Cannot get Pro-100 to print color?

I just installed my pro-100 and ran the alligment tests, everything looked fine. I went to do a photo-print out of Lightroom 5, and it printed in B&W rather than color. I tried disabaling the profile and ensuring black and white was not checked anywhere in the Canon software, as well as LR5, and tried another print.. and again, it printed in B&W! I did a nozzle check and every color came out just fine... I have a pretty decent amount with photo printers (primarily Espon 3880&4880s), so I'm worried I'm just missing something obvious... Any thoughts/suggestions as to what could be causing this issue?

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I meant to add "experience"! Sorry, I was still messing with the printer while typing my post and I sometimes don't do so well with multitasking...How embarassing! hah!
I've been searching and searching for any area that could be checked, but still can't find anything. The only place I did not check was the software Canon inlcuded to print from, which I believe shouldn't matter as I'm printing via Lightroom only. I did not try running a print from Photoshop CC. At this point, I can't imagine having "accidentally" put anything to B&W only, as I litterally just got it hooked up, adjusted the print head, set the ICC profile to Luster, and printed a test sheet :/ It should all be defult still...
I also did sort through LightRoom and didn't see anything obvious, but I'm going to weed through all the preferance menus after trying a print from PS.

Are you actually reading the responses that people are giving you?
1. Your printer will work with Gutenprint support, possibly will work with 10.9 drivers.
2. Epson has a scanner Yosemite driver for your scanner.
3. And Wacom has a driver for your tablet.
You have no reason to be that miserable, all things considered.

Is your printer listed on this page as supporting AirPrint : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356 ?
If it doesn't support AirPrint then you could see if the printer manufacturer has their own app in the store which supports it (e.g. Epson have an iPrint app, and HP have an ePrint app). If not then there are third-party printer apps such as Print n Share and PrintCentral Pro which might work with it

Cannot get pdf file to print actual size

I recently had to reinstall my printer and now when printing PDF files I cannot get the page to print in full size. This is necessary because I am printing a pattern and the size has to be accurate. I am not even given the option anymore to be able to do this. I did have the option before the reinstall. BTW the reinstall is because the computer crashed and I had to take back to factory settings. I appreciate any help given. Thanks.

Assuming you have installed the Full Feature Software for the printer
and
Assuming that you have at least a recent version of Adobe Reader or Adobe software installed so you can download and open PDF files,
then
it may only be that the PDF print setup needs to be adjusted for the file prior to printing

How can I get my Pro-100 to print 12x12 page size? It won't let me set that size.

I use 12x12 paper for scrapbooking. Every time I set the paper size for 12x12, the printer says to choose the A3 size (11 x 16). But then there's a wide margin of white left over. How can I get the printer to print edge to edge?

You need to buy a paper trimer. Office Depot has several to choose from. Believe me and save your self a lot of headache and just get the trimmer. Print what you want on a larger size paper that the Pro-100 accepts and trim away.
Are you using a post editor like Photoshop Elements? If not I highly recommend you buy it, too. There are others, some are even free, but PSE is the best.

Elements 11 not allowing Canon Pixma Pro 100 to print

I just installed and updated a new Canon Pro 100 printer. I can print from the organizer but not the editor. I was getting a response of printer not recognized when in editor mode, no errors and pprint this organizer. It says Photoshop cannot this document.

Finally figured it out. You have to use the exact margins of what is suggested in the beginning and the image size can't go over that even if there isn't any image/text in it.

Officejet 100 wont print color

Hi all,
I've been operating my printer with just the black ink in it for a while by preference, and now that i have returned the tri-color to its slot in the printer, the printer will not print color.
When I try to use utilities it says "previously used cartridge installed: Tri-color"
when I try to print a test page that includes color, it does not print the color
when I try to calibrate the color, it says that "the calibrate color procedure is only available when both the Tri-Color Print Cartridge and the Photo Print Cartridge are installed."
Anyone know what to do? I don't want to buy a new Tri-Color Cartridge if I don't have to because I will be needing to print with only the black cartridge again after this print job.

PRO-100 margin print problem

Did a PRO-100 driver update recently (11.7.1.0) on my MacBook Air 10.9.5, and the right-side printing gets cut off when print articles on regular "letter paper". Not sure how this can be corrected? Thanks.

ebiggs1, thanks for a reply and i will tell you what i know.
1. am not real computer literate, so i probably don't know some basic things....
2. This Mac was purchased about 5 wks. ago and all i have done besides the canon printer update is update Firefox (this is the browser i use), Adobe flash p. and reader, downloaded Libre Office and Carbon Copy Cloner.
3.examples of what I print would be paragraphs in a discussion on a camera review site, or a recipe off a food website, etc., or an email i got.
4. Since writing about my problem i experimented by clicking View on the top Firefox bar and zooming out 2X (the print size has been TOO large, also) and i also checked the box on the print screen, "Ignore scaling and shrink to fit page width"... doing these 2 things seem to solve my problem, but if you have other insights i always like to learn.

Just bought an Office Pro 8500A got it all set up but, cannot get my IPhone to find the printer. I have turn off the bluetooth, loaded the lastest software on the IPhone, turned off and on the printer, router, phone, and reset the WEP secure code on the printer for my wireles router. My compac laptop print wireless. Lost.

What router? Do not use WEP, it is not in the least secure. Switch your security to WPA with a 13+ character password.

HP LaserJet Pro 100 functioned printer M175nw cleaning every night

I have a
HP LaserJet Pro 100 multifunctionele kleurenprinter M175nw. Runs fine in a wireless network.
The printer is used some times but also a week not at all. After 15 min the printer goes into sleep mode and after two hours or so the device switches off except the green standby light for receiving new wireless jobs.
Problem i have is that nearby every night the printer runs with a lot of noise, in the middle of the night. It looks like he is cleaning the drums or turning the cartridges or the drum. It SOUNDS like he is prepairing for printing but there is no job at all. After a few minutes the device stops and goes back to sleep. I am doiing it also than.
Is this a service property of this machine and can i switch it off? It takes energy and wakes me up!

I see that the printer is going into a cleaning mode in the evening and you would like to be able to turn this service off.
I can help you today.
I couldn't find any settings through the printers control panel to turn this service off.
Either turn the printer off manually or you can set the printer to power off after so many hours, through the menus.
Go to Setup, System Setup menu, (wrench button) Energy Settings, Auto Power Down, set the time.

Canon Pro-100 13x19" Prints - Images suddently printing misaligned/slanted - Please help!

Hi, I purchased a Canon Pro-100 printer about two weeks ago and I have been printing lots of 13x19 prints on Canon brand semi-gloss paper. I have successfully printed about 60 prints, but suddenly I have an issue. The images are printing misaligned/slanted on the paper, so that there is a sliver of blank paper on the bottom right and bottom left. Here is a picture of what is happening to the prints:

I have tried cleaning the bottom plate, cleaning the roller, aligning the print head both manually and automatically, but nothing is helping. When I print on 8.5x11 or 4x6 paper I do not seem to encounter this issue. Does this mean the paper is feeding unevenly for some reason? Please help!

Cannot get On 100 to get DHCP address

I have used two different network cables, 3 different network locations and factory reset device twice but cannot get it to get a DHCP address.
It boots and status 1 goes solid amber and status 2 blinks amber

The customer has both voice and data scopes defined on a single dhcp server (C2811 Router). I've managed to get the static ip configured on the ON100 agent. This was accomplished by moving the ON100 lan connection to an uplink port on the switch. Odly enough, I was able to see the ip address assignment in the dhcp pool, but the configuration on the ON100 still had the static configuration from the previous network it was moved from. I used the new dhcp assignment to log into the device and make the change. I am now having the following two problems:
1.) After moving the ON100 back to a switchport (so the pc and monitor would be in the same network surface), the ON100 is still pulling a second ip address from the voice scope, (even though the static ip is still assigned to the mac address). When I clear the entry in in dhcp cache, it reappears, leaving me with a voice and date ip for the same mac.
2.) When attempting to activate the ON100, I get the following error, could this be related to moving the unit from the lab to the customer site?

Cannot get Pages to let printer manage the color

This is actually a Pages '06 issue, but the Pages'06 discussion is closed so I could not post this question there.
I am leaving out a lot of hsitory to be as brief as possible, but I will say this much. I did have Leopard installed, but this OS X had an issue with Painter X so I removed Leopard and re-installed Tiger. There is a documented conflict with Painter X that Apple and Corel have not been able to rectify. I use Painter to put beans on the table, so I had no choice but to re-install Tiger. Whether this is the cause of my problem, I do not know. Here is my current dilemma.
All of my Pages prints use to print perfectly. Now, no matter what I do, they are flat and dull. I would like to use my ICC Color Profiles to manage my color rather than allow Pages to color manange.
To be clear all of my ink cartridges are fresh and all printer nozzles are clear. Many tests have been run on my Epson R2400 and none have shown any problems whatsoever.
What I believe may be the problem here is that in the Print / ColorSync /Color Conversion pull-down menu, 'Standard' is my only choice. 'In Printer' is the only other option, but it is grayed out, unselectable. The Pages manual states that:
'Standard: Uses the default settings in Pages ...
'In Printer: Lets the printer ... control color management ...
Does anyone know what may be a solution to making 'In Printer' selectable?? Am I overlooking something? I could almost print in Pages with my eyes closed and get perfect prints every time. But that has all changed for some reason.
Pages'08 does not even have a ColorSync option in its print menu which gives me pause to wonder, but if anyone has a suggestion about using Pages'08 and my problem, then I all ears. In addition, the Pages'08 manual does not even have printing instrctions, so this was no help either.

OK, if you are using the ICC architecture for a living, and if you have a problem with a file format / application, you need to talk to the Apple ColorSync Users List.

This is incorrect. The correct interface information is, "In Printer: Lets the PostScript interpreter control colour management". You do not have a printer with a built-in PostScript interpreter, so the system computes the colourant conversion. Hence, In Printer is grayed out.

Sure, buy an Adobe CPSI (Configureable PostScript Software Interpreter) running on a Mac server or Windows server, or but one that comes as an embedded controller in a colour printer, and you can use the command 'In Printer'.

Thankfully, since Pages should not have its own ICC API, but should be a client of the system in general and the ColorSync Utility in particular. What Pages does not have is object-level ICC source profile assignment, and object-level rendering intent settings.
You can get this, but if you make a mistake, you kill your colours. For instance, if you select Absolute Colorimetric as rendering intent, you match the white point of the source colour space into the graybalance and clip the lightness linearly to the lightness of the printing condition.
By hiding rendering intent settings, you get a fairly foolproof situation.
In addition, the Pages'08 manual does not even have printing instrctions, so this was no help either.
Printing instructions are the property of the printer manufacturer who plugs a printer driver into the system. What you can argue, and many would agree, is that configuration of the ColorSync Utility and the Display control panel is underdocumented. But that in itself is a bit of a job.
