    Happy Holidays!  If you are having issues with the verification email for your iCloud/Apple ID, follow the steps below:
    If you didn't receive your verification or reset email - Apple Support

    Not sure where that email was sent? Here are some tips to help you find it.
    When you make certain updates to your Apple ID, we’ll send you an email to help you complete the update. For example, you might have reset your password, reset your security questions, or added a new email address to your account. If you can't find the email after we send it, these steps can help.
    Search for the email
    We'll send the email from "Apple," so you can quickly search for it. If it isn't in your inbox, check your folders. If a spam filter or email rule moved the email, it might be in the Spam, Junk, Trash, Deleted Items, or Archive folder.
    Make sure you're checking the correct email account
    If you're looking for a password reset email, make sure you're checking the correct email inbox. It will either be your primary Apple ID email address or a separate rescue email address that you added to your account. 
    If you're looking for a verification email, you can sign in to My Apple ID and review all the email addresses you have on file, including the one that you're trying to verify. If the email address is incorrect, you can update it and send another verification email.
    Resend the email
    To resend a reset email, repeat the steps to reset your password or security questions, and we'll send an email to your rescue or primary Apple ID email address.
    To resend the verification email, go to My Apple ID, select Manage your Apple ID, then sign in. Click Resend next to the email address that you want to verify, and we'll send an email to that address.
    Make sure that you're getting email
    If you're not getting any email, you might need to contact your email service provider for help. You can also use these steps to get help receiving email at OS X Mail or an iCloud email address. 
    Contact us
    Go to System Status and see if Apple ID is available. If you still can't find the reset email or verification email, contact Apple Support.

    Plug my iPod into computer and iTunes told to uninstall mobile device support and iTunes, I did and as I try to reinstall iTunes, it told me my computer cannot get rid of old iTunes and to contact technical support. My computer is hp windows and my iPod touch is a 3rd generation I believe.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

    He can pair his iPhone to his Macbook, but cannot CONNECT. He's NOT asking for alternative solutions, like Wi Fi.
    I am able to both pair and connect my one one Macbook to my other one, but I can only pair but not connect my iPhone or iPad to either Macbook. So I have the same problem. But I can pair and connect my Macbooks to other Bluetooth devices, like my ancient Nokia cellfone, or my Bluetooth HP printer.
    It's irrelavent that I can instead use a direct USB cable or Wi Fi between my Macbooks and my iPhone/iPad - why can't I use Bluetooth? If Apple does not allow Bluetooth between it's Macbooks and other Mac devices, then why have Bluetooth at all? Does my iPhone have Bluetooth only so that I can pair and connect to my my non Apple mobile handsfree car kit, or communicate easily with the dreaded Apple enemy Samsung, or what?
    Make no mistake , I am a diehard Apple fan, but this Bluetooth non compatibility issue appears shortsighted and seemingly pointless. Why does Apple not just say why they created the non compatibility, or have a message on the Bluetooth setup programme which simply and clearly says "don't bother wasting hours of your time trying to pair and connect your iPhone to your Macbook, because we don't allow that anymore, reason being that............"?
    As a first time user of this Forum I am surprised at the intolerant and highhanded tone of some of the replies  to what is a legitimate question, that is obviously plagueing many, many other Apple users.

    Thank you for asking your question! It sounds like you are unable to send or recieve email from the account you setup in the Mail app on your iPad. I want to recommend the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article:

    Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
    Restart your iOS device.
    Delete the affected email account from your device.
    Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
    Add your account again.

    You can go to the Apple online store and purcahse a copy of Mountain Lion.  This will give you a redemption code, which you can use to download Mountain Lion from the App Store.  Unfortuantely, I'm not aware of any other way to legally purchase it.  I have never seen Apple release Muontain Lion on DVD.
    In terms of Apple Service, they just need the serial number of the machine to check the purcahse date.  It is usually correct, to within a few weeks.  A quick Google search should give you the correct number to dial.

    I would delete the account and try to re-enter it. Also, you have to let your firm's IT department know that you want to sync work email on your personal devices before they actually work.

    Your music will only be where you put it. It does not magically appear in other places.  Copy it from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
    If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some coutries:

  • Sometimes I cannot get emails to delete

    When deleteing email I will be going along then all of a sudden I cannot get emails to delete. I push the delete button and nothing happens. I also cannot get them to delete with the right click. I also tried safe mode and it happens in that mode 2. I have a Windows 7 Home Premium and the latest version of Thunderbird. I am using Viper anti virus. This is on a new computer.
    Any ideas?

  • Cannot Get Emails on 8530

    Over last 24 hours I cannot get emails or access internet.  Everytime I try to reset the email the message comes up "your device had a problem connecting to the server".  Anyone have any ideas? 

    I have the 9350 and the excact smae thing happened to my phone as well.  The last emails I recieved on my phone where on Wed the 25th at 10pm.  Now I manage to get my phone to update my emails tonight by selecting "edit or register a new or current email account:"  That upedated all the emails I had recieved for the 26th.

    ok I am currently recieveing emails now,  what I did was remove battery  (didnt help)  then went into settings and just entered my email addresses and passwords again on my BB.  Hope it works for you!
    Sp far so good on my end,  I just recieved an email now while typing this, so i assume this fixed it!  (for now)
