Cannot hear ringtone through Bluetooth

Hello,
I just purchased my 8220 and am in the process of setting everything up and I have found that when an incoming call comes in I cannot hear the ringtone through my Bluetooth. The phone I switched from is a Motorola W490, I have T-Mobile as a provider, and it did work that way with the old phone. Is there some setting I am not finding?

Using my wired headset that came with the device, I get no tones or sounds through the ear phones, just silence. When listening to music, the music stops and there's just silence while the ringing happens. This silence sometimes sounds like the song ended, so I don't always realize I'm getting a call.
I'm surprised that the so called "EXPERTS' monitoring this site have not responded on this subject yet.

usb does not carry audio at all it's a serial digital bus
things one connect to usb which play audio act the role of being usb audio cards only 1 audio card can be active at the time so if you connect an usb audio card the internal audio card is muted
this cause your headset to be muted
disconnect the usb audio card and you will be able to use your headset
if you wish to use a headset an an usb audio card at the same time the headset needs to be connected to the usb audio card

There are quite a few posts about the same sound issues so the best thing to do is to do a search here for something like "no sound in headphones in Windows" or something similar and try the one that fits your problem.
Basically you have to enable them in the sound Control Panel, re-install just the Boot Camp sound drivers manually or possibly down load the sound drivers for your hardware (your sound card) from the manufacturer directly.

Sharing ringtones through bluetooth

I was wondering if the iphone 3G-S or the new iphone 4 would allow you to pair up to another phone and share ringtones through bluetooth. I was wondering if we could share ringtones, if she could send me ringtones from her phone? I have the iphone 3G and have paired up or "discovered and saved" my friends phone in devices. With the iphone 3G we are not able to share ringtones.

Sorry but no, at least not at this time. Bluetooth is only supported for headsets and car hands-free systems and I've seen nothing to indicate that things will be different in the iPhone 4 or with the new version of the OS.

Ringtone through bluetooth headset

Hello!
I switched to BB Passport from iPhone a couple of weeks ago. One of the most irritating features of Passport (and the whole BBOS10, I guess), which I have discovered so far, is inability to play the ringtone through my Plantronics Voyager Legend BT headset.
While iPhone was able to play it flawlessly, with the Passport my BT just plays its default "beepy-squicky" melody into my ear instead of the ringtone, which is set on Passport.
Is there any workaround to this situation? I want to hear ringtones in my BT headset, which is A2DP- and AVRCP-enabled.

i have a 6233, which is one of nokia's latest, and through my experience it rings through the headset as well as through the phone's speakers. does the same for text messages too. the only time it rings through the headset only was when it's on silent.

Ever since i downloaded Itunes I cannot hear my music through my headphones only speakers and all my audio i download or add to my laptop goes through Itunes what do I do ????

If they don't help, it's likely to be an issue that means the iPod needs repair.
Is it still under warranty?

Cannot hear music through bose minisoundlink from ipad mini

MY ipad mini is connected to my bose minisoundlink via bluetooth, could hear music fine yesterday, now i cannot hear the music , when it pairs with the bose, i cannot hear the music . Just bought the bose last week, worked fine until this morning, tried resetting by pressing on mute button. Does any one know how to fix this.

Cannot hear music through my BH-111

I have one BH-111, and I always use it to listen music.
From this morning, I only can use it to answer phone calls. i still can operator all functions (e.g. Play/Pause music, Fast forward, Back forward), but i just cannot hear anything from my headset.
But it is okay if i plug my headset to phone directly, not via BH-111. so i can say there is no problem with my headset, it should be something wrong with my BH-111. Please help~

Ipod touch cannot hear music through headphones

ipod touch 8gb cannot hear via headphones. All else seems to be working fine. Have tried several pairs of headphones with same problem....how can i fix this?

Try #2 and #3 in link below. If neither work, you most likely have a hardware issue.

Fascinate Headset (jack or Bluetooth) - cannot hear notifications through headset

I have tried a jack and Bluetooth (Samsung HM1100) headset but neither one will 'play' notifications through the headset. The notifications I am referring to are new text message, email, calendar events. These notifications will play through the phone speaker when the headset is connected. The phone features work normally through the headset - incoming call, listening and talking, and Nuance voice. I have tried the completely inserted thing. Samsung thought it was downloaded market applications and suggested a hard reset. Any suggestions?

After changing everything to max we still can barely hear our ringtone! It was loud before and now today it is quite cannot understand why this is or what to do! If any one has any answers I would appreciate it. Thank you

Cannot hear sound through headphones when running mainstage- Mackie 1220i interface

I am currently running Logic Studio with my MacBook Pro with a Mackie 1220i mixer/interface. I can hear the processed sound fine on the mic channel and the guitar channel when the headphones are plugged into the mixer but I get no sound when the headphones are plugged into the MacBook Pro. I am trying to set up a concert in Mainstage. Suggestions?

Cannot purchase ringtones through iTunes

For some reason iTunes will not let me purchase ringtones any longer. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It syncs fine with my iPhone and everything else seems to be working fine. I'm able to create a customized ringtone then when I hit the buy button nothing happens.
I guess Apple doesn't want my money...
If I would delete and then reinstall iTunes will I lose all the songs, movies, applications and everything else?

I have the same exact problem. I have even purchased a ringtone on Itunes from my phone. It went through and I got the email confirmation, bt it only shows up in my Ipod part of the IPhone. Nowhere does it show up in my ringtones. With all of this technology and money being charged, I should atleast be able to get a live person to fix the proble. Does anybody know how to help? When you go to the song to report the problem, nothing happens there either. I am confussed??? Love the phone though:-)
