One other note I do have parallels installed but not running on both machines.
Make sure on both machines that even if Parallels is not running that the two VPNs it creates in System Preferences > Network are set to Off.
Also make sure that in System Preferences > Sharing that Internet Sharing is nnot ON.
Later you will have to adjust the Parallels setting to NOT Share the Mac IP.

  • Cannot load Mail error

I am having trouble trying to access my iCloud email account both on my mac and iPhone. This was working just a few hours ago but now anytime I try to open the account on my mac I get the following alert:
I have sent a report to apple as instructed but in the meantime is there a solution to this problem?
Reload does nothing and the last time when I actually got to open the mail app from icloud.com all my folders were missing!
    Any help appreciated,
    Bryan

Well, at least it's good to know you can go to the iCloud System Status page (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/systemstatus/) and see an update from 8 days ago saying everything is A-OK.
Brilliant. Looking forward to getting my mail back. Or some acknowledgement from Apple.

This can be caused by a failed Firefox update that left you with a mixture of old and updated files in the Firefox program folder.

  • Icloud cannot load messages

    Dear All,
    Can anyone help please?
I have tried and tried and tried to load messages held in my inbox from iCloud, but without success. It repeatedly gives me a 'Cannot load messages' error. This is definitely apple's problem as I have tried with 3 different devices (one android, one windows and one mac).
Does anyone know why or more important how I can load my own email messages within my inbox using iCloud?
I want to search for an email receive 6 months ago and I know it is there but can't connect to the server to search the inbox.
Please help stop the frustration (this isn't the first time its happened!)
    Cheers

"load storage plan" make no sense at all.  What do you mean by that?  Are you unable to buy more storage?  What error messages are you getting?

  • T42 cannot load dos - while trying to install XP pro

Hi everyone! I just got a refurbished laptop and when I installing I get the error cannot load dos press anykey to retry. When I press anykey laptop reloads and same thing occurs after I pass IBM logo screen. I'm able to access bios, and choose which device boots. Unless I boot from CD-Rom that XP disc is in after IBM logo screen flashing cursor with black screen will appear.
So Mainly cannot load dos error. Any help, advice? Thanks!
P.S. I'm not very techy or computer savvy so be easy on me!!

If you download the trial version and it gets to a certain spot and cannot finish the install the DRM might be in the registry. Using any type of cleaner will not remove it. The DRM is hidden and locked. This to allow a one time only 30 day trial and to stop people trying to reload it for another free 30 days. You will have to reformat your hard drive and do a fresh up load of your Operating system.
If you feel like it never got to a point of installing the DRM in the registry then you will have call Adobe.
I am a little confused on what you did. You first stated that you downloaded the 30 day trial then you purchased CS4 at a offered discount. Was the discounted version a download too or did they send you a disk to install with?
Look in the Vista Event Viewr and look for Adobe install hits and post them here.
Going under the assumption you downloaded the software you have to install it as Admin. The download folder should be on your desktop. Inside that folder there are 2 files. One file is the .exe file. Right click on that and choose run as Admin.
Before you do the install turn off any anti-virus, Windows defender, and remove Adobe reader if installed. Leave UAC on.
During install the software will hang around 90 percent for about 10 to 15 mins. That is normal so let it run.
    After install reboot computer.
When rebooted, go to Start, All Programs and right click on PS CS4. Choose properties, compatibility, and check Run as Admin. Hit Apply then OK to close out.
Run PS CS4 and update to 11.0.1
If this does not work then your at the mercy of Adobe Customer Service.
