Cannot "launch" or navigate - giant problem

Question

Things are fine when I'm using my MacBook Pro, but my iMac is another issue - and I can't seem to figure out where to proceed. I'll give you the whole problem, start to finish.
When I start up, I get a message from Bluetooth Assistant Assistant. I had just purchased the new Magic Pad, and it worked just fine for the past few days. But now, the Assistant says that "New keyboards cannot be discovered. Make sure your keyboard is discoverable." Well, I can't get past the "Continue" prompt - despite that the keyboard seems to wireless reader, mostly. The navigation will respond when you "click" or "float."
When I try to open an Application like Safari, another thing happens. When I try to Search using the menu on the upper right of the page, nothing enters; I just get a unresponsive cell.
I tried using utilities, but that requires verification, but I can't even the verification keys because I'm locked from doing it. Rebooting and Disk Utility - no luck. How can I get my iMac/Magic Pad working again?

Interestingly, I could not find any Bluetooth files on my iMac (there's are Bluetooth files on my MacBook Pro). While I tried to transfer the files onto the iMac, same problem. My keyboard is largely unresponsive.
