Cannot listen or burn or put in Ipod my purchases from Itunes

Hello,
I purchased an album a week ago. It downloaded to my Itunes (latest version on Windows Vista) and cannot put the album in my Ipod or burn it to disc. I get the message that I am not authorized to do this! I have 4 out of 5 PC authorized.
I can see the song in my library but everytime I sant to listen, I have to log in, I get the message that my PC is authorized but am unable to listen to the songs!
Why is that?
Any help greatly appreciated!

Why would you repurchase songs simply because they will not sync? Sorry, that's beyond illogical, it's simply not smart.
What happens when trying to sync these songs?

You would have to let itunes rip the songs from the cd's, or you would have to copy the music from the computer which ripped cd's.
iTunes does not support transferring music from the ipod unless it was purchased from the store.

One correction, from the icloud I was not able to listed to the entire song. So when you purchased the song if it wasn't downloaded to your library, chances are you have lost your opportunity to listen to it.

Installing iTunes does not cause content to magically appear on the computer.
Your media is only where you put it.
iOS devices are not backup devices.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer.

Fifth Generation iPod won't play anything purchased from iTunes!

My 30GB iPod video will not play anything that I have purchased from iTunes.
I just got it last week and this is really frustrating.
I got "Dave Chappelle: For What It's Worth" and the album "Liquid Swords" by Genius/GZA. The video and all the songs play fine in iTunes but my iPod skips through the songs not playing anything and when I try to play the video it goes black like it's going to start playing but then it just goes back to the menu.
I have looked through the support page and have tried de-authorizing and reauthorizing my computer, updating my iPod (it was up-to-date), restoring my iPod, removing the files from my iPod and putting them back on, re-installing iPod updater, running repair on iTunes, recreating your iTunes library, resetting my iPod, and even tried using a different USB port. All of which produced the same results as before.
If anybody could help me out here it would be greatly appreciated. I can’t believe it is this difficult to get files from iTunes to an iPod, aren’t these supposed to go hand-in-hand?!?

First set of steps (These are general instructions. You may have tried some)...
Try playing the song in iTunes for a few seconds, then sync the iPod. Does it work?
Also, in iTunes go to advanced-->deauthorize computer. Now play the song. Type in your iTunes account information and password. Play a few song you have purchased for a few seconds each.
Sync the iPod. Do they work?
Also, make sure everything is up to date...

When I did this, my library showed all the music I have "purchased" from itunes but did not have the music that I downloaded a long time ago through itunes from my old CDs. How can I get that music to show up in my library now on my new computer? Also, will itunes still recognize my ipod on my new computer when I plug it in? I have an iPod Classic 5th Generation. I have not used it for about one month. When I turned it on, I had lost all my music and playlist files. The only thing left on the iPod was the music and audio books I have purchased from iTunes store. I tried to delete everything on the ipod by sliding the hold button and then pressing the center button and the menu and I saw the apple logo on the screen but the iPod wouldn't reboot. Any suggestions as to how I can delete everything on the iPod and then plug it into my computer to restore my music library? I am using a Windows 7 operating system.

Does both your Windows and Macbook iTunes have the same library of songs?
if it does then, much easier to proceed, else try to load the Macbook with the same library as Windows.
Note that only one of the Macbook USB port is good for iPod Classic, the other is too slow and may cause timeout, and I would suggest disconnect all other USB devices, while you Restore or Sync the iPod Classic.
Connect the iPod to the Mac, (if iTunes launch, please close it back.)
Use Disk Utility -> select the iPod Device->First Aid->Repair (use option FAT32)
After the Repair complete, eject the iPod.
Connect back to the Mac
When iTunes launch, Restore the iPod when Prompted, (use FAT32)
Sync your library.
