Cannot install CS5 Master Collection in Windows 8 x64 Pro
Hi
I have recently performed a clean install of Windows 8 on my computer through the MSDNAA. However when I try to install CS5 Master Collection, the installer will not launch. I have tried a number of solutions for example running the setup in compatibility mode and running it as an administrator with no success. I would appreciate your help.

Trying to install CS5 Master Collection onto a macbook pro with no disk drive.
I would like to install my cs5 master collection onto my macbook pro, however it does not have a disk drive...instead, it's an air drive. Does anyone know if there is any way to download these applications without the disks? I attempted to contact customer service, but apparently adobe does not offer customer support for versions below CS6 (which is unbelievable to me). Thanks.

Cannot install CS6 Master Collection on windows 7 - 64 bit
As the title implies, I have several times tried installing the Master Collection - CS6 on my windows 7 - 64 bit machine at home and after a couple minutes, it simply erros out. I have even downloaded the trials for several of the applications and they too won't install. My download came directly from the Adobe Licensing site.

I have been onto support for 2.5 hours yesterday but it didnt work what they told me to do. CS6 seems to install but the last screen says that only flash builder and acrobat installed and all the others had trouble installling.
Im gonna try them again today. My error message is below....

Another case of not being able to install CS5 Master Collection
I'm running Windows 32 bit and I cannot install CS5 Master Collection. I have tried most of the fixes on this forum with no luck. I can't believe this wasn't thoroughly tested by Adobe. I have been buying Adobe products since the early Photoshop days and I have to say I'm shocked that so many are having this problem, C'mon Adobe we need a fix.
I am running Mac and as I had no problems what so ever I am wondering myself why this is the way it is?

I had my hard drive cleaned and cannot install cs6 master collection from disk. I am getting error message failed to initialize. please download adobe advisor support. I am using a pc and have windows 8. Please help.
start at the top and work your way down applying applicable fixes until your problem is resolved.

first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

I have the CS5 Master Collection for Windows, but want to convert my license to a Mac.

I tried reading up a little bit on this and saw some people said in order to do this you would also need to upgrade your product version. Unfortunately, upgrading to CS6 or joining the Cloud are your only options.
Platform swapping (Win to Mac and vIce versa) is only available to CS6 owners.

Can't install CS5 Master Collection
Hi,
I have problems installing the Adobe CS5 Master Collection on my ASUS U80V laptop. When I run the installation, the "initializing installation" window pops up. Sometimes it loads a bit and freezes there, the only way I can get past that is to restart my laptop. If I do manage to proceed past that point and get up to the "installation progress" stage, it just gets stuck at 1%, where it says it's installing "Adobe Dynamiclink Support", and it's calculating the time remaining.
I've turned off firewall and antivirus, tried moving the files to the root of C drive, and I've rebooted my laptop so many times already. I'm still getting either the freeze at the initializing stage or the freeze later at the installing progress page.
I've checked the system requirements with my computer and I should be able to install without any problems. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64, 4GB DDR2 RAM, Intel Duo T6600, and I have more than enough memory in the HD. I don't know why this is happening, please help!THE SOLUTION!!!
Try install all .MSI files
If you receive this error:
Go to regedit, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\ Components, find de Key Error, that case, DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8,
Right click in key, and click in Permissions
Click, Advanced:
Click in ADD
Click Advanced:
Click Find Now, and select de first option, Administrator, and click OK:
Select FullControl, ad clique OK.
And, click APPLY
If receive any questions, click YES.
Do IT for ALL .msi, that you received ERROR.
Done it, install ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS5 normally. -
Need to Re-install CS5 Master Collection without CD
Hi,
I purchased a student edition of CS5 Master Collection in 2010. I backed up my applications, to update my Operating system, but since re-installing the new software, I get an error code: 6. I haven't been able to find the original Master Collection Download CD, to reinstall the software. I still have the Serial #, but is there somewhere else I can re-install the software?

Install CS5 Master Collection using AAMEE and Casper Suite
Hi,
We have purchased Adobe CS5 Master Collection for Mac with a site license and I would like to use Casper Suite to distribute it. We downloaded the MasterCollection_CS5_LS1.dmg from our account but the AAMEE packager will not recognize the .dmg as a valid installer. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to create a distribution for Casper? I have read the "Simplifying Adobe CS5 Administration with the Casper Suite" guide and the AAMEE version 2.0.242.0 guide. Do I need to obtain a .pkg file to use with the AAMEE package creator?
Thanks for any help.Problem solved. I finally realized I needed to extract/drag the Adobe CS5 Master Collection applications from the downloaded .dmg to a folder. Then AAMEE packager program was able to recognize the applications.

Installing CS5 Master Collection
First of all I would like to thank Mr. Bill Hunt and others for helping me.
I am going to receive my CS5 Master Collection by tomorrow. I am currently running the Trial Version.
Is it better to uninstall all the Trial version, and my older Adobe products, and Start with a Fresh Installation of CS5 Master Collection.
< OR > apply the S/N Number from the Master Collection into the Trial version.
Thanks.You should be able to simply activate with the serial number. Once you launch, you'll be told that we need to download the protected content and that you'll need to restart. After that, you should be good to go.
If for any reason you have to reinstall after that, remember to deactivate first. -
Loading CS5 Master Collection onto new Macbook Pro with no DVD drive
I have a complete, legitimate, registered version of CS5 Master Collection. I also have a new Macbook Pro with no DVD drive. I have lost the disk, but have the box and confirmation email when I registered the product, with the key code. This product cost alot of money and I really need to get it onto my new machine. Can I do this without having the additional cost of a new DVD drive? I already paid for and own the software with keys so it's not like I'm trying to bend anything or do it for free. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

Can't install CS5 Master collection engl Win 7 64- bits
I've downloaded the trial (no problems) and went installing.
After only 3% the installation is shut down (exit code 7) with an impressive error log of 12 fatal errors, 144 errors and 135 warnings.
Am running English (IE) Win7 64-bit (no additioanl language packs installed), quad core 3,23 GHZ, 8 GB RAM, 2* 1024 MB ATI HD5770 graficcards (crossfire enabled) the computer is actually just a few days old, all updates installed. The installation is run as administrator.
I tried installing the Microsoft VC80 and 90 files (in payload) - no result, it did not matter if I just ran the trial installation or provided a license code (genuine).
Any ideas?

Done it, install ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS5 normally. -
I have just purchased the student edition of Adobe Master Collection for $900 and have spent the past several days trying to install it, but to no avail. I have been trying many solutions but nothing has worked. I'm already frustrated, as I believe if I am paying this much for a product, it sure as heck had better work. I am running a HP dv6 1230us laptop, which exceeds all of the requirements of Adobe except that my screen resolution can only go up to 1366x768 - and honestly, I think that demanding 900 is complete garbage, as only 17 inch laptops can achieve that, but I do have HDMI and can connect it to an external screen if needed. I am more concerned with the payload failures that seem to be the real culprit. I realize these things happen and I should not be this frustrated, but I do not want to have to take my computer somewhere where they will charge me to install a product I already paid for. I have already tried the Adobe Log Analyzer, which basically told me nothing. Anyway this is what I get when install fails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying many solutions but nothing has worked. I'm already frustrated, as I believe if I am paying this much for a product, it sure as heck had better work. I am running a HP dv6 1230us laptop, which exceeds all of the requirements of Adobe except that my screen resolution can only go up to 1366x768 - and honestly, I think that demanding 900 is complete garbage, as only 17 inch laptops can achieve that, but I do have HDMI and can connect it to an external screen if needed. I am more concerned with the payload failures that seem to be the real culprit. I realize these things happen and I should not be this frustrated, but I do not want to have to take my computer somewhere where they will charge me to install a product I already paid for. I have already tried the Adobe Log Analyzer, which basically told me nothing. Anyway this is what I get when install fails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to install CS5 Master Collection, No Product Code In Box

I purchased my copy of CS5 Master Suite several months ago from Academic Superstore. I did not install it right away because of issues with my laptop(MacBook Pro mid/late 2009). Yesterday I tried to install the software but was unable to. On the outside of the box is a sticker saying that I have to fill out and send in the enclosed educational form to get my serial number. First problem, there is no form inside the packaging. I was able to speak with an Adobe representative today via their support chat and was told to give them the product number and they could give me my serial number. Second problem, there is no product number in the package. I have been looking through all of my paper work trying to find this product number incase I may have inadvertently placed it some place other then with the CS5 packaging, but I doubt it. I feel completly lost here. If anyone should have any idea as to what I should do I would appreciate your help.
StephanThere is absolutely nothing anyone here can do. The only advice I have for you is to go through every single thing in the box.
Remove the disks and all the packaging and go through it all.
BTW, you can install it in demo mode and it will run for 30 days without a serial number.

Unable to install CS6 master collection for mac book pro(late 2011)
Recently, I have successfully downloaded Adobe creative suite CS6 master collection for MAC.
However, I am unable to install it. After opening the installer nothing happens, it does not proceed further. I have tried copying the contents from MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg to another folder and then open the install.app, still no progress.
Please advice since I really need to install this.

The situation is like this, I downloaded the image on my desktop pc(which is windows) and then compress & split the image using a winrar. I then transferred the files to my mac book pro and extracted the image there. Unfortunately, there was a bug in the unarchiver software that I was using on mac to extract the image.
This bug was rectified today in a update given out by the dev.
Now, I can install CS6 without any issues. Thanks for the repsonse once again.
