Cannot install firefox after de-installing

After de-installing Firefox, I can't re-install it on both useraccounts : after "uitvoeren" (Dutch for execute) nothing happens.
I've been reading all help solutions but nothing helps.
HELP!

[solved] cannot start firefox after xulrunner update on oct 4

since upgrading yesterday i cannot start firefox.
the console gives the following error message:
Could not find compatible GRE between version 1.9.0.1 and 1.9.0.1.
A quick google search shows a gentoo bug with the same symptoms - the solution was recompiling firefox. Is anybody else having this problem?
edit: apparently i had firefox-branded installed and therefore didn't get the upgraded pacman package - could somebody please delete this post? thanks

Cannot open Firefox after upgrade to 3.6

I upgraded to 3.6 from 3.5? Nothing happens when I click on firefox. I then did a system restore and still nothing. I used a flash drive and downloaded v.3.5.9 and brought it to my laptop and installed and nothing. What can I do????

Well, thanks for your help. My son came home and I put him in charge of fixing it while I cooked for him. He did have a heck of a time with it. He uninstalled everything and reinstalled and all is now well. Thank you

Cannot reload Firefox after shutdown

After closing Fire Fox the only way l can reopen it is to reinstall it, the rotating circle appears but after a few seconds it disappears.
This has been an intermittent problem over the last couple of months.
I'm using Windows 7 service pack 1.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Tried to upgrade from firefox 3.6.2 to 3.6.3, error message says another instance of firefox is running, then 3.6.2 opens. This occurs when i start firefox after restarting the computer, or when i try to install the upgrade

Whenever i try to open firefox, i get a message that firefox cannot install the upgrade because another instance of firefox is running. Then firefox 3.6.2 will start. running windows 7 64 bit. This will occur every time i try to open firefox, after rebooting or any time i close it and reopen firefox.

Cannot install firefox on linpus lite

cannot install any updates to firefox 3.5.19
last time i tried to update it wrecked my computer!
tried to install 10.0.1 because it says it is supposed to work with linpus lite but in the past such information has been totally wrong
there is no way to contact firefox directly which really sucks
after extracting there is nothing to execute to install firefox. even trying to run firefox from the extracted folder fucks up the computer so it has to be rebooted to even get the old version to run.
this is why i hate firefox. no help. no direct contact with firefox. no instructions on how to install. no help period!

Firefox tries to install update then says cannot install update because you have to close another Firefox window, repeats every minute. Doesn't stop.

After IOS 8 update, cannot install or update app

As my subject mentioned, after the ios 8 update, i cannot install or update app. I have done everything like calling the tech support, follow their instructions etc.. Some of the things i had done were
Soft reset ipad
Hard reset ipad
logout of itune store and login
delete everything on ipad and restore from itunes.
All these doesn't work and the problem keeps coming back again. This is frustrating that Apple would release an update like this that would break my ipad air. On top of that, quite a lot of app are not working eg zinio, evernote. My ipad air has been in this mode eversince the update release and i had mostly given up to resolve it. For all other ipad owners, if you want to avoid this anguish don't update to ios 8.

That's when it all started for me, from that version..... Now Version 3.6.14 is out, I was hoping the version 3.6.14 might would fix the problem wrong again....
Funny thing is i can not even Bookmark Firefox.com!!!!!...lol
So any ideas on how to fix it other than the link giving would help.
