Cannot install web apps

so maybe im slightly ignorant but i see all these web apps available on apple.com all these cool things you can put on your iphone but it doesnt tell you how to get them (either that or im missing it) it just gives you a description of the web app and leaves you hanging
i dont know what to do to get these
are they free?
do i download them from apple?
do i have to hack my phone?
if anyone can help me it would be appreciated

The best you can do is add them as a web clip for now, so long as you have the 1.1.3 update. To do that, navigate to a web application you like so that it's loaded in safari. Then click the plus sign in the bottom center of the screen and then choose the option "Add to Home Screen". Name the link then click Add. You will then have an icon on your home screen that's essentially a link to that web app. That still will only work when you're using the Edge or Wifi.

Are you saying the iBook G4 you have is running OS X 10.5.6?
The next file to get for it would be the Combo update 10.5.8 for Leopard.
And any old archived Flash player for 10.5.8 from Adobe flash site.
A browser such as TenFourFox, iCab, SeaMonkey-PPC, these are OK
but you won't be able to go past Leopard 10.5(.8) in a PowerPC Mac.
All these are free bits, however anything past 10.5.8 Mac OS X
would require a newer Mac with Intel-based architecture. Macs
made in 2006+ can see later OS X versions.

As you've already repaired Visual Studio but Visual Studio still reports the error for you, we need to look into the error info:

So here we need this package "Microsoft.VCLibs.120.00.Debug"
Please do the following:
1. Check your installation that you have enabled VC++ components. If you haven't or if you are not sure of it, please check this blog:

Then you can download and install the package from

i have sort of the same problem? when i try to download bb app world on my 8520, it lets me go as far as selecting the language, but after pressing 'next' all that shows up is the blackberry image at the top of the screen,, and like its finished loading???? pleaseeeeeee!!! i need help, seriously starting to annoy me! and this phone is useless to me because i cant get anything on it!

k i went to maemoder and tried to remove hildon via restore (strange) then entered the commonds u gave but this is what i got

After upgrading iphone 5 to iOS 7, I cannot install new apps. I get the message that I must first read and agree to iTunes terms and conditions. I read the terms and conditions online, but I don't see a way to agree when I install or re-install iTunes 11.1. I can update existing apps ok, though.
Anyone have this problem and find solution?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Some apps require an iOS of 5.1.1 or higher.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

My DVD with "Applications Install DVD" I have from the beginning (my mac is from 2010, but bought at the beginning of 2011). There is no information about iLife, but DVD version is:

This installation package was created in November 2010.
I think I shouldn't update my OS to 10.6.8 before installation of these apps.

I have 2 dvd's (1st with OS 10.6.4 and 2nd with apps).

How do I install web apps to my iphone?

I read on the apple web app support page that you can now download more apps into your home page. However, the vague instructions either do not work or the instructions were posted prematurely and I have something else to do first.
I a, told, in a nutshell, to go to the web app page on my phone then view the app and click on the plus sign and it will prompt me to add a button to my home page.
Uh Uh, that just does not happen. There is a bookmark prompt but no "add to home page on iphone".
When I go to my "about" settings my system version is 1.1.2. When checked, it tells me I have the latest version but is there not a 1.1.3 out there? How do I get it?

True (as did I). Some have noticed that have USB 1.1 that prior syncs with iTunes 7.5 (or lower) seemed to have a lot of issues with freezeups. With 7.6 it is claimed that it works great with USB 1.1 now. So to just play it safe (especially if you have USB 1.1) upgrading iTunes to 7.6 really cannot hurt you. Plus it is iTunes 7.6 that allows manually mananging files with your iPhone with 1.1.3 on it...so you should want 7.6 anyhow. Not to mention if you want to be able to work with the new Retals feature of iTunes, you will need the update.

Despite this, the uploaded web app (in this case collab.war) does not
always display in the left pane under Web Applications.
What makes the difference between one that shows up in one place and
one that doesn't?

may want to open a case with support. However, unless you can regularly
produce this (more importantly, if bea support can't reproduce this
in-house) then there may not be much we can do. What browser/version are
you using?
