Cannot Install SP2 Fix 2.1 - Emergency

My model fail to function correctly after SP3 upgrade. (Wind 7 and Vista)
I uninstaller then installed base 2008 - Exported Swf flicker in browser and fail (attempted on Win 7 and Vista)
Attempted to upgrade base to SP2 2.1 (Downloaded Xcelsius Enterprise 2008 SP2 Fix Pack 2.1)
Executing Setup Failed with following message:
Xcelsius 2008 Setup Error
"The upgrade cannot be installed by Windows Installer service because the program to upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade may update a different version the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade."
Tried then to install SP1 Fix 2 to step up. But SP1 Fix 2 failed with same message.

Fix Pack require previous SP. SAP has removed SP 1 and 2 after release of SP3. So if you are having issues with SP3 and need to revert back to SP1 or 2 you have to contact support for an FTP link. Why would they remove SP with known issues with SP3?
After some investigation, I've found that the backwards compatibility issue that is affecting dynamic visibility in SP3 is a known issue. Fortunately this has already been identified by our Product Group and logged under fix request ADAPT01357371. The milestone is fixpack 3.1, which you will be able to apply on top of the SP3 build. Following this, you will be able to launch your previously created XLF files in SP3.1 without losing dynamic visibility.

Cannot Install SP2 - Requires SP1 before continuing

I have tried just about everything to fix this:
Through Windows Update and the Standalone package I receive a message that setup cannot continue because it needs SP1 installed first. Here is what I've tried:
CHKDSK - Good
SFC - Good
Uninstalled AV
System Readiness Toll (CheckSur) - No Errors
Installed via Windows Update and Standalone Installer
Restarted Server
Registry change to 100 to reflect SP1 being installed
msinfo32 verified SP1 listed
Reset Windows Update Components
Disabled Firewall
Administrators have full permission to Servicing Packages Folder
Turned off UAC
Malware and Virus scans
Possibly other things but I can't think of them, the update has been failing through automatic updates for 2 years now.

To quote an oft used phrase: "does not compute". <g> Server 2008 has no prerequisite of SP1.

Cannot install SP2 due to Win update error 8024402C

Can someone please help?
Just had a new 160hard drive put in my Toshiba laptop, put recovery disc in, all working fine tried to connect to internet (wireless) wouldn't work. Phoned AOL they tell me I need to get service pack 2.
Tried doing windows update telling me error 8024402C. I only know a little about computers and any advice would be helpful and is AOL right in saying I need Service pack 2. Wireless Internet was working fine before I had to put new hard drive and recovery disc in.

You can download the SP2 manually from the Microsoft webpage
Here choose the right (32bit or 64bit) SP2 for the system you are using.
You can save this on USB memory stick and can install this from USB flash memory stick on your computer.

Cannot install after fixing computer

I recently had to take my computer in to be fixed after I acquired viruses. The tech people gave me virus protection and my computer is working fine. But when I went to open Illustrator, it told me to uninstall then install again, Error:16. I tried to uninstall but when I went to install again, nothing happens. I have downloaded plenty of times from CC before and it worked fine. What do I do?

Cannot install Crystal Reports 2011

I tried to install Crystal Reports 2011. I followed the steps suggested by a SAP contact person and when I tried to run set up file, I am getting the following error: Install cannot proceed, Unalbe to install a product with a higher version over a product at a lower version Please use the appropriate patch...............

It is Not available as a download... It is a Paid Upgrade.

Version 2.0.4 is iWeb 08 and direct publishing via ftp is not available in iWeb 08 and never has been. You have the option of publishing to MobileMe, but you can publish via ftp, but you need to select the option publish to a local folder instead and then upload using Cyberduck, which is a free and dedicated ftp client.
If you want the inbuilt ftp function, then you will need to upgrade your iLife package to either iLife 09 which contains iWeb 09 or iLife 11, which also contains iWeb 09. For this, you need to purchase both of these packages. Either go to Amazon and try and get a copy of iLife 09 more cheaply or purchase iLife 11 directly from the Apple store.
This is what you will need to do and iWeb 08, which is the version you have, never has had built in ftp so that option will never be available to you unless you upgrade which you will have to pay for. Upgraded and updates are different things. Updates are just your normal run of the mill software updates and address bug fixes etc., whereas you will need to pay for full upgrades to other packages such as from iLife 08 to iLife 09 or 11.

Cannot install BI publisher Desktop under Win XP SP2 with Office 2003

When I tried to install BI publisher Desktp 10.3.2.1 on my PC, winxp sp2 with MS office 2003, at the end of the exe file excuation, I got a error like that:
Run-time Error '9': Subscript out of Range
So I cannot install it, do you know how to solve this problem?
I got .net framework 2.0 and jre,
I also install Adobe Acrobat 7.0 professional.

I googled this error and got the following infor:

Program error,
verify the program has all the latest updates. If updated try reinstalling the program. If you continue to have the same errors contact the software developer.

I am on Windows 7 - 64bit.
I can not download the new Creative Cloud App from online in the Download Center.
When I try to by clicking on download, it opens the old Adobe Application Manager and Creative Cloud is not there to chose to install.
I was able to install most of my CC applications through the Adobe Application Manager.
I am unable to get Acrobat installed though. The Adobe Application Manager will download Acrobat Pro XI and extract it, but it has a little yellow ! sign that says Installation Failed.
If we can get the new Creative Cloud app installed, maybe I can get Acrobat Pro XI installed afterwards.
When I click the yellow error sign it gives me a web page with the following message:

After IOS 8 update, cannot install or update app

As my subject mentioned, after the ios 8 update, i cannot install or update app. I have done everything like calling the tech support, follow their instructions etc.. Some of the things i had done were
Soft reset ipad
Hard reset ipad
logout of itune store and login
delete everything on ipad and restore from itunes.
All these doesn't work and the problem keeps coming back again. This is frustrating that Apple would release an update like this that would break my ipad air. On top of that, quite a lot of app are not working eg zinio, evernote. My ipad air has been in this mode eversince the update release and i had mostly given up to resolve it. For all other ipad owners, if you want to avoid this anguish don't update to ios 8.

SQL Server 2012 with SP2 Slipstream ISO images do not install SP2

We see the same issue as described here:

when using the newly posted en_sql_server_2012_enterprise_edition_with_service_pack_2_x64_dvd_4351704.iso from MSDN.
We end up with SQL Server 2012 RTM instead of SP2 and have to run a second pass to install SP2 on top of RTM.
Is this a confirmed problem with an expected solution soon to follow?

As per the link this seems to me a known issue. I cannot 100 % say because I have seen/faced this issue with
SP1 and you mentioned SP2. I would always suggest to install RTM only there is option to un select SP2 during installing.

normally if the thing dosent work. normally with most programs you just uninstall the uncompleted software and just reinstall and everything is usually good to go.. help!

I used to have the same problem, and found a solution. It is very simple, ,just follow these steps below
Open the 'computer' file, found on start or might be on your desktop.
Click the C: drive, found on the left where theres a list of things such as favorites, desktop, etc
Locate 'Users' and open it.
Click your username
Go to AppData. (if its not there: on top, where theres 'File | Home | Share | View', click view, and then on the Show/Hide column, place a check by Hidden Items)
Click 'Local'
Locate Temp, and click it.
Highlight all the files and delete them. There might be some that you cant delete, but thats fine, just click 'skip'
Restart your computer, and it will be fixed!
