Cannot install Applications Manager

I keep getting the following error code U44M1U5. Please advise.
Thank you.
I am running the latest update for Windows 7

Are you installing a particular update or are you trying to only install the Adobe Application Manager itself?

  • Applications are updating but cannot install Application Manager?

Applications are updating but cannot install Application Manager? Each time I try to open Application manager it tries to install every time. After installing several times I was able to finally see the problem. It says it cannont install because some Adobe program is running. I donot see anything Adobe running except for Application Manager in TaskManager.

Ok, here is what the box that comes up says:
    We've encountered the following issues:
Other instances of Adobe Application Manager are currently running which must be closed before installing this product. Please close or wait for them to complete.
I checked control panel and only see the CS6 Master suite and Adobe Help Manager listed, not the Application Manager. Before I reinstalled I used The Adobe Clean tool to remove all programs and all but this one installed fine.

  • Cannot install applications because the certificate for .... is not valid

    Hello,
We have an in house enterprise app that can no longer update.  We have taken the steps outlined here.  These steps include installing a SSL certificate on the server from a trusted CA (GeoTrust) that shows as valid in Safari on OSX.  Also the http to https redirect has been setup and verified in Safari and FireFox.  Addtionally, the plist file's XML has been manually updated to point HTTPS.  New installs work on iOS 7.1 without an issue.
However, the program has automatic updates that fail with the message "Cannot install applications because the certificate for .... is not valid".
The update process works like this:
A Plist file exists on the server that contains the version number of the build on the server.   The app will download the file and parse it into a NSDictionary then the verison into an NSString.  If the version doesn't match the current version then the user is prompted to install updates.
When the user says yes to the prompt a UIApplication is sent the Open URL message with a hard coded download URL that looks like this:
    imts-services//?action=download-manifest&url=http://www.example.com/app/Release.plist
On iOS 7.1 the user will receive the message "Cannot install applications because the certificate for example is not valid".   This error occurs even thought the certificate is valid.  It almost looks like the URL isn't respecing the redirect from the server.
Has anyone else seen this?  Is there a work around for it?  Or do I have to redeploy the app (with an HTTPS in the hard coded URL)?

kkoishi, cskimble, OS 7.1 update forced all software installation services to use the HTTPS protocol instead of HTTP. Here is Apache config that adds certificate support and code for changing links in existing *.plist files automatically: http://cases.azoft.com/how-to-fix-certificate-is-not-valid-error-on-ios-7/

I did that installation, but I still get the same message when I try to open Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Any patch need for Grid control 10.2.0.5 to install Application management

We already have ORACLE Grid Control 10.2.0.5 (X86 version) on Linux server. Due to we have EBS, We plan to install ORACLE Application Management Pack 3.0 into Grid Control 10.2.0.5.
I heard there have patch need apply to Grid Control 10.20.05 before install Application management pack into it. Anyone know which patch?
    Thanks.

when you click on the tab "Application Servers" on the far upper left site of the GridControl (right next to Hosts, Databases, ...) then
you will see of which components the Oracle Application server exists (HTTP-server, OC4J, WebCache, ...). Therefore the HTTP-server is just
part of the application server - and if the application server gets shut down it's meant that all components wil get shut down...

  • Trying to install Application Manager. HELP!

Trying to install Application Manager. Downloading... the system asks for Admin Passwd, I insert it, and then Application Manager installer just sends a message "admin previledges are required to continue instalation"... and crashes out....
    Any IDEAS pleasee???
Very disapointed with the user experience on this.... a screen that only has one button "quit" is very poor UX.

    Hi,
Looks like you're running the Adobe Application Manager directly from a network drive. Since the file is really small (less than 2 MB), please copy it to your desktop and launch it from there it will work.
We are sorry for the misleading error message, but I would like to assure you that this is already resolved in our latest version.
    Regards,

  • Error when installing Application Manager

Just purchased Creative Cloud subscription. Using Mac.  Initial step is installing new Application Manager.  When I do this the download proceeds, I am asked for my system password, then I receive the following error message: Adobe Application Manager Failed to Install.
So here's the issue that I suspect might be the cause -- I'm a developer running OSX Mountain Lion.  I know you can't support unreleased software, but, if you've got a fix for this I'd really like to have it -- otherwise I'll be paying for Creative Cloud without being able to use it until this OS is supported.
Or perhaps Mountain Lion has nothing to do with this problem and you have other solutions to try??
    Any help appreciated.
    Sandy

Thanks for the quick response.  I downloaded the full Application Manager installer and ran it.  It started and immediately gave the error message: "Installer failed to initialize.  Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."  I also viewed the package contents and ran the installer from there with the same result.  I ran Adobe Support Advisor and it said: "Inspection could not identify any issues." I'm attaching a screen shot of all the dialog windows.

  • Error downloading and installing Application Manager

I have tried to download and install the Adobe Application manager on to my desktop PC (Windows XP)
First attempt failed with an error,  and took me to the Install patch  and I now have Application Manager V7
When I try to run it, i get an error saying that Application manager download is corrupt and I need to download it again..  though it just creates the same problem

Ralphsdad which service pack do you have installed on Windows XP?  Also what other Adobe Creative software is currently installed on this computer?

  • Cannot install or manage Server 2012 R2 RDS server locally but works remotely

I am working with a Server 2012 R2 standard machine and attempting to get Remote Desktop Services installed and configured on it. Using the Add Roles and Features wizard while logged on locally to the server in question resulted in the error
“Unable to connect to the server by using Windows PowerShell remoting.” However, if I use a different Server 2012 R2 machine to run the Add Roles and Features wizard remotely targeted
at the original server then I can successfully get RDS installed.
Also, after the installation has completed I cannot manage RDS locally on the server but can successfully manage it remotely from another Server 2012 R2 box. When attempting to use Server Manager locally and choose the Remote Desktop Services menu the error
message "A Remote Desktop Services deployment does not exist in the server pool."
The server appears to be functioning correctly and can be managed remotely just not locally. I can reproduce the behavior on other Server 2012 boxes in the environment.
What would cause local install and management to fail but remote management work?

    Hi,
Have you added the RDS server under server manager ADD server? Does it show the server in server list?
Check whether there is any wrong IP address\hostname entry occurs under DNS record which looks\points the DNS entry successfully.
