or (less likely, given things worked for a while, then stopped) the mail server configuration (port, host name, SSL setting) might not be entirely correct.
Select Connection Doctor from the Window menu within Mail.app, and see what that reports.

I get this warning now To. Never saw it in last 5 years and 4 iPhones. Cannot get yahoo small biz email access anymore via iPhone on safari web login because of this same warning. Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
