Cannot install CS5.5 at all
Chatted with an adobe agent and redirected me to go here instead. Please help! I want to work on my stuff.

I followed the link for the Adobe CS5.5 Creative Suite Downloads page from the adobe agent and downloaded the 2 files: .exe and the 7s.
Whenever I click on the .exe file, it tells me to try again later.
And yes I have a valid CS5.5 serial number which I verified with the adobe agents.

Cannot Install CS5 trial version on Vista 64 bit...been weeks..please help..!
I've been trying to install the CS5 for a couple of week now but cannot get it to install. I've tried lots of things I've seen in the forums but I still cannot get it to install. I'd appreciate it if someone could offer some help and direction to step me through the possible issues. I've tried uninstalling, using the cs5 cleanup utility, changing permissions on the entire Adobe folder, completely uninstalling any Adobe product, deleting all reference folders, running as administrator, etc etc but nothing works. I've turned off firewall and antivirus, closed all applications including start-up items, and still nothing.
I'll start again and list my issues and perhaps someone can help..

Can anyone help please..?Try this microsoft solution, it worked for me on Vista with SP2, 32 bit. Even though you have a 64bit system, I think this solution might well work. I spent 9 days with Adobe trying to install $1,700 software, and still they haven't given me a solution. Opened Microsoft tech support case today, and everything is now installed, CS5 and Acrobat 9 professional. Installed Acrobat 9 the same was as CS5, and installed it using the new Admintrator account.

Cannot install CS5.5 Upgrade now
Hi,
I know it's older software but I am in need of some serious help! I tried to contact support but because it's older software he said he could not help and that was the last thing he said. I really need to get this up and running and have been going through thread after thread and no real luck/success. I meet all the system requirements.
I will try to give as much detail as to what I have done up until now:
1-2 weeks ago I did an Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit to utilize 32GB RAM, language UI and BitLocker and I own Adobe CS5 MS and the CS5.5 MS Upgrade (discs).
Today I decided to install CS5.5 MS, which asked for both license numbers and then when I was asked to log in, it did NOT recognize my password. I went ahead and logged into the Adobe.com site and changed password and it still does not recognize that. So I skipped that and finished installing. I got all kinds of errors (as usual) but tried to install updates anyway, which failed. Then I decided to try and figure this out on my own.
One suggestion said to try and install CS5.5 Master Suite in Safe Mode with all but MS services turned off. Tried that and no errors but when I opened Photoshop (even tried Dreamweaver) to get to the updates, they failed.
I also read someone said all their problems went away when they went to Adobe's website and just downloaded and installed CS5.5 MS but when I did that, I put the key in and it no longer asked for my 2nd license key so I KNEW I was in trouble then. Sure enough it said it was invalid license key when I tried to do updates.
I read somewhere to download and install the Adobe Application Manager (I think it was called) but did not do it because I was unsure if it was correct or would even help.
I tried to do a installation of single items at a time, instead of doing all at once. When it said insert disc 2, it failed.
I also read to use adobe ccleaner and try again. Didn't fix the problems. Then I again uninstalled all adobe items from Programs and did a search and used the normal CCleaner and got anything I could off the system. There were still a few items left that could not be deleted. But tried installing again and it did not help.
Long story short, just before coming here, I tried again to install. Now I cannot even install disc 1, it just says it failed and a huge long list of errors and I have no clue how to get around this at this time.
I don't know if this is worth mentioning, but Adobe's website also told me where to find the ccleaner log and I went there and the log wasn't there. After doing a little bit of searching I found it in a different location, so even Adobe's site is not completely correct/clear.
3 Things:
I am not sure if I need to install something again before trying to install the CS5.5?
I am not sure how to get the sign-in to work during installation even if I do get it up and working?
I am not sure how to get updates to work if I manage to get the full suite installed?
Adobe is the only software that I have ever had trouble with and needed to ask for help to get it installed. And I have been working on this since yesterday and I am so frustrated I am half sick to my stomach; this stuff isn't cheap and I need it to continue working on my projects.
I always turn off System Restore because it often fails, but I do make a system image every so often. I suppose I could try to do a system image restore on my system, it's just I will lose some of the programs I installed, but if I could get very clear installation steps for this master suite, it might be worth it.
Oh, not to sound stupid, but I am not familiar with acronyms and nicknames for Adobe, so if you can help, please explain details to me so I can follow, otherwise I might be asking a ton of questions! LOLOkay, a few things here:
Failed to initialize installer problem. I would like to try this, but have NO clue what they mean.
But I did do this:

Only One Problem- I did not see where it said to uninstall and then reinstall software at this point. So, I ended up with more errors, but I read here: CS5.5 PP installation error that I really need to uninstall and reinstall, which explains some of the new errors:

Cannot install CS5 on 64bit os!
Hi. I dunno if this is the right section but I'll post here (move it to the right section if I'm wrong). I just got my new PC and built it.
Now comes the problem. I cannot install any of the 64bits adobe programmes. This would be After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop x64.
I get the error message "OS requirements not met" or something simlair to that.
I can START the installation (which you cannot do on 32bits OS) but then after a few seconds it stops and gives me the error message.
My rig is:
AMD Phenom II x6 1055t
Corsair 16000mhz: 8GB RAM
Gigabyte Motherboard: GA-870A-UD3
Gainward GeForce GTX 460 768mb
Samsung 500g Spinpoint 3
Samsung 1TB Spinpoint 3

And of course I'm running a 64bit os (Windows 7 Ultimate)

CS5 is original, not cracked.I can START the installation (which you cannot do on 32bits OS)
The installer is a 32bit app, so this is not a qualifying criteria. Do you correctly run as administrator/ default user? Anything going on with virus scanners, firewalls and all that? Is your hardware all listed as correctly functioning in device manager? Do you have all the latest Windows updates? Otehr Adobe software on teh system? On a whim, you could install .NET runtimes 2.5 and 3.5 or MS Visual Studio Express. Incorrect detection of the host OS often points to missing DLLs or other programs having overwritten sepcific DLLs. Running those installs should fix any such issues...

Cannot install CS5.5 (upgrade from CS3) on my new laptop
I need to install CS5.5 on my new laptop. I downloaded the installation files, but i cannot install.
My CS5.5 Design Standard is an update from an CS3 Desing Premium which i purchased some years ago.
I do have the serial of my old CS3, but unfortunaltely i lost the installation dvd
Do i first need to install CS3? Or can i just put the serial somewhere?

First question: is your CS5.5 for Windows or Mac? Is your new laptop a Windows or a Mac? You cannot use a Windows serial number to license a CS5.5 on a Mac and vice versa.
Assuming you're installing on the same platform, there's no need to re-install CS3 first.
All you need to do is install CS5.5 (the code for an upgrade version is the same as for a full version), enter your CS5.5 upgrade serial number then enter your CS3 serial number when prompted. -
Cannot Install QuickTime at all
I have a vicious round-robin going. I bout an iPod Nano. To load iTune, you need to install Quicktime 7. I used to have Quicktime until something got corrupted and I had to manually uninstall Quicktime (QT did not have an Uninstaller). When I attempt to install QT, it says that it cannot install because I have to remove an old copy of QT. I removed Quicktuime, there is no Apple folder anywhere onmy computer, and I removed all references to APPLE in my registry. I bought Norton Utilities to clean my registry and remove anything that points nowhere. There is no QT on my computer. Meanwhile, Apple offer no support for this situation - all it tells you is to contact your Tech Support Gorup. That is not support - it is avoidance. Can anyone help on how to get around this?

At the top of the CleanUp window, are there any entries without a program name? In particular, we're looking for lines in CleanUp that start with (All Users) and have no name of a program, but then give a version number in square brackets.
Do you see any of those? If so, what version numbers do they have? Precise version numbers please. (When reporting back with the version numbers, best not to include the square brackets ... the forum software automatically converts anything inside square brackets into a hyperlink. Harmless, but disconcerting if you aren't expecting it.)
(We're checking on the version numbers for lines lacking a name of a program, because if a .msi file is damaged enough, the name for it won't show up in CleanUp even though there will be an entry in the list of programs in CleanUp.) -
I cannot install ICS update(All the available updates @ Lenovo)
Hey guys I was using CM7 for a while , then i had frequent reboot problem with the CM7 ROM. Then i tried installing the ICS update version A107I0_A404_001_014_0116_US.zip
that was available at http://download.lenovo.com/slates/a1/ICS_OTA/
I couldnt install it after 75% of the installation i get a warning sign and the installation is aborted and i am taken to the recovery screen where the below options are available
Reboo now
Wipe data
Factory reset
Touch calibration.
I used the below method suggested at xda dev. Remove CWM > Flash stock recovery > Install ICS update > Flash CWM again > Wipe/Factory reset > Reboot.
But i cannot install the update as stated above. I am stuck at ICS update. Since the install failed i just see the Android boot logo after rebooting . What did i do wrong and why am i unable to install ICS update ?
I used different updates of CM7 ROMs , i get frequent reboots after a while. Please Help me out . I tried to Install CWM by putting in the internal sd card as update.zip and booted into recovery and still i get the same anrdoid logo and now CWM install . I am unable to root the tab using Superoneclick . Rooter zip doesnt work get the same prob as the above

I have recently performed a clean install of Windows 8 on my computer through the MSDNAA. However when I try to install CS5 Master Collection, the installer will not launch. I have tried a number of solutions for example running the setup in compatibility mode and running it as an administrator with no success. I would appreciate your help.

I have just purchased the student edition of Adobe Master Collection for $900 and have spent the past several days trying to install it, but to no avail. I have been trying many solutions but nothing has worked. I'm already frustrated, as I believe if I am paying this much for a product, it sure as heck had better work. I am running a HP dv6 1230us laptop, which exceeds all of the requirements of Adobe except that my screen resolution can only go up to 1366x768 - and honestly, I think that demanding 900 is complete garbage, as only 17 inch laptops can achieve that, but I do have HDMI and can connect it to an external screen if needed. I am more concerned with the payload failures that seem to be the real culprit. I realize these things happen and I should not be this frustrated, but I do not want to have to take my computer somewhere where they will charge me to install a product I already paid for. I have already tried the Adobe Log Analyzer, which basically told me nothing. Anyway this is what I get when install fails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ERROR: - Adobe InDesign CS5 Application Feature Set Files: Install failedI have just purchased the student edition of Adobe Master Collection for $900 and have spent the past several days trying to install it, but to no avail. I have been trying many solutions but nothing has worked. I'm already frustrated, as I believe if I am paying this much for a product, it sure as heck had better work. I am running a HP dv6 1230us laptop, which exceeds all of the requirements of Adobe except that my screen resolution can only go up to 1366x768 - and honestly, I think that demanding 900 is complete garbage, as only 17 inch laptops can achieve that, but I do have HDMI and can connect it to an external screen if needed. I am more concerned with the payload failures that seem to be the real culprit. I realize these things happen and I should not be this frustrated, but I do not want to have to take my computer somewhere where they will charge me to install a product I already paid for. I have already tried the Adobe Log Analyzer, which basically told me nothing. Anyway this is what I get when install fails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got a new computer. Trying to Install CS5. All I see is CS6 which I do not need nor want upgrade 2
I just got a new computer and and I have CS5 on my old computer. It was a download originally and I have the serial numbers. How do I install this on my new computer? Please advise what I can do.

Cannot install CS5 since Dreamweaver started crashing

I have had this problem for the best of this morning. When I got in the morning, Dreamweaver and Photoshop was already open (scheduled tasks on Mac), but Dreamweaver was hanging on its splash screen, and I had to Force Quit... it, also Photoshop looked fine, but I found it was also hanging.
I then proceeded to uninstall using the Application Installer, but it also hanged for quite some time, so I force quit that. I then started deleting all the CS5 programs I could see using AppZapper.
I also removed the Adobe folder inside ~/Library/Application Suppport/ and also /Library/Application Support/, and then restarted and tried running the Master Collection installer again. It hanged again.
I now have next to nothing CS5 programs on my Mac, yet I still cannot run the installer. I have checked Console and get the following errors when trying to start Application Installer:

Does anybody have any idea what to do? I must also mention that I did clean font caches last week and also moved a lot of fonts around.
Thanks in advance.I have solved this myself by cleaning the fonts cache using Font Finagler, restarting, going to Font Book & validating fonts and removing the ones with a red cross next to their name.
I also tried to disable as many duplicates as I could by going through the fonts. I did it manually as sometimes Font Book doesn't always select the one which I want to disable if you choose Resolve Duplicates from the menu bar.
I also looked at Console and saw that Marlett (font) was giving Font Book grieve, so I deleted that as well. I restarted, and opened up Application Installer. It opened after about 20 seconds.

Installing CS5 causes all Microsoft programs to fail

It seems that some updates has not been installed correctly ,please check for any failed updates from the update history (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update\View update history)
Please take the following steps to have a troubleshoot and then check for update manually again (Manually create a restore point before checking for updates):
1.If there is any third party antivirus software installed ,please turn them off temporarily .
2.Run the built-in troubelshoot tool to have a diagnostic :
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\All Categories\Windows Update
3.Clear the update cache :
net stop wuauserv
cd %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution
ren Download Download.old
net start wuauserv
After all the updates installed ,please restart the machine to make them take effect .If there is still any update installed failed, it is recommended to manually download it and install it to have a check .

I cannot install Quicktime at all.
Since the update of quicktime did not install by itself from the Software update, I downloaded it manually and tried installing it. Works fine throughout most of the install, but around 98 - 99% the install freezes and a couple of minutes after takes me to the last step of the installation and says "Installation failed, please try again"
I tried almost everything to fix this problem, and nothing seems to work (deleted components the old QT etc.), could someone please help me? Cheers in advance.
p.s because I don't have a quicktime at all (because im unable to install the older quicktime either no because of the same problem) I cant access iMovie, Skype etc. Please Help (i'm os x 10.4.11 btw)All Macs come w/2 System DVDs and the OS preinstalled - Install disc 1 and Install disc 2. Therefore, I strongly suggest that you locate your system DVDs as Install disc 1 is used for troubleshooting. Without these DVDs all you really have is a glorified doorstop when something goes wrong.
