Cannot install any apps onto iPhone5

Hi
Just got my iphone5... for some reason I can't install any apps.  I am going to the app store and have clicked to INSTALL Twitter (which I had previously downloaded).  It shoots me out to the home screen, but it just sits on WAITING and never actually installs.  I have let it sit overnight on this, and have retried tons of times by deleting the app and trying again.
I have also tried doing this for appz that I had not previously bought/installed to see if it was an issue with prebought stuff... nope same thing.
any help!?
noticing lots of weird behaviour on this phone... iTunes Match doesn't work or download things properly either.

I think I figured this one out...
Basically I got frustrated so did a system reset and there were no issues, however it started happening again.  I believe the iPhone is limited by the number of simultaneous downloads it can do....
so in this case, I was downloading a bunch of playlists from iTunes match onto my phone, and basically I think the app updates are getting sent to the back of the queue.  It literally takes hours to download the list of songs I had so I think that's why it was appearing to "stall" but in reality, just at the end of a long list

    I have a 4S and upgraded to iOS 6 last week without any issues.
    Have you tried resetting your phone (hold the power and home buttons down together until the silver apple appears)?

    : I have recently purchased a iBook G4 Mac OS X VERSION 10.5.6 and I  cannot install any apps such as firefox, adobe reader, it reads you cannot install this file on this disk

    Are you saying the iBook G4 you have is running OS X 10.5.6?
    The next file to get for it would be the Combo update 10.5.8 for Leopard.
    And any old archived Flash player for 10.5.8 from Adobe flash site.
    A browser such as TenFourFox, iCab, SeaMonkey-PPC, these are OK
    but you won't be able to go past Leopard 10.5(.8) in a PowerPC Mac.
    All these are free bits, however anything past 10.5.8 Mac OS X
    would require a newer Mac with Intel-based architecture. Macs
    made in 2006+ can see later OS X versions.
    Good luck & happy computing!

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

  • My iPad 1 cannot install any apps from apple store even though it has been updated to ios 5.1.1 which is better than 4.3 that is required by most of the apps in apple store. I reset factory settings but still to no avail I cannot install any apps.

    MY iPad 1 cannot install any apps

    A lot of apps have current versions that require higher iOS versions than 5.1.1
    But some developers allow you to download older compatible versions of their apps. If the app is free then try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that it's in your account's 'purchase' history, and then in the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad see if you can download an older compatible version of the app. If the app is paid-for then try contacting the developer first and see if that will work with their app (and if they have a version compatible with iOS 5.1.1 available) - don't buy the app until you know that it will work.
    There is also this page for finding current apps that require iOS 5.1.1 or lower : https://sites.google.com/site/appleclubfhs/support/advice-and-articles/finding-a pps-for-older-devices#5.1.1

  • Cannot install any apps from Creative Cloud in corporate environment.  Suspsected Firewall issues.

    Hello all.
    I subscribed successfully and easily to CC on my home PC (iMac) and downloaded a few apps.  All is fine.
    I wanted to download those same few apps on a remove machine I use several times a week (Win 7).
    After many many attempts of trying to download CC and getting a generic error message, I learned it could be a firewall issue here at this work/office. I found this in Adobe's forums:
    Many organizations use a hardware firewall and proxy server that can prevent software from accessing an FTP server. A hardware solution applies to all computers within the corporate network. Most home networks do not use hardware firewall or proxy technology.
    Contact your company's IT department to obtain firewall or proxy information.
    Configure your browser with proxy or firewall information.
    Configure your corporate firewall to by-pass the servers. The following servers are accessed:
    ccmdl.adobe.com:80
    swupmf.adobe.com:80
    swupdl.adobe.com:80
    Having nothing to loose, I put in a request and had these addresses/ports opened up in our firewall.  That seems to partially fix the problem.
    Now the problem is the speed and traffic is so terribly slow with CC that nothing installs with out failing and giving error. For example, I am trying to install PhotoShop CC and it will take a couple of HOURS to even get to 10% and then it fails.  Usually, it doesn't get that far.  CC just gives me the generic message:
    "Installation Failed - Learn More."
    Download error.  Press Retry to try again or contact customer support.(-7).
    Our network admins swear that there is nothing wrong with the ports/firewall and yet all this works fine at my home.  Can anyone offer any suggestions or advice?  My internet connection here is fine.  All other sites load and work fine.  I simply cannot download any of the CC aps here with any reasonable speed.
    Help!
    PS - The URLs and ports ping just fine.

    Hi RedBirdOBX1,
    I'd recommend checking out the two pdf documents in the

  • Cannot Install Multimedia Apps onto MacBook Pro from CS4 Master Collection

    I am trying to install the Master Collection to my MacBook Pro.
    It has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor 2.2GHz
    2GB RAM
    Mac OS 10.5.6
    20GB hard drive space free
    I am installing from a Master Collection license. The serial number is accepted, but when I go to select the components to install, all of the multimedia apps are grayed out. So no After Effects and no Premiere.
    I deselected all other options, and they still aren't available to install.
    Am I doing something wrong, or is this MacBook Pro underpowered?
    Help! Thanks...

    Thanks Rob. Let me break it down:
    * Multicore Intel® processor
    --Yes, it's a Intel Core 2 Duo processor 2.2GHz
    * Mac OS X v10.4.1110.5.4
    --Well, it's 10.5.6 but I don't know if that's causing a problem or if adobe just hasn't updated their spec page. I suspect the latter since it will allow me to install all non-AV applications.
    * Java Runtime Environment 1.5
    --Yes... up to 1.6.0
    * 2GB of RAM
    --Yes
    * 26.3GB of available hard-disk space for installation
    --Yes, although the spec page on the web site for Premiere has a lower value of only 10GB.
    * 1,280x900 display with OpenGL 2.0compatible graphics card
    --Yes. 1440 x 900
    --Graphics card is NVIDIA 8600M GT
    --NVIDIA's site says "Full OpenGL® support, including OpenGL 2.1"
    * Some GPU-accelerated features require graphics support for Shader
    Model 3.0
    --Really shouldn't stop the install, but would not know where to look for this.
    * Dedicated 7200 RPM hard drive for DV and HDV editing; striped
    disk array storage (RAID 0) for HD; SCSI disk subsystem preferred
    --This might be the sticking point. The drive is rated at 5400RPM. But it seems odd that this would stop the install of every AV component. Even if it did, I cannot be the first MacBook Pro user to have this problem. Would adding an external FireWire drive solve the issue? Don't know right now.
    * DVD-ROM drive (SuperDrive required for DVD creation)
    --Yes. SuperDrive
    * Blu-ray burner required for Blu-ray disc creation
    --Not applicable.
    * Core Audiocompatible sound card
    --Not sure how to check this. Wouldn't I need to have, say, "Logic" software to check this? I have listed "Intel High Definition Audio".
    * QuickTime 7.4.5 software
    --Yes. Version 7.5.5
    * Broadband Internet connection required for online services
    --I am not connected to the net during the install, but this shouldn't be the problem.
    So the only potential problem I see is the RPM of my hard drive. Would this prevent the install? Why doesn't the installer just tell me this? Can I hook up an external FireWire drive that's 7200RPM and get this to work?
    Also, could my 10.5.6 be the issue?
    All suggestions are appreciated.
