I cannot load cookies i try to enable and it says i do but it does not so what can i do?

My Toshiba satellite cannot load anything at all

my laptop is Toshiba L755-16H, windows 8.1 update
All what I get now is   the first screen of “Toshiba Leaading Innovation” and “H2O bios” then the logo of windows 8 (4 blue quartered window) then black screen with flashing cursor and the mouse arrow, and it keeps like that.
The details as follows:
it was working normally until certain critical update is installed from Windows update, then it refuses to load windows at all and gives error message.
1-      in the beginning i tried to get into recovery options> advanced options> repair start up> but no benefit.
2-      then i tried system restore> it failed and no benefit.
3-      then system refresh> but i have windows 8 dvd not 8.1 so it said not suitable cd
4-      then i searched the internet to enable safe mood and entered the following command in command prompt:
“bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy” (no quotes)

and I could get into safe mood and tried to do system restore but it failed also.
After that I couldn’t boot the computer at all or even get into the system BIOS setup with F2 or F8 or F12.
Also I tried to enter the dvd of the Laptop Recovery or the dvd of windows 8 but the they spins for little seconds and nothing happens although I am sure the dvd rom is the first in booting sequence, (but the dvd rom sometimes fails to read some disks)
I tried to disconnect the power supply and remove the battery then press the power button for 2 minutes > but no benefit.
I tried to press 0 (zero) with the power button on starting up and keep pressing zero to go to factory settings but no benefit.
Please Help me . The computer is completely useless and I can’t get into any options at all. What can I do?????

Firefox does not load pages at all..

I upgraded to FireFox 7, and since upgrading I cannot load pages at all. I closed FF to update, then when I tried to restore my session, none of the pages would load; they're stuck in a never ending "connecting" state.
I've tried disabling all extensions, and it kind of helps, but I still can't load most pages

I am encountering this same problem too, but in a different twist. I erased all my cache, disabled all my add-ons, and even started a new FF profile (and a new Windows profile) and pulled up about 7 tabs going to 7 different websites, and the 1st 2 tabs will load the site, but then the rest stay stuck on this "Connecting" loop and never actually go to the site. I have looked thru the websites you suggested as well as other KB Articles that Mozilla has, and they haven't resolved this issue. I have noticed that this is happening in FF 7 and on. When I reinstall FF 6.0.2, this problem did not happen at all.

Firefox (3.6.1.14) cannot load Gmail if *any* extension is enabled. I've cleared all cache (with or without a Gmail tab)/history (timerange=everything)/cookies for Google & Gmail but no effect. IE has no issues. How can this be corrected?

This problem presents both before and after upgrading to FF 3.4.16. Numerous cache/history/cookie purges have had no effect. Gmail loads fine if FF is run in Safe Mode. It is also fine if all plugins are enabled and all extensions disabled. If any extension is enabled I can log into Gmail but the following page (the actual email page) cannot load; it hangs and eventually suggests using HTTP mode. HTTP mode does load completely if invoked.

I found a solution to my problem.

> right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".
Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset successful and you will need to reboot your computer.
Reboot and when I reloaded itunes the store loaded fine.

I just loaded the most recent FFox8, and gmail messages no longer load. All I get is an ad, and a blank. If I try to reply, a message says "cannot load rich text editor.

gmail loads, but when I click on an email, the body is blank, except for a two-line text ad. I can see the source code via the menu selection.
I tried to "reply" and see if I could read the attached email, but I got a message that said "cannot load the rich text editor"

After upgraded my Windows 8 x64 to Windows 8.1 x64 and flash player/flash plugin to latest version. All my web browsers cannot load this page "http://www.etoro.com/webtrader/". I've tried to load this webpage on IE11, Firefox 25 and the latest Chrome but nothing appeared but only blank page. You should e able to install FlashPlayer separately on IE and Firefox. So you may use Flash 11.3 on IE and 11.2 or 10.3 on Firefox.
Work from the administrator account. First of all sort out Firefox, use the Adobe uninstaller to uninstall Flash before reinstalling 11.2 Afterwards check that IE is ok, the Uninstaller may have changed that so you may need to reinstall Flash on IE.

You are apparently using an outdated Firefox 8. That is not secure you should update to the latest Release Firefox 13 (or within a day or so Firefox 14)
You may also encounter problems relating to use of RealPlayer software and that software may affect use of FlashPlayer 11.3

When you finish set Firefox's FlashPlayer not to upgrade, and until this issue is resolved do not follow suggestions from Adobe, or Plugincheck etc. to upgrade Flash.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

ICloud mail quit working simultaneously on all devices and iCloud cannot load Mail.

3:00 pm eastern time iCloud mail account on all devices (MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone) went to spin mode and and says "this account appears to be off-line due to a network problem.". But any attempt to take it online or to access iCloud online does not work. iCloud says "cannot load mail", and then allows me to report the problem to Apple which I have done over and over again. It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.

I get a message at the bottom asking permission to save and just as fast as I click save it says could not and then there is a rentry but that does not work as fast as you click it/ I cannot remove it because it asks permission and then you think it is going to remove it but nothing happens?
