Cannot link my site to SP 2010, says it is not a SP site

Hi,
I am trying to link my site to SharePoint Designer 2010 however, I receive two error messages when entering the URL:
The first says "default.aspx is not a valid folder name."
The second says "Microsoft SharePoint Designer does not support editing non-SharePoint sites."
My site is hosted by SharePoint and I am curious to know how I can resolve this issue and connect my site to SPD.

Cannot sync my apps to my iPhone, says I am not authorized even thought i have authorized.

I am able to sync everything except for my applications. An error comes up saying I am not authorized on this computer but I have deauthorized and authorized again.

I have same problem, apps are removed everytime I sync my phone because am in a loop of messages claiming that I have authorized more than 5 computers with Itunes stuff (not true, computer has had upgrades to operating system, that's all); This is highly annoying. Because I don't know what would happen if I deauthorize my computer (does everything Apple/Itunes disappear?) I don't have the courage to deauthorize the computer and furthermore, I don't know if that would solve the problem.

I'm trying to get music from an external lacie hard drive imported onto my iMac. I cannot open the Lacie drive since it says 'power pc not supported'. Any ideas here?

I cannot run setup because a box appears saying it is not a valid win32 application

I have down loaded Firefox but cannot run the set up. When I try and open set up, a box appears saying the it is not a valid win 32 application. How do I get round this please?

Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
If you keep having problems then disable your ant-virus software temporarily during the download and installation of Firefox.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Everytime I click on a link and a new tab/window opens to open the link - i get an alert that says URL is not valid and cnnot be loaded. I click ok and the page loads fine. How do I get rid of this alert?

Actually the OP is running Firefox 3.6.8, but has a user agent that is corrupted by an extension (NET_mmhpset)
You can check the '''general.useragent''' prefs on the about:config page. 
You can open the '''about:config''' page via the location bar, just like you open a website. 
Filter: general.useragent 
If '''general.useragent''' prefs are bold (user set) then you can right-click that pref and choose Reset.

Cannot download current firefox version because it says I do not have sufficient priveleges. What does that mean and how do I fix it.

I keep trying to download newest version of Firefox but when I try to move it into applications I get the error message that I cannot do this because "I do not have sufficient privelelges" and then I can go no further. I do not know any more.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Lion Server installer says I am not connected to the internet

It says I'm not connected to the internet.

HP Pavilion DV-6000 model 443672-001 sn [Personal Information Removed] laptop. I did a full recovery via F11. I do have the disc, but the instructions didn't say to use one over the other. I have had many updates (over 100) so far. Laptop says wifi is connected with a strong signal, but I cannot access windows or chrome. It says I'm not connected to the internet. Also was wondering if you have any other computers working on the same WiFi network? If so, then there are a couple of things you can try to begin:
1: Take a look at the Internet Explorer Connection Settings on a working laptop/pc and duplicate the settings in your HP laptop in the Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Connections tab.

To be more precise, you can setup a JComponent or JPanel on top of your JavaFX nodes that has a TransferHandler that can convert the (AWT/Swing) images dragged to the app to JavaFX image and then insert it into the underlying node.
As for the file chooser itselft: ListView and the JavaFX composer can allow you to create one quite easily. TreeView can aslso be used to a lesser extend (still a big buggy). For both of these, there are small bugs in the Cell API that may (or may not) prevent from displaying a proper thumbnail in the cells.
You can also use a regular JFileChooser if you do not mind the dialog box having a different LnF from the rest of your application.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

[resolved] Cannot access particular site

I cannot access http://www.philosophypages.com. I tested using the "is it down or is it me?" site and apparently, it is "just me". I can ping the site fine. But if I try to view the page in firefox, it hangs forever. I don't see any complaints in the error/warning/info console, though. If I try to access it with lynx, eventually it just times out and says it could not make the connection.
I've accessed the same site just fine before. I can access other sites just fine now.
Can anybody suggest ways to track the issue down?

Web site say it's not compatible with safari

I am trying to complete a registration within a web site . I cannot sign in because it says it is not compatible with Safari. Is there anything I can do?

I moved my iTunes library to my external hard drive some time ago and I followed the directions listed here on the apple support page. It did copy my library and now is on my hard drive... I can open iTunes and use it to sync all of my devices but I would like to play my music... I can see all of my music files but can not play them if I click on an album or song it says the following: "(file name) could not be used because the original file cannot be found. Would you like to locate it?" I click locate but do not know where to go from there? I need a way to access all files and not to hunt down one at a time on my hard drive... I am pretty sure I deleted the original library to make space on my internal drive which was the reason for moving it. I have tried and tried to fix it and do not have a lot of time to do so with a one and two year old at my house who do not like it whenI sit down at my computer. What to do??? Any help is much appreciated!!!

See Make a split library portable. Move all of the bits of the library together in the the correct shape and it should work. Or undo exactly what you did and then start over.
If you're a former Windows user don't try merging two folders together that have the same name by dropping one into the same folders as the other, as that goes badly on a Mac.
