Cannot install PPro CS4 - not enough memory????

I am trying to install the trial version of Premire Pro CS4 for evaluation purposes.
For some reason the installer reports that I do not have sufficient memory on the chosen hard drive, which I clearly have. See bottom left hand corner of the screen here:

The default drive chosen by the installer is C, which indeed does not have enough space, but the message remain regardless of the drive I change to. I already tried to go back and forward and change the drive selected to see if it will refresh properly, but to no avail.
Any idea how to make this work?

Managed to solve the problem...
The problem was that PPro installer installs some shared files into the C drive in addition to installing the application itself to your chosen drive (which could be a different one).
The oversight on the part of the developers of the installer is that the 'not enough memory' warning message during installation corresponds to having not enough memory on either or both the C drive AND your chosen drive. At the same time the installer also gives an indicattion of the amount of memory available and the amount required, but without indication that this only correesponds to your chosen drive.... So, if your drive has enough memory, but the c drive doesn't the installer gives you two conflicting messages...
I now clear some space for the shared files on C, and the warning disappeared and everything installed and ran fine.

I followed the advice of another user, cleared my payment information and re-entered my credit card info and this took care of it, I was immediately able to download new purchases. Apparently they called and got this info from someone at Apple, there is some sort of "bug". worked for me...hope it helps you out too!!

FYI.. it's storage space not memory.
Try restarting your iPad. Press and hold the sleep / wake button until you see the red slider then swipe to the right to power off. Then press and hold the sleep / wake button until you see the Apple logo.
Restart your computer.
Now try syncing photos.

Cannot initialize Photoshop CS2 "not enough memory" error

I had Photoshop CS2 installed and running fine on a MacBook Pro (10.5.4, 2GB RAM), until it suddenly crashed and now will not open. Gives the error message: "Could not initialize because there's not enough memory." I have 1.5 GB of memory free, and 70 GB of disk space free. I've reinstalled, tried creating a new user to run it, but nothing is working. I've found a couple of mentions of the same problem online, but no solutions. Can anyone help me?

I don't know how MacBook works but it sounds like I just had basically the same problem which John Joslin had the correct answer. He said, "Try resetting your preferences as described in the FAQ at:

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.
(A complete uninstall/re-install will not affect the preferences and a corrupt file there may be causing the problem.)"
I have windows vista ultimate so I'm not sure if this will help you but my preferences were at:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop\9.0\Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings. I just renamed my pref's and photoshop opened right up.

Photoshop CS2 Cannot read PNG files--"Not Enough Memory"

Hi! I have a bit of a problem. I've scoured the interwebs for days but can't find a solution.
My copy of PSCS2 was able to open PNGs in the past, but it just up and decided it doesn't want to anymore. I'm serious--I can't think of any major overhaul or anything I did to cause it, but now it won't read them correctly. It says there's "not enough memory," which doesn't really make sense, when I have a Macbook Pro and nothing running in the background. On top of that, the particular files I've been trying to open are barely 100kb. I've used canvases upwards of ten thousand square pixels in dimension with no problem.
This is with any PNG file. It's not an "incorrect extension" problem, because I made these files and just need to reopen them to edit things.
Here are some screenshots that show what's been happening; nothing exciting, but just in case someone notices something I don't:

Now, this is strange.
I restarted my computer and now the message has changed--to a simple one, but albeit still confusing.
Sigh.
I didn't do anything but restart my computer.

AI CS4 "Not enough memory"

There will be random times that when we try to open an illustrator file, after a blank artboard it alerts "Not Enough memory." You click Ok and nothing is open. You try to open it again and maybe it works maybe you get the same message. We'll keep trying to open the file 2 or 3 times and it'll eventually open. It doesn't matter what version the illustrator file is. I could have 10 applications open or only Illustrator and it'll still happen. I could have no illustrator files open or 4 files open, doesn't matter. I could have just restarted the computer and it would still happen. Two of us are running 10.5.6, one is running 10.5.4. We're all on dual 1.8 G5s. I have 4GB RAM, the others have 8GB. We all get the same issue. Reinstalling doesn't help.
All and all, it's EXTREMELY irratating. WTF! It also irratates me that there was more effort and care put into how the panels look and fade in and out rather than the response time and usability of the application. In the advertising field, time is money and I don't want to be twiddling my thumbs waiting for the design tool to look pretty.

Nope! I still haven't seen a fix for it and still having the same issue. One thing that I DO notice though is that it's when Illustrator is hidden that the error will happen.
So if I'm in Illustrator and I option click my desktop (hiding Illustrator), and then I double click on the illustrator file I'll get the error. But if I just click on the desktop from illustrator and then double click on the file, it'll be fine. Pretty irritating if I have other illustrator files open and I need to see my desktop. At least I have dual monitors.

Cannot Remove Backup files - not enough memory to support this procedure

I Have SL510 and Windows 7 Proffessional. When I go to Thinkvantage R&R and click advanced dropdown box to delete backups there are no backups shown which can be deleted. I can however view backups but there are no buttons to delete. I'm stuck with 120GB of backups out of total capacity of 280Gb

I have now eventually found a way to see the backups and to tick the box to delete selected backups. After running for a while I get a message that the system does not have enough memory to support this procedure.

I am trying to burn large audible audio book to virtual CD and iTune 11.2.2 keeps crashing midway. After spending hours trying to get information off technical forum, here is the description and possible explanation of what is happening:
The burn start normally, iTune create 10 tracks of 8 mn per CD.
The burn progress pass 10 CD (up to 30 CD).
The a message box with: "The iTune library cannot be saved. There is not enough memory" appears.
In the back ground the process keeps going for another 2 or 3 CD then stops.
This is NOT a memory problem:
My computer still has over 100 Gb of HDD left
On my i7, only 4 of the 8 core were used.
The whole process didn't go over 3.5 Gb of RAM (out of 8).
I reinstalled, iTune.
I re-imported the files.
I raised the processes priority to High.
From the forums, This problem started past iTune 7.x and x64 bit processors whenever iTune used more that 1.5 Ghz of RAM.
It does follow the behavior of a 32bit bit system going Out Of Memory.
The way I see this: Apple has to either create a fix to reuse the current iTune memory properly or create an update to 64bit so it can use whatever RAM is available in the computer.
Does anyone else have any other idea?

Well, I installed the latest iTunes this AM, works perfectly. Although for some reason it did lock up after playing a song today.

The issue you are experiencing is one that has occurred in multiple versions of iTunes, a simple search would have revealed this.
A simple search was conducted, no one seemed to have an answer. Do you always adopt such a haughty attitude? Or was I just lucky.

You need to delete some item (apps, music, photos etc) from the iPod,.However, sometime files get corrupt. To determine that connect the iPod to your computer and click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes. How much storage is used by the "other" category. If over 1 1/2 GB that indicates corrupted files.
To get the "other" down to normal value you need to restore your iPod usually restoring from backup works but sometimes restoring to factory settings.new iPod is required./

You can sync and download many different types of content on your device. Some types of content (such as music and videos) typically take more space than others (such as notes and books). The amount of space taken by an app depends on the app's purpose; complex or graphically intense apps usually take more space than simpler apps.
If your device is near its capacity, you can remove some of the less used content to make room for more.

Cannot open a layered pdf file (64mb only) inside PS CS5 "not enough memory"

I cannot seem to open a pdf file inside PS CS5, I also created the file some 3 months ago, saving all the phostoshop layers in it. But now I can't open it inside the photoshop to retrieve the layers as I will be doing some changes. Unfortunately, the original psd file is gone for good. When I try to open it, it alsways says "not enough memory", i try to increase the ram to 4g, play with scratch disk setting but still no success. Any ideas? I can send the pdf file over and see if it open up in your machine. Please take note that the pdf file displays perfectly on a reader.
