Uploaded a iMovie from my phone but cannot locate it in itunes

I uploaded a imovie from my phone. I was given the option of saving it or uploading it to itunes. I chose itunes and cannot find it on my computer. It said it was in the sharing tab in itunes whihc I cannot locate.

There are many, many video formats and frankly most manufacturers assume everybody is running Windows and just design for that. Some things to try:

[Perian codecs for Quicktime|http://www.perian.org] - plugins to add functionality to Quicktime for playing additional audio and video formats
[Quicktime audio problems, Perian, VLC|http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=9013669] - read note about uninstalling prior DIVX support before installing Perian.
If you think the format is WMV then you need to install [Free Flip4mac QuickTime player components|http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.ms px]
After installation a new Flip4Mac pane will appear in System Preferences. Make sure you set the boxes to ensure that it will play WMV files in Quicktime.

Cannot locate list for iTunes

Is there a way to create a list of all the songs that iTunes cannot locate? I've tried creating a playlist of all the songs in my library and then created a smart playlist to show me only the songs that were not listed in the previous playlist but all songs showed up. Even the songs with an exclamation point. I'm really frustrated that this isn't easier. I tried locating a few of the songs but everytime instead of iTunes searching through the entire music folder it kept wanting to search in the previous album's folder.

Laptop cannot locate music in ITunes

A buddy has his music loaded into Itunes on a laptop. When you click a song, it says it "cannot locate file, do you want to locate it?" Once you click yes and find the tune, it works fine. However, a day or two later, it gives you the same message. He wants to play his library from his laptop rather than from his IPOD. I downloaded 9.0.2 thinking that might help, but same issue. I also recopied all his music to another folder and switched the path, but that didn't work either. He said he loaded the music from a hard drive, but the songs originated from CD. Could this maybe be the problem? Thanks for any help.

For the sony owners, another apple discussions user named redkeefy posted this and it has helped hundreds users. Redkeefy used some special freeware from SysInternals to find the conflict.

I have seen more & more posts from Gateway users, but none of them have posted a similar fix like redkeefy did.
Maybe it is something as simple as telling your security software to not scan the itunes folder?
Are you able to run the SysInternals software yourself and find the conflict?

Cannot Sync: Iphone 3G, Itunes 7.7, Outlook 2007 Exchange

I have read posts about this than for anything else in my entire life and I need help.
We have Outlook 2007 at work and we cannot do OTA sync due to IT restrictions. My assumption was I could sync using USB, Itunes with Outlook 2007 and it should sync email, contacts, calander. I have tried all combinations including reseting sync history, uninstalling/reinstalling, changing location of PST file to its default place etc and I have had no luck. I am on the verge of going back and returning the Iphone and go back to my blackberry. I am just hoping someone can help me out and I dont go that route.
Also, MobileMe sync didnt work for me as well but I guess there I am not alone. I already cancelled my subs for that.
Please help. i will make you my personal God if you can help me out.

I have done troubleshooting from Apple & Microsoft support web sites with no success..
I receive no error though, i start the synchronization from iTunes, it runs for a while, but once finished, there is no contact/calendar item on the iPhone.

Cannot modify iphone on itunes

Hi,
Just bought an iphone 3G 8GB (second hand) and plugged it into my computer, however itunes won't let me add or delete songs. The rest of my itunes seems to be working fine. I'm running itunes version 10.0.0.68, iphone software version 3.1.3 (?? I think ?? Don't want to update to 4 as I've heard it slows down performance). My computer is an HP with 6GB RAM and Core i5 running Windows 7 64 bit.

That's your problem. iTunes content is DRM protected and cannot be transferred to another iTunes account. So, unless you purchased/added this content through your iTunes account, you might as well wipe your phone now as you will not be able to transfer this content to your library. Further, by design, the iPhone will sync iTunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in all iTunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer.
So, plug your phone into a wall outlet(this can take several hours), then: Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content & Settings. When finished, your phone will look just like it did when first taken out of the box. Plug it into iTunes, name it what you want & sync your content to the phone. This will not affect the OS currently on your phone.

Your subject is different from your post. If you need later version of iTunes you need to update it on your computer, if when you connect phone iTunes says new version is available then click on the update button in iTunes and follow on screen prompts.

Yes, but you won't like it.
Windows 7 is in beta. Windows 7 (in beta) is not currently supported officially by iTunes. Because it is in beta. The solution is to use another operating system that is supported by iTunes that is not in beta.
The problem is, beta software is not final and there are going to be issues with it. Like not being able to use all your software in the way you are accustomed to. I am confident Microsoft mentioned in the user agreement something to the effect of the software is in beta and should not be used on your primary or any mission critical hardware.
Sorry, but that's the cost of wanting to be ahead of the curve. And I would say the same thing to someone running a beta version of OS X 10.6. Of course, I would expect the issue there would be with a third party app, not iTunes. But same thing.
You could always try re-installing iTunes, but no guarantees there. You know why.
