Cannot load cellular account page

I bought a verizon ipad 3 about four months ago, but I didn't setup the cellular plan until today. I turned on the cellular data in the setting and tried to open the "cellular data account". It shows the the "page is loading" and nothing happens after that. Do I have to connect a Wifi to set this? (there is no wifi near me now)

When trying to purchase anything from itunes/appstore via clickandbuy safari cannot load last stage page...any solutions?

I am trying to purchase apps from the app store. As the app store is declining everytime telling me my details are wrong after many attempts at re-entering and reloading the page, i decided to try the click and buy option which doesent seem to work either. The detail process is fine, its the final stage of verifying everything and loading to process the account/order? (not sure as havent got past that stage). Is anyone else having?had this problem and is there any solutions??

iTunes 9 uses the Safari 4.0.3 interface to access the iTunes Store.
If you don't have Safari 4.0.3 or higher on your computer, get it here: http://www.apple.com/safari/download/
Be sure to choose the version for Tiger (OS 10.4.x).
You can set Safari to accept cookies only from sites you visit (blocking third-party sites and advertisers) in the security tab of Safari preferences.
BTW: The iPhone 3G requires Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later. Is your forum profile up to date?

Cannot load company web page

Greetings. New mac user here. Please bear with me. I hope this is not a silly question. I am using Safari and trying to load my company web page. Usually, on IE on Windows, I can load the page from home. My firewall authentication screen will come up for me to enter my id/pswd.
On Safari, the firewall authentication screen does not display. After entering the company web page address, I right away get the "error 404 - firewall authentication needed" message. I never get a chance to enter the id/pswd. Any ideas?
Could it be that my company does not allow Safari into the system?

Don't worry it's not a silly question and you made a wise decision to choose a Mac...even though you're having a bit of a problem right now...
As mac vega mentioned some sites won't work well on Safari. Generally speaking this is not an issue but it is true. You see many webdesigners only design with IE on Windows in mind. This sometimes causes problems for browsers other than IE. (Not just Mac...even Firefox on Windows can have issues.) So yes it's generally wise to keep at least one other browser on your Mac just in case. I would say Firefox is probably the most popular outside of Safari...and then there's Netscape as mac vega mentioned and Opera and others. Generally speaking anything Gecko (Firefox and variations) has the best compatibility with Safari probably being 2nd. The problem is not so much Safari as the webdesigners. Take the new Yahoo mail beta for example...doesn't work on Safari. It is Yahoo that decided to not make it compatible...it's not Safari's fault. It's a shame Yahoo has decided to forget about all Mac users since Safari is the number one Mac browser and the default Mac browser.
So with that being said I really don't know about your specific issue...there might be someone who can address that more in detail. But it would be good to see if another browser has the same issue. For what it's worth I use Camino (which is Firefox for Mac) when I have to but 95% of the time I use Safari. Let us know if you want to talk more about browsers...

I may be providing the wrong information, but that only because I don't understand the nomenclature as it pertains to the iTPSM.

Safari 5.1 cannot load apple start page or store etc

I have reset Safari many times, I have checked the preferences under general that it is set to Safari opens with a new window and do not know how to proceed. I have seen some suggestions for terminal commands and am leary about that and have read an apple page about changind DNS which I am unsure about.
Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

It's super easy. Just go back to where you set the Safari preferences to open with a new window; then directly underneath that, you will see "New windows open with: ". Set that to "Homepage"; then cut & paste this > http://store.apple.com/us
or this http://www.apple.com/hotnews/ into the Homepage: field.
Okay, there you go. Now if you prefer a different homepage within Apple's website, then just navigate there, open your Safari preferences and select "Set to current page" as your preferred home page.

All other computers using this connection are normal

Installed OS X Mavericks, now cannot load photos page on ITunes during IPhone/Ipad Sync

Hi I downloaded and installed OS X Mavericks last week.
But now realised that I cannot load the photos page during ITunes backup for apple devices!
Have tried reinstalling OS X Mavericks.
Wasn't able to delete itunes, so only could reinstall it.
Couldn't seem to resolve this problem.
Any tips?

Unfortunately without visually inspecting where everything is situated, it is difficult to say without putting you deeper in a hole. It is never a good idea to reinstall an older operating system on top of a new one. Your best bet to rescue your photos is to use an operating system independent file search tool. This tool may help, if you haven't overwritten the original files:
Download FindAnyFile v1.8.6 for older PowerPC Macs)
This program will search for files by their .jpg name and should be able to find old photos, if you know the number of the filename as it was in the Finder.
If you stored the files somewhere outside the main user, you may need help bringing over that user to your shared directory.
If you have overwritten the original files, only a data recovery tool would work. I would bring it in to service, since you attempted something that generally is not recommended unless you know what you are doing. Someone at a Mac usergroup could also attempt to help. http://www.apple.com/usergroups/

I found a solution to my problem.
> start menu
> accessories,
> right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".
Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset successful and you will need to reboot your computer.
Reboot and when I reloaded itunes the store loaded fine.

The first problem windows 7-8.1 got IP adress and connect he public HotSpot but cannot load login page or any other page. It does not work with it.

For changing the MAC address for Windows 7 is designed with some limitation, we cannot get over it. Thanks for your understanding.
Under Windows 7, the possible range of spoofed addresses for wireless adapters that can be set is limited. To be used by Windows 7, a spoofed MAC address should have 0 as a least significant bit (unicast) and 1 as a second least significant
bit (locally administered) in the second nibble. Thus possible values for the second nibble are limited to 2, 6, A and E.
In other words
MAC address: “XY-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX” “X” can be anything hexadecimal. The hexadecimal “Y”, written in binary format, is Y: “kmnp”, where “p” is the least significant bit;
p=0 --> unicast;
p=1 --> multicast;
n=0 --> globally assigned MAC;
n=1 --> locally administered;
So, actually MAC can be changed to any combination in which p=0 and n=1;
“Y” can be 2, 6, A or E.
So the possible MAC addresses in Windows 7 for wireless adapters:

All my web browsers cannot load this page.

After upgraded my Windows 8 x64 to Windows 8.1 x64 and flash player/flash plugin to latest version. All my web browsers cannot load this page "http://www.etoro.com/webtrader/". I've tried to load this webpage on IE11, Firefox 25 and the latest Chrome but nothing appeared but only blank page. I don't have any problem on loading any other webpage but just cannot load this page that I usually use to trade forex. Please help ! Thank you very much in advance.

Create a NEW account/ID using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Safari says cannot load page, need to keep reloading

For the past couple of days, I keep getting the message that Safari cannot load a page when I click on links or try to do a search on my iPhone. My signal strength would be strong the whole time. And if I keep hitting reload, the page will usually eventually load, but it's taking a lot of time. I don't have the same problem with other apps that require a data connection. I've already tried rebooting the phone multiple times by pressing the home and power buttons simultaneously, but that hasn't solved the problem. I also cleared history, cookies, and data. I haven't tested it enough yet while I've been on a Wi-Fi connection since the past couple of days I've mostly been on 3G so not sure if it's a network issue although as I mentioned the signal strength appears very strong and if I launch other apps that use a network connection, they have no loading issues.

I'm having the same problem. Safari quickly gives me the message that it can't load the page. However, if I open some other pages and come back to it, I can eventually get the page to load. I have a brand new iMac I bought this week, and updated Safari.
