Cannot locate image via Bluetooth

After taking a photo on my Nokia E63 and renaming it on the phone (to make for easier identification & retrieval), I connected my handset to my PC via Bluetooth, but I cannot locate the image on my phone or my memory card. It's the only image that I've stored on my handset that I cannot locate via Bluetooth.
Is there any reason why this may've occurred?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Given that, the only thing we can think of to give you is the generic procedure for transferring files to/from a BB:

Maybe that'll provide you with what you need. Hopefully. Maybe. Can't tell...

  • E71 not receiving images via bluetooth

I tried sending images to my E71 via bluetooth but its not receiving.
It is ok for videos or for sound files, but its receiving any images.
I tried from many devices but it didnt work.
Sending images via bluetooth is ok. Only its not receiving. What to do?

I have a problem with sending images or videos. It sends randomly one or two maybe three but it won't sent all cause it blocks the process. And whan it blocks I have to cancel it, turn off bluetooth and than turn on an try again. But I still didnt succeed to send my video (~17Mb).

Correct. iPhone doesn't support Bluetooth File Transfer protocol.
Many photo machines let you plug in a camera via USB, so do that instead. The iPhone will appear as a standard digital camera.

  • FRM-47109 cannot locate image file

    Hi guys,
I created an image item on my form which will displays a picture from my hard disk when user click once.
    Trigger: When-Image-Pressed trigger
    code: read_image_file('C:\Nissan_xtrail','JPEG','product_image');
But the following error is return on the web FRM-47109 cannot locate imagefile.
    Do you have any suggestions?
    Cheers,

See Usage Notes in Help documentation for READ_IMAGE_FILE:
    * Oracle Forms searches for the image file along the same default path as it searches for an .FMX file.
    * READ_IMAGE_FILE Built-in reads images from the file system of the Application Server, not the client browser.

  • Cannot send file via bluetooth from galaxy s5 to mac yosemite os x

Recently upgraded to Yosemite from Mavericks and now cannot receive any files via bluetooth
on my Galaxy S5.  I can however receive files on my s5 from Yosemite.
Restarted mac with CMD+OPT+P+R, disconnected USB, waited 3 minutes on shutdown and reset bluetooth settings
    but still no joy.
    Please post any other solutions.
Your comments would be deeply appreciated.
    cheers.

Tripper: Sorry for my delayed response (very sick dad in the hopsital). Also, sorry I answered the *wrong* question. To transfer files:
On each Mac OS X 10.5-based Mac, from the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Sharing.
Check (click) the "On" box next to Bluetooth Sharing.
    Close the Sharing preferences window.
Select the file that you want to transfer.
Select "Send Using Bluetooth" from the Blackberry menu.
You will now receive a pop-up asking you to select a device. Select the paired computer you want to transfer the file to.
The file will start transferring. If you selected "Ask What to Do" in the Bluetooth prefs, you'll get a pop-up on the computer asking you if you want to accept or decline the file transfer.
That's it. Let me know if you still have problems.
    Good luck,

  • Cannot Locate 3G via MobileMe with OS4

iPhone 3G with OS4 just donwloaded. Seeing a considerable slowing of responses, especially via the keyboard.
    * HUGE PROBLEM *
The LOCATION FUNCTION via MobileMe, for some reason, cannot come close to locating my 3G any more. I have other iPhone(s) in the family and even an iPad and all are just fine when located via MobileMe from my Mac (very accurate). The 3G with OS4 is off by 10 miles or more. This NEVER HAPPENED before! Huge flaw... Apple needs to fix this ASAP or I want to go back to old OS! Before the upgrade, I could get within a few houses of locating the 3G. Now I am in a different CITY... I rebooted, etc. No change.

Hi; you may be correct. Not sure of the details. However, bottom line is it worked 100% prior to OS 4. Now the whole "Find My iPhone" process fails ONLY for the 3G w/ OS 4.
Can still find iPad, 3GS w/ OS 3, and a different 3G w/ OS 3. It's just the 3G w/ OS 4 with the problem. I think I will hold off on upgrading other devices a while...

  • Cannot send files via Bluetooth

My bluetooth used to work perfectly, but a couple of months ago a weird problem occured. People can send files to my computer normally, but i can't send anything via bluetooth.
I noticed that my sister has something like "OPEX file transfer" in the services-thingy but for me it says nothing. What's wrong?? Is there something i could do?

    And yes, it is.
And on the other computer you're trying to send to?
Have you tried deleting the following from ~/Library/Preferences/
    com.apple.BluetoothExplorer.plist
    com.apple.BluetoothFileExchange.plist
    com.apple.BluetoothSetupAssistant.plist
    and
    com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
    from /Library/Preferences/
and then restarting and re-pairing the devices?

  • I can send but cannot receive images via text

how can i receive images via text?

    Hello cschock,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Are you referring to not being able to receive images sent to you over iMessage?  If not, receiving MMS requires a cellular connection, and does not function over just Wi-Fi.  Please follow the instructions in the article below to resolve the issue.

currently running Windows 7, and I can pair the phone...the usb dongle works, however, when transferring music files wirelessly it stops at anything under 30%. I have tried unisntalling the bluetooth drivers and installing others but to no avail...i get the same hanging problem.

I'm not sure if this will help you or not...
I did some additional testing today and "fixed" my problem.
I grabbed a new (almost fresh install of XP) laptop and installed a Jabra USB BT dongle with the MS BT Stack. Then I installed DM 5.0.1 and plugged the phone into a USB port to get it past the initial configuration.
Unplugged the BB from USB, went into Device Manager, enabled BT and searched for a new device. It forund the 8350i and finished pairing. Switch from USB to BT connection and DM5 could communicate with the phone (same as the original laptop).
Went into "Media" and selected "Receive using Bluetooth" while starting a file transfer from the PC. Transfer went through without a hitch. Tried it several more times without any problems.
Back to the old laptop, I switched off the wireless devices (WiFi and BT) and installed the Jabra adapter. Paired it with the phone and tested, transfers from the PC to the phone now work.
Unplug the Jabra and re-enabled the internal BT on the laptop, file transfers fail again.
Same computer, similar BT (both Broadcom), one works and one doesn't. I'm left wondering if there isn't some remnant of the original ThinkPad BT Stack buried somewhere (registry?) that is interfering with the internal adapter.
My next step will be to install a clean copy of XP on a new HD in the "problem" laptop and see if I can get it working. If I can then that pretty much proves there is something left over or corrupt in the current OS.
i'm going to uninstall drivers from the problematic VAIO...try installing the same drivers as i have on the Acer (working) and see if this resolves anything as I think it may have something to do with the WIDCOMM...
after inspection you should have 2 bluetooth radio device drivers and 2 RIM serial port drivers (4 & 5 i believe)...last time i tried doin it and installed 4 RIM drivers...

  • Cannot locate images

I am new at lighroom 4 I did a family session and had the family decide on 54 images they liked that I would edit and I placed them into a collection and editted them well I created a folder in my pictures portion of my computer to place the editted version and now lightroom is stating that the image cannot be found and I tried relocating them to direct them to where they live in the computer file but it states that there are other pictures similar would you like to view this and I hit open but nothing happens so I am extremly worried I have lost these images I dont have backup that exist...please help me!

First of all, don't panic. Your photos are wherever you put them on your hard disk. You should be able to find these photos using your operating system.
You should be able to fix these problems in Lightroom, by moving the photos back to where they were (using your operating system), or via http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm
Now to take a step backwards, you seem to have made a number of beginner Lightroom mistakes, all of which are avoidable in the future.
Once you made a collection with these photos, you have properly organized the photos, and so there was no reason to move them to a specific folder
If you move or rename photos outside of Lightroom, then Lightroom no longer knows where the photos are and gives you a missing indicator (the ? icon) Lightroom does not contain your photos, it only contains a pointer to the photo's location, and that's why moving photos outside of Lightroom causes problems. My best advice is to develop a workflow where you don't move photos from here to there. And if you MUST move photos from here to there, do this in Lightroom.
Lightroom does not save the edited versions of your photos. This is different than other software that you may have used in the past. That is why you will not find a Save command in Lightroom. What Lightroom does is it saves, in its database, the changes you made (for example, exposure +0.24, contrast +20, highlights –25) and will re-draw this photo according to these changes whenever you open Lightroom. Most non-Adobe programs cannot interpret these changes and so can only show you the unedited photos.
If you need the edited versions of the photos for some non-Lightroom purpose, you must export the photos.
Let me strongly recommend you begin watching some video tutorials on the basics on Lightroom such as these:

  • Cannot locate images saved from CS5

I recently upgraded not only from CS3 to CS5, but also from a PC to a Mac. I am having trouble locating some of the images that I am saving from CS5 in the folder that I saved them in. For example, I edited approximately 10 images and saved them into a new folder. When I started to upload them, I noticed that 4 of them were not in the folder that I saved them to. I checked first to make sure I had not saved them in the original folder, and I didn't. Next, I checked the images in photoshop to see if they had been saved. And they had been. Then I tried to save them again into the folder and it told me that this file already exists. But...it's not there. Or at least I cannot find it. Anyone have any idea where these saved images are hiding?

On Mac, the default folder is your user document folder - very much like on a PC. It's actual location on the mac volume is Mac HD:Users:Abingram:Documents, assuming default names. You should have no problems finding them. Saving them to another location should work just the same, but since user management is more rigid in UNIX environments, you may simply not see it if it is in a system folder or another user's folder. OSX actually hides some of these folders then and they are excluded from your personal Spotlight search. To circumevent this and recover your files, you might try to grant yourself admin privileges temporarily in your user control panel ("User can manage this computer"). If you are the only user, this already should be the case and then you may need to check folder permissions by invoking the info panle (Cmd+I)...

  • Cannot send files via bluetooth from phone to PC

    Dear All,
I am having a problem trying to send files from my E71 to a PC.
I can send files from my PC's (both Ubuntu & Windows) no problem but if I try to send a file from my E71 (i have tried both a pdf, picture & video) the phone just says "Sending failed".
I can browse the phone via blueetooth in both Ubuntu and Windows so i know the connectivity is there. Both Ubuntu and Windows have the options set to allow incoming file transfers.
Is this normal behaviour? Has anybody else experienced this problem or seen anything else about this?
    COM

    Hi Com,
which Bluetooth stack are you running under Windows?
I know that with the M$ stack, you explicitly need to right-click on the BT icon and choose "Receive a File". I have successfully used this before to get files from my E71.
    Regards,
