Cannot install NEC USB 3.0 Driver for Windows 7 - Now no USB 3.0

I was trying to update the usb 3.0 driver on my G770 - connecting a USB 3.0 portable drive (or USB 3.0 flash) would slow down Windows and browsing from folder to folder would hang.
I downloaded the latest driver from the site...
NEC USB 3.0 Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) - Lenovo G770 Notebook (IN5CAR01WW5.exe)
and it asks for Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver disk during the installation.
Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver for Windows XP exists but the driver for Windows 7 is NEC USB 3.0 Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit)
What to do?

I had an issue with installing an HP LaserJet 5 printer to a WIndows 7 64-bit box. I thought I would post my experience and solution to this problem so that others can quickly resolve similar issues.
If you connect as I did with a Parallel Printer-to-USB cable, then Win-7 searches for drivers automatically. But none werre found. However, using "Add Printer" via Control Panel/View Devices and Printers/Printers and Faxes, then left click starts the process for finding and installing the HP driver needed.
No need as others have suggested to go to HP Support Center to install their Universal Printing PCL 5 driver found here:

Cannot install Boot Camp 3.2 upgrade for Windows 7 64 bit

I recently installed Windows 7 64 bit on my macbook. I also installed Boot Camp 3.0.1 after Windows 7 installation, however, WiFi did not work. Therefore, I needed to upgrade to the latest Boot Camp 3.2. However, when I tried to install Boot Camp 3.2 upgrade for Windows 7 74 bit, I got an error message saying that I needed Boot Camp 3.1 installed first. I CANNOT find Boot Camp 3.1 upgrade for Windows 7 64 bit on Apple website at all. Can someone please help me on this? Is there a way to get the complete Boot Camp 3.2 package that can simply be installed on version 3.0.1??

I cannot install Lion to a backup drive for my new Mac Mini

I just bought the new Mac Mini with an i7 processor last week. I wanted to format a backup drive for it. When I tried to use the Lion Recovery partition on the new Mac Mini, I keep getting an error message that says it's incompatoble with the current model.
I also tried to use the Lion thumbdrive I purchased from Apple to see if that can be used, but it also give me the incompatible message.
Is there a special version of Lion that's only for the new Mac Mini's?
Any help is appreciated!

Cant install HP psc 1402 series driver for windows 8...please help!!!!!!!!!

I recently switched to windows 8...Upto that time everything was working fine...so when i upgraded to win 8 i downloaded the driver files for hp psc 1402 series...but when i start the installation ,the setup starts but it cannot detect my product...so after many attemps it finally detected it...and it installed the following devices-
1)HP imaging device
2)HP Printer
3)Photosmart 1400 (Dotf4Print)
It couldnt install the main component i.e HP Psc 1400 Series ...I manually tried install it from device manager but it couldnt find the driver
So i intalled this device from a old xp driver for hp 1400...
but the problem is that now when i print a document from my pc ...it does not print the tables...
please help me as soon as possible.. as i need to print an admit card for my interview before 13 of april.
i dont want to downgrade to win xp..
Please note that im still using win xp driver for hp psc 1400 series as i coundnt intall the win 8 version.

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that you are having trouble installing your PSC 1402 printer.
I would suggest doing another uninstall. Uninstalling the Printer Software. Then re-install using the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

Usb 3.0 driver for windows 7 64 bit hp 23-b011 all in one

I have a hp 23-b011 that is a all in one computer. I downgraded the operating system to windows 7 64 bit because I prefer windows 7. Anyhow I need my usb 3.0 driver to work . I have tried the driver SP57875 it does not work. also have tried do the %temp% and copy it to the desktop and run it and it still does not work. If I am trying the wrong driver please let me know.
When I go to device manager and to the universal serial bus (usb) controller and right click properties and go to details, there is no information it only says universal serial bus (usb) controller. I have the AMD E2-1800 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.70 GHz processor.
Please let me know if I need a different driver thank u

USB RS232/4 Driver for Windows CE

I'm using USB RS232/4 device well with my laptop. I wonder whether i can use the device directly connected with Windows CE system instead of Windows XP system.
I have LabView PDA Module and a single board computer operated by Windows CE.NET 4.2.
Is there any driver of the device for Windows CE system?

Hp pavillion 15-b142dx usb 3.0 driver for windows 7

Have a hp sleekbook 15-b142dx and down graded from windows 8 to windows 7. Can't find the right driver to make the two USB 3.0 ports work. The 2.0 USB port works just fine.

Started to papc freezes cannot eject windos discrtition drive for windows now

I startedgot to partition my mac for windows installation used the step by step got as far as where I would store windows there was no available place or could not go there due to format but my windows disc is now stuck in pc and wont boot

Power down & hold the Mouse button down while booting up to eject the Disc, hold Option or alt key at same time to bring up your boot choices.

Need USB 3.0 driver for Windows 7 running in Fusion

I have a MacBookpro Retina that is about 3 weeks old. So far it is running fairly well. I have installed Fusion5 and am running Windows7 Ultimate 64 bit. I have run into an issue however with my WD my passport 2tb USB3.0 drives. they are seen in OS X 10.8 and work fine. but when I try to attach to them with Windows 7 I get a message that the drivers are not installed and the drive is NOT seen in My computer.
I have narrowed it down to be a driver issue because when I attach the drive to a USB2.0 hub the drive is seen and works fine. I have to run Windows 7 as windows 8 performance is totally unacceptable and I discovered that some software I have that is windows only is not compatible with Windows8. I have tried a couple of intel drivers but they won't install so I am guessing I am trying to use the wrong ones. If they are in the support software for boot camp they are not redily recognizable since I have all that and there is nothing marked USB3 support.
I am headed to Afghanistan soon (contractor) so I really need to get this thing working properly. any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

How do I install the apple mobile device driver for windows xp?

I get a code 10 error when I plug my iphone in to the usb connection on my windows xp based computer. I tried going through several steps to remove all apple software from my computer, then reinstalling it and still I cannot get my iphone to show up as a camera on my computer. not sure where to go from here.

Trouble installing latest Intel Display Driver for Windows 7

Anyone else experiencing issues trying to install the latest Intel Display Driver for Windows 7, version 8.15.10.2057, dated 2 Mar 2010?
This is the second updated driver release that refuses to install due the following error while running setup.exe: This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software.
I've verified compatibility and have disabled Switchable graphics and selected Integrated Graphics in the BIOS

Appears you selected the right .inf file for Win7/64. Notwithstanding the error flags, are you sure the driver did not install?
For WinXP/32, the equivalent file name is kit22686.inf. In the case of WinXP (likely similar for Vista and Win7), Lenovo's file-set will unpack to C:\drivers\WIN\DISPLAY2. The .inf file that appears in the Device Manager install-routine lives one level down, in C:\drivers\WIN\DISPLAY2\Graphics. Only one .inf file resides in this directory.
When forcing installation of the driver under WinXP, error messages appear that are similar (but not necessarily identical) to those you encountered. Still, after a sequence of five or six such error messages, the driver does load and can be verified after a reboot. (The new driver has performed to spec for the past several days--no issues whatsoever.)
The final splash screen in the series reports "Completing the Hardware Update Wizard." (This message does not, however, necessarily denote a successful installation.)
In the case of WinXP, the errors appear to be generated by the installer, igxpun.exe (v1.2.30.0). Note that the flaky display driver installation should generate an error log. Search for an error log file using the string "*appcompat.txt" (no quotes) and see what it says.
In the end, the problems with this package can be attributed to simple sloppiness (vendors commonly forget to eat their dog food) and should be quickly fixed if the community barks loudly.

T61 Power Management Driver for Windows 7 - where?

I cannot find a released Power Management Driver for Windows 7 for the Thinkpad T61.
I see a version 1.60 but it does not include Windows 7 for the T61. And the only other one I have found is beta.
As an aside, do I even need the Power Management Driver if I'm not going to use Power Manager?

In the driver matrix, it's listed as for "ACPI Power Management" for Vista and lower - but is the same driver. The readme and download page include Win 7 if you dig a little deeper. Maybe that's what is causing the confustion.
[edit] Sorry, spoke too soon. I dug a little deeper. The readme doesn't list the T61 under WIn 7, only Vista. OTOH, the download page for the T61 lists that driver for Win 7. Anyone actually try it?
