Cannot get INSTlled ADD-ONS ONTO ADD-ON BAR
After installing a add-on,I cannot get it onto the add-on bar. I find it in the add-on Manager. It's not on the Customize toolbar either.
Why don't it show up on customize toolbar after installed? Then I could drag it.
Make sure that you do not press the Shift key if you start Firefox.
It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

I am trying to get rid of DigiSave ads, cannot find the add-on bar to remove.
DigiSaver is popping up all over the place, and I need it removed. How do I do this? There is no Add On bar on my Firefox page and this all started after the last Firefox update. I want it gone, it is intrusive and I never requested it.
You can disable Digisave by going:
*Click the orange Firefox button > Add-ons > Extensions
*Find ''DiguiSavEr'' and Remove it. -
When i0S7 was installed on iphone all purchased apps disappeared. Now when I go to app store I can open app, but cannot get app to install on phone. How can I get apps installed back onto iphone screen?
Press your home button, then scroll the home screen all the way over to the right. I found all my purchased apps were moved to a different home screen. Might be a similar issue.. let us know what you found out!!

CanNOT get my itunes movies onto my iPhone...
I've tried every conceivable sync. These are not rentals but purchased TV shows.
What happened was - I am leaving on a business trip so with the iphone all synced up - I attached it to my laptop and synced so I would have the tv shows on the laptop - I only have 3 out of my 5 authorized copies at this point.
I had a weird die on my iPhone and then since my restore - I have it on my laptop and my desktop but no matter what I try I cannot get the movies back on my iPhone - go into the setting select all and selected episodes but nothing works.
Any suggestions? In a few hours I'll only have my laptop.

So I was running Firefox before. and my girlfriend told me to try google chrome out. So after about a month of trying it out, I prefered Firefox, so I loaded it back on, and now I can't open any pages or get access to the add-ons. I liked firefox before but I'm thinkging that its too much of a hastle to have to do this. But if it's fixable please tell me.21q
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I am trying to mnaintain my sanity when browsing and had No-Script, Request Policy and Ad Block installed and working well. I made a mistake and some malware got in there. I reformatted my drive and tried to restore via Moz backup but it will not install any add-ons in ANY version I have tried thus far.
Might be totally unrelated to the problem you're having, but saying it since it's still important: you should definitely upgrade to Firefox 3.6 asap, as 3.0.x is no longer supported by Mozilla. This means that you're no longer patched for security holes and are exposed to online threats like viruses, etc.
Upgrading is easy - just go to mozilla.com and download the latest and greatest version of Firefox. Good luck! -
Your window below with pluginfo does not much my list of add-ons. I have only one: forecastfox (weather for Germany). I have not been able to see a firefox toolbar, even though I have add-on toolbar enabled. I hve tried adding other add-ons, they don't appear in any toolbar eithereither.
The avg toolbar refuses to display my choice of weather. I have de-installed their one, which does not allow a wide range of cities, and reinstalled mine, which has adjacent city choices, all to no availa.

I cannot get my add uploaded to iAd Workbench using iAd Producer
I am using version 4.2 of iAd Producer and trying upload my add to iAd Workbench.
I get the following error. Does anybody know how to resolve this error?They are not all on iTunes, I copied some over from my old Droid device when I bought the Nano,. It was my understanding that there isn't a way to get those into iTunes. Does having initially setup the Nano on a Windows machine have anything to do wish this? I've switched to a Mac mini as the Windows machine is on life support. I never had issues downloading from the Windows pc.

Cannot get old email messages onto new Z10
I have a bb9800 and am trying to get the old email messages off of it onto the new Z10. The 9800 only had the telus.blackberry.net email address and on the Z10 I have the company email. Is there a way to get those emails over other than forwarding them all individually
Hi and Welcome to the Community!
If you mean that you wish to have your old @telus emails visible on your Z10, the answer is no. That email was provided by BIS, and BB10 does not use BIS. Hence, those email addresses cannot be configured to a BB10 device. So, the only way to have those emails on the BB10 device is via forwarding from the @telus email account over to one that indeed can be integrated to the Z10.
BTW -- you need to migrate off of that @telus email address, as it will be going away. They are allowing one year of auto-forwarding (which you need to configure...contact Telus for assistance), after which that @telus email address will cease to exist.

Cannot get Music or Video onto iPhone 5
Hi
I have a new Iphone 5 - 16gb,
I cannot download any of my purchased music or new purchase from the store - it runs through the download, gets to processing then fails with a "item cannot be downloaded at this time - Done or Retry"
I cannot sync any music from my PC (Sony Vaio). It appears to run through the process, but nothing transfers - under music on the iPhone the selection appears greyed out in iTunes, but cannot be seen from the device.
Match is not enabled. Auto Update is not enabled
It does actually sync photos.
My iPod Classic and Ipad (new one with lightening) work abosulutly fine.
So far I have:
Re-installed iTunes
Reset and restored iPhone
Changed from Manual to Automatic Sync
Changed endless spurous settings that have been suggested on various forums
After 5 hours of trying I am on the verge of giving up and returning to Android as the iPhone isn't fit for purpose.
If anyone has any ideas that will help I would be incredibly grateful as I really don't want to revert to my old phone.

I reset the iPhone and set it up as a new phone (not using a previous backup). This seems to have fixed the problem with downloading purchases. I tried this with a purchase from yesterday and will try a couple of others.
I will try it with iTunes shortly and see if this has fixed this problem as well.
I am wondering if the problem stems from using a backup file originally created on my iPad to initially set up the phone. -
Cannot get my iPad purchases onto new computer
My Mac died and when I was migrating into the new one from a backup I seem to have entered the wrong user name in iTunes, which generated a new account.
The email address for the old account no longer exists and I cannot update it to my new one because this is associated with the second empty account which hasn't been set ut with any credit cards or anything. The second irroneous account cannot be deleted and only it can be associated with my only email address.
So I now have an iPad, filled with things I have bought that are not synced to the Mac. I get an option to erase the iPad and overwrite it with an older version from my computer, using an old email address that no longer exists as user name , or to erase the iPad and start anew with the irroneous account which has the correct email address but no content.
I seem to be too old to understand computers anymore. I need help.I keep my itunes library in on an external drive, so I don't have this problem. To get the files to your new computer, simply copy them into a location of your choosing. This can either be in the music/itunes folder, or somewhere completely different. Then go to the advanced tab in Itunes preferences. Make sure the copy to itunes folder location checkbox, and the keep itunes organized checkbox are selected. If you put the files into the original itunes folder simply hit reset. Otherwise click the change location, and browse to your new music folder. Itunes will then automatically start adding the files into your library.

Suddenly I cannot get photos from iPad onto my Mac.
From the beginning, I simply connected the iPad2 to my Mac with the USB, and all photos were uploaded onto my Mac. I've followed all the directions to get updates for both Mac and iPad2. Now none of my new photos upload onto the Mac. Can you help?
I'm not sure how you were importing the photos on your Mac but the two ways that I know of are with iPhoto and Image Capture.
Open iPhoto and go to Preferences>General>Connecting Camera Opens - and you can select iPhoto or Image Capture.
Connect your iPad to your Mac and Open Image Capture. Click on devices and then at the bottom of the left side you can select - Connecting this iPad Opens - and choose the app of your choice from there. These are copied and pasted from Help in the two applications.
When you connect the iPad now, one of the chosen applications will open and let you import the images.
To import photos from iPad:
Connect your iPad to your computer using the Dock Connector to USB cable that came with your iPad.If iPhoto wasn’t already open, it opens for you (unless you changed this preference in iPhoto or your iPad is locked).After your iPad is connected and turned on, iPhoto opens in import view and your iPad appears in the Source list.
By default, iPhoto divides photos into separate Events during the import process.You can optionally enter a description in the Event Name field.If you don’t want iPhoto to automatically create events, deselect the Split Events checkbox at the bottom of the window.If you want to change the time frame used to sort your photos into Events, you can change it in iPhoto preferences.
If you don’t want to see photos that you’ve already imported into iPhoto, select the Hide Photos Already Imported checkbox at the bottom of the window.
Do one of the following:
To import all the photos shown in the iPhoto window, click Import All.
To import a selection of photos, press the Command key while clicking photo thumbnails, or drag to select a group of photos, and then click Import Selected.
To cancel photo transfer at any time during your import, click Stop Import. Then, in the dialog that appears, choose to continue importing the photos, keep the photos that have been imported and stop importing the remaining photos, or delete the photos that have been imported.
After the import process is finished, drag the device icon to the iPhoto Trash, and then disconnect your iPad from your computer by unplugging the Dock Connector to USB cable.Important: Before you disconnect your iPad, wait until all photos have been imported into iPhoto (or until you click Stop Import).
This is from Image Capture. I'm assuming you used Image Capture.
Transferring items automatically
You can automatically transfer items from your camera to your computer whenever you connect the camera to your computer.
To transfer items whenever you connect your camera:
Connect your camera to your computer, and turn the camera on.
Select the camera in the Devices list at the left of the Image Capture window.
From the “Connecting this [device] opens” pop-up menu, choose AutoImporter.If you don’t see that pop-up menu, click the “Show device settings” button in the lower-left corner.
The next time you connect your camera, Image Capture transfers images from the camera to the AutoImporter folder in your Pictures folder (in your home folder). -
I have done everything suggested but I just cannot get my iphone photostream onto my laptop!!
I know this has been done to death.....but its just SO frustrating and Im now just too confused......I simply cant get my iphone pics to upload onto my laptop any more.....Ive re-installed the icloud control panel, uploaded latest version, checked compatability, signed in and out blah blah blah....I just dont know what to do next.......I kept thinking each suggestion would be that Eureka moment - but alas not yet. Any simple help please much appreciated.

It is a synchronous web-based classroom that will not function in Firefox. It did once, then broke with the Java scare, then it was fixed (by running all the suggested fixes) and it ran Friday. Now it won't run.
