once I setup the router .. i tried to get back into setup pgm and I couldn't get to any of the options. I did not enable any any special securityoptions just took the defaults on the install

You might have installed the Cisco connect software on your main computer. Open the Cisco connect software. Click on Router settings and go to Advanced settings. It will open the setup page of the router.
If you have not installed the Cisco connect software on the computer then you can try to open the setup page using the default IP address of the router. Connect the computer to the Ethernet port on the router. Check the IP address and default gateway of the computer. Default gateway is the IP address of the router. The default IP address of E2000 router is 192.168.1.1.
Open the internet browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.1. Log in to the router setup page.

It is an eMac. I have a corrupted font book. How can I fix/re-install/or download a new font book app? Most fonts that were in it work, some do not, but I cannot open it nor can I install fonts into it. This happened after the eMac OS was upgraded from 10.3.9 to 10.4.11 and AI was upgraded to CS2

I tried it again using "save link as", and this time it actually worked! I just now downloaded several more using the "save link as" option, and it works perfectly. Thanks. Problem solved.

Cannot get past setup. WebOS Dr not working

Hello everyone.
I am ready to get my money back on this thing so this is my last attempt to get it working.
About me: 30 years of computer knowledge so I know how to follow directions.
Tried 4 of the 5T's several times, but cannot get WebOS doctor to run
Cannot get past setup on the touchpad so I don't know my webOS version
Have read every troubleshooting guide I can find
No WebOS account because I cannot get that far.
Been working on this for 3 days
My setup:
Windows 7 x64 sp1
Java 1.7
4GB ram
500GB HDD
Found a link to WebOS Dr without an account form tis forum, but it would not run. Got error MSVCR100.dll missing. Got the file and put it in systemWOWx64. File was alrady in systemx86. Also put in folder with WebOs Dr app.
No error, but no joy either. Then read another post that sent me to

Donloaded latest version 3.0.5 WIFI omly. Don't know my actual WebOs version because I can't get past setup.
What happens on setup:
Selcet language = ok
select network = ok
enter network key = ok
load User agreement = never happens becaue after about 10 minutes I get "server Error" that takes me back to the begining. I have done this process about 30+ times.
Also, must note the toughpad takes 5-6 minutes just to come on. The longest I have ever waited for anything to boot up.
Update: Contacted seller, WebOS ver. 3.0, 32GB Touchpad

I think this might be your problem. Java 7 is only a developer preview right now and not ready for mass consumption yet (info about that is here: http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/java7.xml) Any chance you can try using the latest version of Java 1.6 and run webOS Doctor again?
Also, the webOS Doctor file should be a .jar and not a .rar. Some browsers have been known to mix up the extension so try heading to http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/WebOS_Doctor_Versions, finding the version for your product, and right-clicking + selecting "Save As..."

Use Disk Utility whihc is in the Utilities Folder.
Select your Boot Disk on the left.
Select Verify Permissions
If any errors the do Reapir permissions.
You might have to repeat the process.

The issue here is that AirPort Utility in Mountain Lion 10.8.x will no longer support the older versions of the Express.
If you have been thinking of adding a newer faster AirPort Express, now would be a very good time to do this.
If you want to continue to use the older Express, there is a special workaround that will allow you to install a version of AirPort Utility on Mountain Lion that can be used with your Express.

You need to connect to iTunes on a computer to update. Direct updates were enabled with IOS 5. I hope you were maintaining a backup of your computer. If you attempt to sync with a new one without transferring content first then all will be erased.
You also need to update the Apple tv to version 5.0.2 (4.4 being the minimum for mirroring support)

Cannot get to startup menu options

I bought a used HP Pavilion g6 series notebook, but turned out that it has a password, so I created a CD to overpass it, the thing is that cd is not stating by it self on startup, so I tried to go through the startup menu and change Boot device options, and here was the problem !! I have to press F9 to Access it but its not working , I tried all other options on the startup menu but nothing is working. What can I do !! pls help, I'm not an expert and don't understand big words, so pls take it easy on me when you answer : ) .

Cannot get to advanced options on Airport Extreme

My new Airport Extreme is connected to my new MacBook Air and I have an internet connection. I'd like to get to the advanced options as described on page 24 of the Airport Extreme instruction booklet but have not been able to do so.
It says "Choose the wireless network you want to change. On a Mac, use the Airport status menu in the menu bar." I don't know what that means.
I have the Airport Utility running. It shows the internet and the Airport Extreme. I highlight the Airport Extreme graphic and click Base Station in the menu bar, but it does not show Manual Setup as an option, as it seems it should.
By the way, there's a red circle with a "1" in it next to the Airport Extreme graphic. What does that mean?

It sounds like you are using version 6.0 of the AirPort Utility. The instructions on page 24 are actually referring to the 5.x version of this utility. You can download the lasted (5.6) here.
Please try those instructions again after using the 5.6 version. If you still have issues or questions, please post back.

Datastore Export "Advanced" Options Button grayed out

We're trying to export a job from a Development repository to a QA repository using the DataServices Designer from BusinessObjects DataServices 4.2 SP1. When we get to the Datasotre Export Options screen, I need to get to the advanced options, but the "Advanced" button is grayed out. Is there some setting to make this button available? Or is there perhaps a permission that I can assign to make it available?
We're using MSSQL 2012 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise.

Hi Mary Moon,
You can change the owner of the table or the connection properties of the datastore using advance button but I am not sure if this is really required to be enabled in case of SQL Server. Technical Manual does not say anything specific related to databases. I assume that since we are passing the connection details while exporting and the only thing might change is the Owner of a table which can be done manually as well.
