See if the iPad will accept the password after you restart it. It's worth a try.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You could also try a reset as well.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

When I download videos (from an external hard drive), they appear to be downloaded (file sizes look correct) but they all stop playing a few minutes in!

And what happens if you play the files directly of the external drive?

For the last 3 days my yahoo mail account hasn't been receiving new mail on my iPad - and won't let me send. However I am getting Facebook updates on my iPad, and can get yahoo mail updates on my Samsung android phone. Does anyone know what's happened? Sure it's something simple, but I am like an old nanna with technology and need help please?!!! Thanks.

Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I cannot get epson workforce to work correctly on imac mountain lion

I have not been able to get the epson workforce to work on imac mountain lion. I first tried using the epson software.
Then read that I should do it from the mac's " printer/scan".
Unfortunately when I get to the screen that says --add printer--- i cannot get workforce to appear.
Can anyone walk me through it?
I have it connected to my netgear wireless router which is recognizing it on their management page?

Cannot get Yahoo email with the built-in email app from within my company's network

Hello,
From within my company's network, I can get Yahoo email if I use the Yahoo email app but not if I use the iPhone built-in email app (iPhone 5 and iPad 4 both running iOS 7.1.2). Any idea what may be going on?
Could it be that the two apps use different ports to get email (and one port happens to be blocked by the company's firewall/proxy)? If yes, anyone knows what these ports may be?

That's entirely possible. Talk to your IT department about it. Attempting to bypass their security and potentially violating their security policy may not be good for your career.

Cannot get NDES working on Server 2012 R2 at all.

I absolutely cannot get this to work. I simply cannot figure out what I am either doing wrong or missing.
Neither site works and in the event log I get the following:
The Network Device Enrollment Service cannot retrieve one of its required certificates (0x80070057).
The Network Device Enrollment Service cannot be started (0x80070057).
It seems like I've read every site on this and tried everything but simply cant make it work. Have not tried on 2008 r2. Below is what I have done if someone can help me I would be grateful.
I tried adding more permissions than needed on local machine certs, templates, and domain level as well
Tried the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2800975 where you move the ExtensionlessUrlHandler-ISAPI-4.0_64bit below
the static file.
I tried using and not using the use local profile in IIS for the SCEP pool
Both the ndesservice acccount and admin account have full control on everything.

TS3991 I have restored my mini i pad after it would not let me get in and I cannot get to the settings or general settings at all I cannot get into my i pad at all what do I need to do?

I was in the general settings on my ipad a couple of days ago and when I signed out and wanted to come back on i could not get into my pad at all I have changed the id and password three times and i still cannot get into the pad. Is the general setting keeping me out? I put the passcode in and I still cannot gaet in, is the passcode my password if so why can I not get in?

Cannot get APEX_ITEM.POPUP_FROM_LOV to display correct values

I am using APEX 2.2.x. I created a report region in which the underlying report query looks like:

Here, the LOV 'DN' is defined as:

This report renders correctly. After setting my three ID columns from the query
to "No Show", the results display as 3 columns:
Remove Key Dn
"Remove" is a checkbox, "Key" is a simple input text field, and "Dn" is a popup
field.
My problem is that, when the selecting from the "Dn" popup, I get the "phone_id" value instead of the "phone_number".
Does anyone know why this is happening?

I'm facing a deadline at work, and so, am burning the midnight oil to get my APEX project done. I'll try to post my issue on apex.oracle.com - just can't right now.
I'm going to try a different tack.
The problem I reported in this post stems from my using the APEX_ITEM API to
create text items, checkboxes, and a single popup field in a report region.
However, what I'm ultimately trying to accomplish is a form (not a report) in which users can edit multiple rows and then submit their multiple row edits
with one click of the APPLY button.
So, you might be thinking, why did I not just create a form based on a table.
The reason is that I did not have a table to work with. I needed to have a
form in which EXACTLY 10 rows (no more, no less) appear. Of these,
there might be up 10 rows that actually have data whereas the remaining
rows consist of all NULL columns.
And so, I created a "pivot" table function that generates "missing rows".
This works fine in a report query. But I could not find a way to use this
pivot table function as part of an Oracle view against which I could point
the APEX "Create Form On Table/View" option. This is why I tried to
create a report region rather than a form and then use the APEX_ITEM API
to create the text, checkbox, and popup fields I mentioned above. It's just
the popup field that's giving me all the trouble.
I'm going to try to create a different method of generating "missing rows" so as
to get an Oracle view that consists of exactly 10 rows (of which up to 10 have
actual data and the remaining rows consist of all NULL columns). I'll then make
a view out this (as mentioned, I was unable to create this view using the pivot
table function) and then try to create a form via APEX. Hopefully, this will
eliminate the popup problem I'm having.

I need help! I bought an external drive to backup the computer. but although the computer recognizes it (shows up on the right side with the icon - mybook3.0 - I cannot get time machine to look for a hard disc - it only wants to use airport!

I want to use time machine. So, I got a mybook3.0 and hooked it up. the computer recognizes it fine (shows the icon on the desktop etc) but time machine refuses to look for any hard disk, going on airport instead and refusing to let me select anything or do anything manually (buttons are not clickable - and anyway, no HD at all shows)
I'm getting frustrated!!

Just to clarify - when you run Disk Utility (in your Utilities folder) the drive you bought doesn't show up in the window under your boot drive?
If it appears on your desktop, you should see it in the Disk Utility window as this displays all mounted drives.
You then click on the drive (Mybook3.0 or whatever it appears as), and choose Erase from the options on the right.

Cannot get Yahoo mail since updating ios on 2/2

updated on 2/2, mail was ok for about 15 hours, then nothing. when I go into Yahoo mailbox it says "connecting".....then reverts to "Updated Tuesday". My mailbox is empty, bc I already tried to delete my Yahoo account and reinstall. Also tried shutting phone down.
PLEASE help if possible ~~ YES, I can get mail on the Yahoo App, but I don't like it

Why would you delete your iCloud account for a password change with your Yahoo account?
Regardless, if no problem re-creating your iCloud account on your iPad, contact Yahoo technical support.

Was working a couple weeks ago and since then cannot connect. Is there a fix on this shortly as my Playbook is useless now.

Need Help! Cannot get SourceControl3.1 to work correctly.

We are using RH8. We have a project that needs updating to be current with newest software release. There is a project manager in the home office and a technical writer working remotely in another state. Our IT staff followed all the steps listed on setting up the SourceControl and this is what is occurring:
I've tried it both as file system and as full embedded database solution. For files based solution I did create a history path. This is what I was working on Friday. I had to set up another test machine here with RoboHelp in order to test it. Same problem. I can check out from either machine and checkin in. However the changes never get propagated to the other instance, even if you do a Get All.
Not sure if this is related, but the open project from Source Control does not work from within Robo Help 8 either. When I try to open a project that way, it just sits there on the open file dialog box. From what the tutorial showed, it should start downloading the files and then you select the project file to open.
Here's a sample screen shot.
I setup a brand new test database and project
This one is using embedded database, not stored as files.

Checked in ALL files
Open project on other machine and get all files
Changes not reflected

Here it is in the project directory... note the mod dates... the file is not updated.
