Cannot install ScanJet G3110 drivers on Yosemite OSX 10.10

When I try to open the "HP Scanjet Installer" I receive an error that "The app’s authorization has been revoked".
Any ideas how to make it work? Is there a new drive?

  • I cannot install flash player on my MAC - (osx 10.8.4) - it downloads 50%, then clicks to "finish"

I cannot install flash player on my Mac - running OSX 10.8.4 and Safari 6.0.5.  The progress bar show is as  downloading to 50%, then converts to "installing" and immediately goes to 100% and says it's installed. But it's not.  I get another Adobe Flash installer icon on my desktop instead.  Help!

    Hello,
    Welcome to Adobe Forums.
First, remove Adobe Flash Player completely using Flash Player uninstaller for MAC : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html
Download offline installer for Adobe Flash Player (MAC) from here : http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac/install_flash_playe r_11_osx.dmg
Once the file is downloaded, run the installer

Firefox tells me there is an update. I click install, but it just sticks at the downloading screen (for hours if I let it) and cannot download. This has been happening ever since I changed to Mac OSX Lion on the new MacBook Air.

  • Cannot install Canon printer drivers after upgrade to Mountain Lion

Have got a MG3150 printer from Canon. which is in the supported list. I tried to add the new printer and get the message "can't install the software for the Canon MG3100 series becuase it is not currently available from the Software Update Server.
It says this,  in spite of giving me a message that they are available  when I attach the printer via USB. This does kick off an attempt to  to seek printer updates.
So both methods of updating the printer drivers fails.
I tried trashing the Cannon software and the PPD file for the MG3150 followed by a downloaded reinstall, but no luck.
    Any ideas, please?

  • Cannot install or update on Mac Yosemite

Since I have gone to Yosemite, I have not been able to use the standard procedure to install or update Flash.  The installer(s) downloads fine, then when I run the installer it stalls (never completes), usually at the 30% complete stage.  And when it stall, I attempt to abort the installer and everything indicates that the abort succeeded, but it never shuts down, I have to force a quit.  I have to jump through hoops to get the latest standalone version, which does install.  But every single week when Flash has (yet another annoying) update, I have to go through the same procedures.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, repeatedly in every order possible.  This is getting sooo old and time consuming, and there isn't any easy to find resolution.  PLEASE HELP!!!

    Try the offline installer:

Tried the Acrobat XI installer as well, same error. Took laptop to Apple store and they couldn't figure it out either. Told me to contact Adobe.
Any asnwers/suggestions/clues would help. This laptop is used by a VP in our company and she's not please right now.

    Hey karih8198700,
Could you please let me know how have you been trying to install Acrobat on your MAC.
Please ensure that you are logged in as administrator and anti-virus is disabled as that might interrupt installation.
Also, please share the screenshot of the error message as I need to know the exact error that comes.
    Hope to hear from you.

  • Cannot install acrobat 9 pro updates on osx lion

    Hi,
I have not browsed through the forums here, so please forgive me if this question had been asked before. Are there known issues between Acrobat 9 Pro and OSX Lion? We have a user who has OSX 10.7.5 and Acrobat 9 Pro. He is not able to update Acrobat as there is no option to do so when he clicks on Help. He tried manually downloading and installing updates but when he is asked to select the copy of Adobe product to update, he only has the option to cancel.
I installed Acrobat 9 Pro on a Macbook running Mountain Lion and did not encounter any problem installing updates.
    Is this a known issue?
    Thanks,
    M

Hi, yes, understood that they are different things. However, if I'm to
rely on the link provided on the first reply then does it follow that 9
Pro is also not supported on Mountain Lion? I have a MACbook here on OSX
Mountain Lion, and as I've also mentioned on my first post, I was able to
install 9 Pro and update it as well.
It really is just odd that Lion is singled out here. I also checked this
and there is no mention of problems with updating 9 Pro:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/known-issues-mac-os-10.html
Sorry, but just trying to really find a workaround for this issue right
now. We though of using X Pro instead but, again, if I rely on the system
    requirements on this link -
    http://www.adobe.com/sea/products/acrobatpro/tech-specs.html - the OSX
version our user has is still not supported.
    Mac OS
    Intel processor
    Mac OS X v10.5.8 or v10.6.4
    512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
    1.2GB of available hard-disk space
    1024x768 screen resolution
    DVD-ROM drive
    Safari 4 for Mac OS X v10.5.8; Safari 4 or 5.0.x for Mac OS X v10.6.4

  • Cannot install full printer drivers

    Hey!
I'm having an issue with my printer. When I run the HP Print & Scan Doctor, it is saying that I need to install the update to have the full installation set-up. However, when I go to the HP Support page for the drivers, I keep getting this message.
Not FoundThe requested URL /pub/softlib/software12/COL32503/mp-109779-2/PS_AIO_07_D110_140_408-4.exe was not found on this server.
How can I get this file so that I can stop getting this messages? I've reinstalled the WIndows 8 drivers using the default system, but I still keep getting the request to install the full version.

Repair permissions and then restart your computer. Sometimes this cures the "missing printer" after installing drivers. Go to Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility and select your volume and then select Repair Permissions.

  • Cannot install any device drivers - access denied

    Hi,
Anytime I plug a device into my usb port/s and it tries to load the driver it fails.  I've also tried directly installing the driver and I get access denied.  Can anyone help me resolve this please?
I have windows 7 home laptop, I am the administrator.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Please try to replaces ACLs with default inherited ACLs for all matching files:
    1. Open an elevated command prompt, go to the drive:
cd /d X: (X represent your problematic drive letter, here I recommend the OS drive)
    2. Type the following command:
    icacls * /T /Q /C /RESET

  • Cannot install DM 2.0 for Mac OSX

I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.5 and just today my DM let me know that there was a new version available. I went on to download it but it won't install at all; the installer throws an error at the end that says: "There were errors with the installation. You may want to try installing again".
And in the middle of the error screen: "The installer encountered an eror that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."
When I open Console.app I see no other errors than the ones isted above so I have no way of knowing what the real problem is. I uninstalled the old version of the DM, tried again and it still failed to install v2.0 or even the old DM v1.0 so now I am screwed. Also tried re-installing in 64 and 32-bit modes and it made no difference...can anyone help??? Thanks everyone!

I had installed 1.0 afew days before v2.0 came out. Now something funny happens: the BB is seen by the computer as a flash drive(no bb icon!) and the DM does not detect it at all...and yes I am running it in 32-bit mode. When I boot in Windws 7 x64 the bb is recognized though...what gives???
