CANNOT GET ONLINE NEWTROK PREFERANCES WONT OPEN AT ALL

Ok this is very urgent, but this is what happend. I deleted the SystemPreferences folder by accident, Like i tried to delete it and it would not let me, So I restarted the mac, when it booted back up, my wifi was no longer connected, and it was no longer configured, so I tried to open Network Preferences, but when i click Network Preferences it will not open, it will just sit there forever, and then load a rainbow mouse. So I took the system Preference folder out fo the trash and I put it back in the correct folder, and it still will not start up. I have tried to repair Permissions, and I even did a reset P-Ram, still Network Preference's will not open. And so I have no internet access, If anyone can help please do. Thanks guys

Your SystemPreferences Application is located at
/Applications/SystemPreferences.app
Which did you delete? By drag n dropping back to its former location you have probably changed its permissions.
I would suggest you download pacifist it is shareware.
use this app with your System Install DVD and restore your the relevant application or folder that you deleted. At least this will restore it with the correct permissions.
Then dowload the 10.5.6 combo update and install that.

I cannot get online. Network status lights are all red. Even if I connect with an Ethernet cord. When I enter a password, it does not accept it. A new window opens and asks for the password.

So how are you connected to the internet? Have you repowered your modem? have you repowered your router? if it does accept your password then the password you entered is incorrect.

Every since I did the newest update I cannot get online.

Everysince I downloaded the newest version for the Ipod touch I cannot get online. It just keeps circling next to the wifi. What is your version of Adobe Camera Raw, Bridge, and Photoshop?
What files are you trying to open in ACR? If Raw, for what camera model?

Cannot get online with netbook

We upgraded to Infinity but now I cannot get online on my netbook. The icon and wireless connection panel indicate I am connected by when I launch my browser (IE) it says unable to display webpage. My husband managed to get online by using Openzone but this is not very satisfactory when we are paying for Infinity. Our OS is Windows XP.

It's good you've got on line with Openzone, I presume from your own signal... checks that wireless connectivity is working between your Netbook and HH3.
If you go to your HH3 you can pull out a useful plastic card/tab which has your wireless code on it.
Then with your Netbook click on your wireless icon... probably bottom right and click on your wireless name.
This should say something like connect, enter in the wireless key exactly as shown on your tab/hub settings card.
And it should connect.
I removed the BT Help Desk software off my XP PC as it caused connection problems... kept saying connection failure did I want it fixed... say yes and click on the picture of the HH I was using then it went and connected.
I didn't have this problem on any of my other machines so as this XP PC was the only one with the BT software I removed it as it is uneccessary and the problem never re-occured.
A useful wireless scanner that's free http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/ will show your home signals and
can help identify a clear or least used channel you can moved your HH3 from it's Automatic setting to this least congested channel.

Mine is around 40 to 50, a picture in my post HERE showing my signal is the strongest and my neigbours which is on a nearby channel is weaker.... If it was the same signal strength I would move my HH3 wireless setting off the Automatic setting and set it to a clearer channel.
Let us know how you get on... I'm using a Win 7 laptop but have the PC running win XP upstairs and could go thru the exact log in process if you still have probs.

Do you have MacKeeper installed? If so, you need to uninstall it. There is a known issue where MacKeeper disables all the sharing functions from the new iMovie.
Uninstall MacKeeper, then re-install iMovie.
Keep MacKeeper uninstalled.

It sounds like an issue of trying to run XI on VISTA. That combination does not work. Info on both the Acrobat full version (including sub-version) and OS would help. It might also be an issue of running 11.0.0 on a system that needs the updates to work.

Are you using wi-fi, and if so, did you check settings to make sure the button is set to "On"? Maybe during updating, it may have knocked it out of whack. As far as your music, did you back up before updating? If so, you can probably connect to iTunes and load it all back.

Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.
If not successful, try DFU mode.

Upgraded from 10.3.9 to 10.4.8 and now Logic wont open at all! Im using Logic 7.1 Everything was fine till I upgraded.... Now when I click to open Logic it never gets past the startupscreen, and then I get a message saying "Logic has unuexpectedly quit" and I get an option to either close it or restart it or report it to apple, whatever option I choose freezes Logic and I have to right click it in the dock to end the program because it is not responding. Any help is really appreciated! I have wirk I need to get done! (teaches me to upgrade in the middle of a project... what a rookie mistake!)

Firefox was set to open it its page and while changing that to google I mistyped coogle; it wont open at all now.

Email wont open at all?

I updated my phone recently and now my emails wont open at all. it goes to a blank screen with refresh and new button at the bottom then just shuts down to the home screen. All of my email accounts are set up correctly and were working fine before, heck they worked up until about a week later.

Can you start QuickTime on your computer?
You'll probably have to search for the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and use it to remove QuickTime Player and iTunes. Then download and install the iTunes again.

ITunes wont open at all since incomplete update

Tried to install latest update and rec'd an error code. Ever since then (2 days ago) itunes wont open at all. I tried to install again via the Apple website.. Still wont open. Should I uninstall and reinstall? Will my library remain stored?

Try the following:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:
