Cannot install Headstart 2.1.2 due to strange error.

I'm trying to install Headstart 2.1.2.0.2 on an Oracle 8.1.5.0.0 clean DB and Designer 6.0
After selecting a home in the installer and assigning a directory I want to install Headstart but the installer immediately errors out with the following message:
HSUDOC.map(0): FILE_NOT_FOUND while mapping HSUDOC.
Does anyone know how to solve this ? Thanks.

Try applying patch 10 set for HeadStart.also try patch 6 for designer 6.0 also.

ok so the download problem with my iphone.. what could be the cause of that? ive restarted and deleted the "undownloaded app" over 10 times already. and restarted the iphone 10 times... next thing i know i cant install itunes on my laptop.... geez man..
obviously there is a fix which someone will help... but why should i have to go through all that crap to install a so called uncomplicated software... when you think about it this really shouldnt even be an issue.
normally if the thing dosent work. normally with most programs you just uninstall the uncompleted software and just reinstall and everything is usually good to go.. help!

ive never had any problems with ap[ple products in the past... this is a first and a stupid problem if you ask me

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the above steps haven't helped try installing:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for a 32-bit core program, similar to previous 64-bit releases of iTunes.
Or roll back to:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)
as appropriate.

we are gewtting the following error inour test client in SOST transaction. Can someboyd please thriw soem light on how to resolve this?

Diagnosis
Due to a technical fault, the system could not set up a connection to the RFC destination Check port and mail server for SMTP nodes. Therefore, the message could not be transferred to node SMTP.
System Response
The system was unable to transfer the message.
Additional information of the node used (in the system language of the node):
Procedure
Check the connection from SAP system to node SMTP. Perhaps the node is not assigned to the correct RFC destination. If so, correct this in Customizing.
Otherwise use RFC destination management to check the RFC connection to destination Check port and mail server for SMTP nodes.
If R/3 is in productive operation, it is advisable to reroute provisionally to another node.
You should therefore notify your system administrator.

Yes i completely agree, but we wanted to test this process by putting our own email addresses in the vendor master and then also maintinaing the condition records to make sure that the email are coming fine. I guess it was working until some time, but then yesterday i noticed this error message in our test client. Somehow we need tthis to get working so that we can get the signoff from the business and that this can be moved to production

Tell us more about the disk and partition onto which you are trying to install Mountain Lion:
Open Disk Utility (in Applications > Utilities). The left column should show your disk with its partition(s) indented below it:
How is the disk (top level container) formatted according to Disk Utility:
* What Partiton Map Scheme? (Should be "GUID Partition Table".)
* How many partitions? (Should be 1 unless you have a Boot Camp partition.)
How is the partition (lower level container) formatted according to Disk Utility? (Should be "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)".)

I used to have the same problem, and found a solution. It is very simple, ,just follow these steps below
Open the 'computer' file, found on start or might be on your desktop.
Click the C: drive, found on the left where theres a list of things such as favorites, desktop, etc
Locate 'Users' and open it.
Click your username
Go to AppData. (if its not there: on top, where theres 'File | Home | Share | View', click view, and then on the Show/Hide column, place a check by Hidden Items)
Click 'Local'
Locate Temp, and click it.
Highlight all the files and delete them. There might be some that you cant delete, but thats fine, just click 'skip'
Restart your computer, and it will be fixed!

My macbook failed too.
After updating it didnt reboot. I waited for a very long time. In the end I had to force reboot it.
It booted normaly and stopped at the login screen. (Normal on this machine)
When I log in to any of the accounts it starts the process by asking for my name and adress and stuff that usually happens when setting up the machine for the first time.
I knew this was wrong but tried to fill in the info anyway.
After doing that it just reverts back to the login screen.
I am now trying to update it using combo update trough remote desktop from a mac pro.
Crossing fingers here....
Update:
It worked. After updating trough remote desktop and rebooting I can log in to my accounts.

Cannot install OS X Snow Leopard due to.....

Hi, Have Macbook Pro as spec below. Want to upgrade to OS X Snow Leopard.
Purchased CD. Run CD and when it comes to choose the HD as install disk I get the message:
Mac OS X cannot be installed on 'Macintosh HD'. This disk is used for Time Machine backups.
I have used Time Machine to back up the laptop to external drive but it is not turned off.
Why am I getting this message and how can I overcome the issue and continue to install OS X.
I have taken a full back up before I am trying this.
Searched forums but as soon as I mention Time Machine I just get issues with using TM not install issues.
Any help appreciated.

I need to update Firefox, but it keeps saying that Firefox needs to be closed first (even though all windows are closed). I cannot install or remove Firefox files due to this problem.

Firefox was unable to open google, and I saw there was an update for that problem, but I am unable to install the update (or any update for that matter) as well as removing Firefox. Every time I try to do so, I get a message that I must close Firefox first (even though there are no windows open). I checked applications to be sure, and it does not appear Firefox is running when this happens.

Hi kshikuma. This happens to me sometimes, as well.
To solve this issue, open the Windows Task Manager by hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del.
Go to the "Processes" tab and see if a process named "firefox.exe" or "plugin-container.exe" is opened. Close any and all such processes by right-clicking them and selecting "End Process".

Hi, I have tried to shut down a previous bad download of Captivate 8 on my Mac but the installer still will not let me proceed even though I have quit the program and closed in Applications / Activity Monitor. Sea Swimmer you may want to try rebooting your computer and then try the installation again. If you are being prompted to close Captivate files it is likely you have downloaded the installation files and are attempting to install the software. By default the installation files are saved to the download folder for your User account.

I an trying to upgrade to itune 7.0 and I am not able. I am getting an error that it cannot open key. It is a problem with installshield. It says I need access.
