Cannot get my music from my phone onto my computer again!

I could not get my music from my computer to my phone ever since I got a new MacBook, so I used iCloud to get it on my phone. Now my music is on my phone, but I cannot play my music on my computer because I cannot click on songs! The songs are still there, but they are a lighter color than the rest of the songs and they cannot be selected or played or anything. HELP!

Have you authorized your new Mac with your iTunes ID? Sign onto iTunes with your Apple/iTunes ID, and then click on Store at the top of the screen then on Authorize this Computer.

I'm trying to sync photos so I can upgrade my phone, and keep all my photos taken with my old phone.
But I cannot get the photos from my phone to my computer because when I link my phone to my mac iphoto doesn't recognise it at all.
Any ideas?

Lots of folks fix these kinds of issues with a simple restart of the phone. Others require a Reset of the phone.

First, I am not well versed when it comes to computers, with that being said I need help. I was trying to figure out how to get my music from my ipod onto my computer and somehow all my music on my ipod is gone and none of it made it to my computer.

Is there any way I can find my music? I had originally added this music to my ipod from my old now deceased computer and I didn't have it backed up externally.

It is now gone. If it was not iTunes purchased music you will have to get your CDs out and rerip them on the new computer. You have to use 3rd party software to copy non-iTunes music from an iPod to a computer, such as Yamipod.

Downloading past purchases from iTunes
iTunes purchased content on the device can be transferred to the computer, simply connect the device. Do not Sync! Select File > Transfer Purchases.
The best solution is to use the backup of the computer to put everything back.

Plug it in. In iTunes, go to File>Transfer purchases. If the music in question was NOT purchased from iTunes, you can not transfer it without purchasing 3rd party software. It had to come from your computer to begin with.

You copy them from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
The iphone is not a backup/storage device.

If you do not have a back up of the crashed hard drive you can download an app to copy from the iPhone to iTunes on the new hard drive.
I have used Pod2Mac. There is also Pod2PC.

First, you would need to make a backup of the entire iTunes folder on the PC. You could get music to the iPad if the PC was still functioning, or you would have to move the music to another computer. An iPad is not a laptop, and does not have a port to plug an external drive into. You can sync music to the iPad from the computer, but you are correct, unless you get iTunes Match, you would need a computer to copy the music to and then sync to an iPad.

Did you not have a Time Machine backup of your Macbook Pro or a clone backup on an external HD?
To copy music from the iPhone to your Mac -- except purchases from the Apple Store -- you need third-party software.
