Cannot import into iPad keynote

Greetings everyone; I have MS Office 2008 and iWork '09 on my MacBook Pro with the latest iTunes and Mac OS X 10.6.4. For some reason, files will not copy from my iTunes keynote file list onto my iPad. I have seven PowerPoint presentations to load on my iPad, but they just won't go over. I tried saving them as .key files in Keynote on my MBP and importing them to iPad Keynote, but that also doesn't work. I was able to copy over .ppt files and open them in iPad Keynote before, but now nothing works, not even importing .key files. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, please let me know.

1) I have contacted Verizon and they are not blocking "premium" or 3rd party text messages.
2) The Apple ID login issue occurs regardless of wi-fi network location, or even if I am not on wi-fi at all. Router settings are irrelevant to this problem.
3) I have already played around extensively with date and time settings. This did not fix any issues.
Any other suggestions? I had another call with Apple support and they are of the opinion that I may need to have the phone totally replaced, which is unacceptable unless it is free of charge.

When importing iPad photos into Aperture, I cannot import into an existing album, only create a new project.

I dont want to create a new project for every group of photos being brought over from my iPad. My iPhone worked perfectly. I was able to choose which project/album I could import into, why would the iPad, running the same iOS, be any different?

That's a loaded question. It's not "yes or no" according to exactly how you asked it.
You do not have to create a new project for each import, but every picture lives in exactly 1 project. You can then point to any photo from any number of albums. You cannot put a photo directly into an album because an album does not contain photos, it only contains "pointers" to photos.
So, you, as the user, have the ability to put your imports into an existing project. Why are you creating a new project every time?

Word Document only partially imports into iPad Pages

When I import pages from word documents my dropbox into iPad Pages only the first page imports. The rest is blank. This does not happen with QuickOffice, but I prefer to use Pages as QuickOffice is prone to crashes! Can anyone help me with this?

Symptom :
When embedding a pdf document into a Crystal Report, only the one page shows.
Reproducing the Issue
Environment:
Crystal Reports OLE object
Cause
An OLE object only displays the first page.
Resolution
Embed multiple objects, one for each page
Or
Use a hyperlink to the object instead

I cannot import music into my iTunes as when i try it says i don't have access but i have checked my media folder and i have the permissions to import?

Don't try to import into the actual media folder. Drag songs into the Music window in the iTunes application, that way they get imported and indexed. Note that the file must be in one of the formats listed here:

Keynote 6 cannot import the old Keynote 4 (2008) files, please help

Dear all,
I notice that Keynote 6 (current) cannot import files created with the old Keynote 4 (2008).
On the other hand, Keynote 4 is obsolete and I no longer trust it for mefdion/long term use.
I have >100 critical files, yet using simple functions (no audio/video/animations).
I prefer not to insytall Keynote 5, think about the mess of having 3 KN versions installed.
Does anybody know a workaround?

The current consensus is to use Keynote 5.3 (iWork 09) for files created with previous versions of Keynote as older files do not open successfully in 6.1. New presentations can then be created in 6.1 if you want to use it.
I suggest you obtain iWork 09, available from Amazon and Ebay, and you can remove version 4.

Do these albums on the iPad have the cloud icon next to them? If they do, they are albums that you have previously purchased from iTunes. You can remove them from the Music app by going to Settings>iTunes &App Store>Show All>Music>Off.

Cannot import from iPad (in any application)

We can no longer import photos from my wife's iPad from iPhoto, Aperture or Image Capture. I've tried on two different computers, one running the most recent version of Mountain Lion, the other Mavericks with the most recent updates to Aperture and iPhoto. She usually uses iPhoto (pre-Mavericks release) on a iMac running Mountain Lion, but the issue is exactly the same on either computer, across all 3 applications so we have narrowed the issue down to the iPad, not Mac preferences or application issues.
Status:
iTunes - There are 468 photos as indicated in iTunes; all other SW udpates and syncing seems to work.
iPhoto - Permanently stuck on "loading", same issue on both computers, both versions of iPhoto. See screenshot.
Aperture - iPad shows ups, photos never load, never able to import. See screenshot
Image Capture - Same as above. See screenshot.
Steps taken on 1 or both machines
Updating iPad from iOS 7 to 7.0.3, no change (we think issue began before iOS 7 but cannot verify).
Updated Mountain Lion to most recent version on iMac, no change.
Created new libraries on both computers, no change.
Too many restarts of iPad and computers to count.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are heading on vacation in the morning and my wife was hoping to use the iPad to store photos from her camera.

I use a Canon LiDE 110 scanner with the same problem.
After scanning, the PDF file appears on the desktop, but when I open it with Preview, the document is blank.
However, I can open it with Adobe Reader just fine.

Number files imported into iPad balloon in size when exported.

I know this is my first post to this forum. I have merely been a voyeur here for many years up until now. This has been my go to place for solutions over time and I have never been disappointed. I have d many threads relating to my problem majority are a dead end, meaning no replies, or they don't have a solution.
Still I'm stumped: When I load a spreadsheet created on my Mac into Numbers for iPad and make a minor change, the file becomes huge. For example, a 172kB Mac created spreadsheet becomes a 1.2gB Numbers file. The same happens with a Pgaes file (2kB becomes over 370!)
This just doesn't seem right. If anyone has any insight I would appreciate hearing from you.

Cannot import into iMovie from iDVD

I have started to save my movies from my Sony Camera onto DVD using iDVD OneStep. But now I have discovered that I cannot use these DVD's to import the into iMovie.
Am I doing something wrong?

probably you misunderstand the concept and workflow of the diff. iLife apps:
iDVD is the Disk Maker of iLife. no editor, no Movie Maker (allthough you're allowed to do basic things as slideshows etc...)
for editing, you have to import from camera via iMovie..
when editing is done, you share to iDVD, which finally produces the disks.. end of the road.
