Dear BB Support, I had to do a Security Wipe on my BB 9800 and now I cannot re-set all my email accounts. I don't use a Corporate Email Server and when I do try and set up my emails the answer I get is Problem With Network Server Try Again.I have no idea what to do. Help please.

Hello...and apologies for the delayed reply!!
Hopefully you have already resolved this, but just in case...
I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
    2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
If you have no CMIME entry, then skip the deletion
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
    3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your BIS configuration for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
Lastly, as to your opening ("Dear BB Support")...please understand that this site has nothing to do with any formal support at all. Rather, this is a user-to-user community of volunteers. Formal support is contractually limited to being provided by your mobile service provider, who can escalate into RIM as needed.
    Good luck!

  • IDM / Cannot load the email service provider

Good day, I'm having same problem here on IDM 11g,
When I try to "Reset Password" for user from Identity Manager - Delegated Administration
I use the following "Manually change the Password"
and I select "E-mail the new password to the user."
I get the following error "An error occurred while changing the user password. Cannot load the email service provider".
IDM changes the password "The password has been changed successfully." but still no email sent
When I use other option "Auto-generate the Password (Randomly generated)" no email is also sent.
Can you please help with this issue?

Create an IT resource of type mail server. Name of IT resource should be same as specified in system pripert XL.MailServer. Bydefault its name is Email Server. Provide your mail server details in IT resource.
    Authentication      yes
Server Name      <ip address of your mail system>
    User Login      <user login>
    User Password <password>
After doing this, reset password of user, who's profile has email address.
    Check if this works.

  • Cannot use additional email for my apple id

    Hi all,
I use two apple IDs for several devices. Each of them holds my additional emails for rescue purposes (2 different emails for the first and 1 addiional email for the second apple ID). I  have decided to move one additional email from one apple ID to another one. First I have deleted this moving email address from the 1st apple ID account. Then tried to add this moving email to my second apple ID account, but system doesn't allow to set this email as additional - said "This email address is confirmed to another apple ID".  How to resolve this issue? Thank you!

Thank you! I will try to explain the issue.
    I have appleID_1
(primary email: "[email protected]", additional secondary emails: "[email protected]"  and "[email protected]")
    and appleID_2
(primary email: "[email protected]", additional secondary email: "[email protected]").
I need to move additional email "[email protected]" from appleID_1 to appleID_2 account.
Therefore I deleted this "[email protected]" from appleID_1, but appleID_2 does not accept address "[email protected]", the red message "This email address is confirmed to another apple ID" has been appeared immediately...
    Thank you!

  • Cannot add additional email address.

I am trying to add an additional email account to my iphone but the 'add account' option is grayed out. Help?

As far as adding alternate e-mail addresses to be associated with a single Apple ID, after going through the steps that you mentioned, you should get a verification e-mail each time you add an additional address.
As Apple states; "Verify your changes by following the link in the e-mail you will receive from Apple and signing into your account."
Simply stated, it sounds like you are not verifying the new addresses after you enter them.  I am not sure if the verification e-mail goes to the new e-mail address you added, which is likely, or the original, so check both.

  • Cannot use my email on blackberry torch 9869 no connexion

Hello After checking with my provider not an issue on their side, they say is issue with blackberry configuration of email account: i change my phone to a new one, torch, and saved my data on it, so my email is well configurated, but there is still no connexion (cannot send or receive mails) I tried to fix by recreating my email account (the same) but doesnt work.. And i only have 3 trials remaining now.. Do you know how i can first "" remove " my email account from this blackberry, and then re create it as a new one? Many thx for your help!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Well, given the way you have described things, there is some confusion in understanding your situation. For example, I've never seen a limit to how many attempts you can make to configure email (you saying you "have only 3 trials remaining")...I am not at all sure where you are seeing that...if you could provide a full description of the message that is giving this, then we might be able to understand better.
In any event, one thing to try is this...
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
    2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone

KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
    3) Reboot
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support...I am quite surprised that they have fobbed you off so easily...you pay them for all of your services, and as a result they are responsible for all of your service-related support, even if the issue is at BlackBerry (they can escalate you to BlackBerry...for free, you cannot reach out directly to BlackBerry for anything at all).
Good luck and let us know!

  • Unable to load Device Software to BB Torch 9800

    Hi,
I'm unable to load Device Software to my phone. Have tried with various Bundle from Various Carriers, still there seems to be no luck at all. Its basically dead now with no OS on it. I've tried with various Version of DM and DS, still nothing seems to be working what so ever.
My exact problem is, it's stuck at "Reconnecting to JVM" and that's it, nothing happens after that. There is a continuous blink of red light for seconds and that's it.
I have tried all possible solutions given in this forum, still no avail.
Could someone please help with this as a matter of urgency.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks.

    Manual device OS upgrade instructions:
    1. First locate your carrier and the OS file you wish to use.
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    2. Do a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > Backup. Close Desktop Manager upon completion and unplug BlackBerry. Get DM here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
    3. Download the OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
    4. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    5. This step is not needed unless there is an issue on next steps. Use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a complete backup) then after you get the error 507 (no OS installed) then proceed to step 6
    6. remove internet connection to PC and reboot PC.
    7. Plug in BlackBerry and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file was in.
    8. if you did Step 5, restore from back up. Follow this KB if needed http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10339
    Enjoy the new OS.

  • Cannot load exchange email on Imac

    Hello,
I am new to mac computers but have an Iphone and a ipad, both of which i have no problems connecting to the exchange server.  My IT guy said Imac cannot connect to the exchange server for mail.  Why would this be?  Seems like it should be able to do it.  I've tried every which way but nothing works.  Is my IT guy right?  Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Maybe yes, maybe no... probably no.
    But...
What version of Exchange server does your organization use? Are you using Mac Mail (what version of OS X) or Entourage, or Outlook (what version of MS Office is installed if any)?

  • Torch 9800 ''email set up icon not responding'' ... unable to edit or set up email accounts.

Torch 9800, Network provider, O2 UK.
Although my BlackBerry service with O2 is connected and working as normal, I am totally without email on my Torch 9800. I have owned the Torch 9800 since March. All has been well until last week when I changed the password on one of the 3 email accounts I had set up on my device.  This password change left one of the accounts unable to send or receive mail, and is also what lead me to discover that I could not enter email set up on my device or via my network providers website ( www.o2email.co.uk ) .
I have spent hours on the phone with O2 discussing this issue. The usual checks and procedures have been carried out, battery pulls, checking settings etc and the service books have been deleted and resent several times. These actions have not resolved the problem but instead led to the loss from my device of the other 2 email accounts which were working correctly but have now disappeared into thin air. Having tried all possible solutions with O2 I now come here looking for an answer.
When I visit my Network Providers BlackBerry mail service trying to create an account using my pin etc,  I am without fail getting a pop up box containing  the error message ''Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your devive to access BlackBerry Internet Service''  !?  The result is the same whether I log in from my device over 3G or Wireless, or from a PC (have tried several browsers) .
On my device, when I click on the Email Accounts icon from the setup menu nothing happens, no response at all. I have tried many times and there is just no way to set up or edit mail accounts. I am without mail on my device and growing increasingly short of patience.
I am now hoping somebody here can offer me some advice on how to resolve this issue. What use is a BlackBerry without email capabilities ? I see from researching email set up problems on the Torch 9800 that I am not alone here so if somebody at BlackBerry is listening ? If this is a Torch 9800 issue then I am sure you will be doing all you can to resolve this but in the meantime PLEASE help by offering a solution to the issues I have mentioned.
    Thanks

    Welcome to the forums, bs342!
Well, since you searched the forums, you are undoubtedly aware that the problem you report is unfortunately a common one these days.  The good news is that RIM is definitely aware of and working on the problem.
First, let's try something on your computer.  What browser are you using?  Your problem there might just be as simple as clearing cache in your browser, then closing and reopening the browser to try the website again.
If that doesn't work, try this:
From your device's browser, go to mobile.blackberry.com. Select your country of choice, then go to Communicate>Email. Scroll down to Other Personal Email and click on Integrate Now, then Launch Email Setup. You should be able to integrate your e-mail accounts that way until RIM has fixed this issue.
Please let us know how it goes!

  • Whatsapp problem for Torch 9800

    Hello,
I have a problem with my phone. I downloaded this app from the official website, installed and working fine for a couple of days. Then, it starts to lag and freezes for no reason, especially when I'm scrolling down looking at my contacts in favourites. I did a soft and hard reset and doesn't work at all. So i ended up deleting this app and reinstall again and the problem is still happening.
    Any comments?

Hi @denizua98! Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
No, you cannot install Os 7 on your Torch 9800.
OS 6.0.0.756 was the last update.

  • How come suddenly today I cannot access my email?

I was surprised this morning when I tried to access my email on all my devises and on icloud.com as well it asked me to change my password due to security reasons it says.  Then when I successfully logged into my account on icloud.com I could check everything from my contacts to calendars but not my email.  It gives me an error message that it cannot load my emails.  On the iphone and ipad it gives me an error that my username and or password are wrong.  Which is obviously not true cause I'm successfully logged onto icloud.
Anyone facing same problem?  I check with other friends and they don't have this problem.  Seems its only me

Same problem as the OP, cant login to icloud to view my mail. Called apple tech support, 4 days later my mail is fixed and up and running. What a joke, shouldnt take apple 4 days to fix this. Had to call 3 times. The first time apple cust service researched it for 30 min, then I heard a fire alarm type siren go off and she said she had to call me back (sounded like she was in the philipines). Never heard from her again.
Next day I went on the web and sheduled a call back to me, and when he called he looked into it for 15 min before telling me he needed to transfer me, after talking to a woman for about 20 more minutes she told me that she would call me back and of course never did.
Next day  I spoke with 3 people before someone in america talked to me, next day she called me back and it was fixed.
When will companies learn outsourcing is a waste of money? Those idiots they hire in other countries are worthless. The best thing they can come up with is "is your internet working correctly?" or some other moronic suggestion.
Im pretty sure when I tell her that my mail is not working on ANY IOS device or any of my mac or pc computers and that when I log into icloud I can see my calendar and contacts fine but when clicking on mail it gives me a error on ALL of my computers, and that ive reset the caches, reset safari, tried other browsers such as IE and firefox, that would give anyone with even the most rudementary troubleshooting abilities a clue that it ISNT on my end. Instead, they waste more of my time by telling me to delete the mail account of my IOS device or reset my passwords. And then they have the gall to tell me they wont have to charge me since it was on their end! ahahahahaha, no kidding, and to add insult to injury they try to sell me a applecare protection plan. Hey apple, i'm a certified network engineer with 20 years experience running my own company, im pretty sure you FAIL APPLE!

  • Cannot access Comcast email but IE can.

Comcast home page cannot load my email even to login. Please fix this! I like Firefox best.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== Updated Firefox after Windows 7 came out. I have Vista.

McAfee settings are the same for all my machines, so it can't be that. It is the issue on my machine, but I don't even know if it's Firefox anymore, as I've cleared history and cookies, and then proceeded to uninstall and then reinstall the entire thing with no resolution.

Do you mean Entourage? It appears you have Office 2004 or older. Those are PowerPC apps only and will not run in Lion or later. If you need access to those emails like, "RIGHT NOW!", then I would suggest purchasing Office 2011 for Mac. Outlook is the new Office email client in 2011 and can import your older Entourage data.
