Cannot install certain app

Okay, I have an Ipod 4th generation, and it will not let me install Instagram. My friend has the same ipod and she has installed Instagram just perfectly. Yes, I have installed IOS 6. Is it a common error? When I go on the app store, go to instagram, and where it said Install, I try and tap it but it wont do anything. I have the same problem with another app. Any ideas whats wrong?

Nothing? Is there no solution to my problem? Do I have no other option other than to cancel my subscription? Pirating Adobe's software would cause me a lot less hassle than this, and that's not the way it should be.

This started when I tried to install Google Earth. I tried to install the program through the app store on my phone and the installation just timed out and it told me to install it through itunes on my computer by going to Store -> check for available downloads. When I do this however, itunes says that it currently unable to connect to the itunes store and to try again later... I've been trying for a couple weeks. It says that I have 4 available downloads but I can't get any of them.
Anyone know how I can install at least google earth? Or how to make these things work? I tried just installing the app again through the app store but it says I need to download it the other way...

Google Earth is <10 MB, so you should be able to download it directly on the iPhone. I assume you checked that you have a functioning internet connection? Also, make sure that in addition to regular websites, you can successfully access secure (https) websites in your browser (iTunes uses https to send your password information to Apple). If all of that works, you might want to try the following:
1. in iTunes on your computer, select Store menu > Sign Out.
2. select Store menu > Sign in and enter your apple ID and password
3. quit iTunes
4. connect your iPhone to your computer, let iTunes autolaunch and sync your iPhone
After that, try accessing your app updates, and/or try downloading Google Earth again.

I just got my first iPad but I cannot find certain apps such as Nationwide or Wowcher. I've got them on my iPhone & my other tablet but cannot find them on my iPad apps. Any ideas please.....?

If you have them on your iPhone, enter the names in the App Store search field, when they don't appear tap iPad only at the top of the screen then tap iPhone only and see if you can install them. Not all apps work on both devices.

I am no expert but it seems that someone tried to log in as admin 2 many times using the wrong password and the entire system is "locked"
In the interest of time I would recommend re installing the os...You already spend 2 days trying to fix this..it would take you about 1 hour to reinstall

I have a 4S and upgraded to iOS 6 last week without any issues.
Have you tried resetting your phone (hold the power and home buttons down together until the silver apple appears)?

Ipod is running iOS 4.2.1 and iTunes says that my iOS is the latest available. I am unable to install certain apps due to the message that iOS xx is needed (a higher version than mine). Can I get a higher (newer) version? (my model iPod Touch is MC086LL)

Are you saying the iBook G4 you have is running OS X 10.5.6?
The next file to get for it would be the Combo update 10.5.8 for Leopard.
And any old archived Flash player for 10.5.8 from Adobe flash site.
A browser such as TenFourFox, iCab, SeaMonkey-PPC, these are OK
but you won't be able to go past Leopard 10.5(.8) in a PowerPC Mac.
All these are free bits, however anything past 10.5.8 Mac OS X
would require a newer Mac with Intel-based architecture. Macs
made in 2006+ can see later OS X versions.

As you've already repaired Visual Studio but Visual Studio still reports the error for you, we need to look into the error info:

So here we need this package "Microsoft.VCLibs.120.00.Debug"
Please do the following:
1. Check your installation that you have enabled VC++ components. If you haven't or if you are not sure of it, please check this blog:

k i went to maemoder and tried to remove hildon via restore (strange) then entered the commonds u gave but this is what i got

After upgrading iphone 5 to iOS 7, I cannot install new apps. I get the message that I must first read and agree to iTunes terms and conditions. I read the terms and conditions online, but I don't see a way to agree when I install or re-install iTunes 11.1. I can update existing apps ok, though.
Anyone have this problem and find solution?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Some apps require an iOS of 5.1.1 or higher.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.
