Cannot log in iTunes Connect

Anyone sees this when you try to log in iTunes Connect?
Apprently I am supposed to set up "reset password question", but there is something wrong about the system. Is it only me, or everybody seeing this?

  • Cannot log into iTunes and App Store since 6.1 update (iphone 5)

    I see many other of you having trouble with App Store in other discussions (App Store shows blank), me too.
    And I also cannot log into iTunes through Settings-->iTunes & App Stores. After putting in my Apple ID and password it just doesn't go anywhere.
    All of these started since I updated my iphone 5 from 6.0.2 to 6.1 yesterday. I've also updated my ipad 3 but it works just fine.
    Any one can help?

    Have you tried doing a reset on your iPhone? Press the Home button and the Power button at the same time and hold them down until the Silver Apple appears. Once it has fully reset, try to log into iTunes again on your phone.

  • I cannot login to iTunes Connect

    I can not log into iTunes Connect using my apple ID.  Help!

    Did you  open a paid or free books account? 
    A new Apple ID is needed for a paid account. When I  started with free books it was OK to use my  original
    " iTunes" account,  I think  now even a free books account needs a new and separate account.

    Made no changes to system.
    Logged into itunes today and it will not accept my Apple user ID, so cannot access store.
    All local music is visible and all local functions (sync with iphone/backup etc) work
    Same issue with AppStore, receive message cannot connect to app store.
    However, from Mac using either Firefox/Chrome/Safari browsers I can access iCloud (using same AppleiD), so ID seems ok
    I have confirmed credentials for itunes and app store by using my iphone 5 and ipad.  Both seems to work and connect
    I did have had some broadband (BT + BTHomehub2) issues last week, but now can access all public sites using FF and Chrome browsers, through Safari sometimes does refuses to connect, but if system is re-booted Safari works again.
    I have check date/ time settings.  I have check Apple Firewall is on but allows connections to itunes and appstore
    I have removed the following
    com.apple.itunes.plist
    com.apple.ituneshelper.plist
    com.apple.appstore.plist
    com.apple.safari.plist
    networkinterfaces.plist
    com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist
    com.apple.airport.perference.plist
    and rebooted.
    All entries are recreated successfully
    There are no duplicate entries or entries with strange extension to these plists
    Any advice or direction of where to look next would be appreciated

    Hey thanks b noir. That solved my problem! I ran the autoruns programs and the only suspicious programs in the winsock tab was Speedbit (a video accelerator program). As soon as I unistalled it iTunes started working properly again. It's strange because Speebit ran together with Itunes for quite a while without problems -  must've been a new update.
    I guess I'll never get back the many many hours I spent trying solve this problem...

  • Cannot log into iTunes store

    I purchased a new Windows 8 PC and installed the latest version of iTunes.  I can connect to the iTunes store but when I attempt to log in I receive the following error message "We could not complete your iTunes Store request.  The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable.  Please try again later.".  I receive the same error message when I attempt to authorize the new computer.  I have uninstalled iTunes completely according to the instructions from Apple support then reinstalled iTunes but I still have the same issue.  I can connect to iTunes without issue on my other computers/iPad/iPhone on the same network.  I ran diagnostics and it can connect without issue.  I have also tried disabling my firewall and I still get the same error message.  What can I do to resolve this issue?  I can post the diagnostics report if you wish.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    OK, so my friend was able to log into iTunes on my computer so we know everything is working.  I was able to log into iTunes on another computer just fine.  So this looks to be an issue with me account on my laptop.  What could cause this?  Any suggestion are appreciated.  Thanks.

    I keep getting an error message saying there was an error in the iTunes Store, try again later, any thoughts?

    I am getting timed out as well.
    I log out of the itunes store.  Within itunes, go to apps, then check for updates, it prompts for my uid and pw.  At the top of the screen I have "Accessing itunes store..."
    Finally I get the error:
    We could not complete your itunes store request.  The network connection was reset.  Make sure your network connection is active and try again.
    If I purposely put in a wrong password, I get the same error.  It would SEEM that it's not even getting to the step in authentication where it's seeing if the password is right or wrong.
    Per another thread, I tried runnning as administrator: 
    netsh winsock reset
    but that didn't fix anything.
    It's timing out on both my Win7 64bit itunes and on my iphone (both connecting with and without my WIFI, so it's not a network issue on my end since they're two different providers).
    Within itunes, at the top menu, Help, then Run Diagnostics, found no errors.  The network connectivity part of the log had this:
    Connection attempt to Apple web site was successful.
    Connection attempt to browsing iTunes Store was successful.
    Connection attempt to purchasing from iTunes Store was successful.
    Connection attempt to iPhone activation server was successful.
    Connection attempt to firmware update server was successful.
    Connection attempt to Gracenote server was successful.
    Last successful iTunes Store access was 2012-04-16 17:51:30.
    So, there are no errors.  It thinks it can get to the store and has been able to during the period that I'm coming up with this timeout. 
    Apple, look into this, please?

  • Cannot log into iTunes account after reinstalling Vista

    I just reinstalled Vista on my friends laptop, and now it wont let me log into iTunes. It just keeps saying that the network connection is down, and to check my settings. ANyone know what the problem is?

    On the Netgear
    The Access IP is normally 192.168.0.1 and the User ID is admin and the password is password when the pop down appears.
    ----Under SYSTEM PREFERENCES>NETWORK It shows Airport Connected to "Netgear 192.168.1.3" do not see User ID or password on the screen?
    In the menu on the left the last (or near last item) is UPnP.
    Check this is Enabled.
    ----Do not see this listed anywhere
    About two thirds of the way down the menu is WAN Set up
    In hear Disable the Port Scan Line (It will read DOS (or SPI) and Port Scan)
    There is another Line about "Blocking Responses to Ping on the WAN port" this needs to be Disabled as well (IChat sends a Ping to confirm where the Visible Invite went to is where the SIP stuff (In the Log about the error) is coming back from).
    On the DNS info.
    This should be two IP address normally that are on the Internet.
    These should appear on the RCA if it is accessible in a web Browser but more likely on the Router's Set Up pages (or Some sort of Summary page).
    A 192.168.x.x address points to the Router (I would guess in this case) and whilst some routes can be DNS servers as well it is not that common and is only really useful to link a MAC (Ethernet and/or WiFi Card - Media Access Card Address) info to a Name for the Computers that are attached.
    ----Not sure where to find all this in OS 10.5.8
    ----Under System Preferences>Network with Airport highlighted I click advanced and go to TCP/IP is see two addresses the ipv4 = 192.168.1.3 and the router=192.168.1.1
    (I have presumed that there are no other DNS servers are listed and the 192.166 bit was a typo)
    ---Correct i put a typo as i was not sure if it was secure to post.
    If the Computer can do Wifi as well as Ethernet it should not have both Connected to the Router at the same time. (iChat "Sees" it as two Connections to the Internet).
    --- The computer is only connected via Airport to the netgear router.

    I can log in to app store using my apple ID and correct password in my ipad 1.
    But when I do updates or install new apps, there is a message pop up Cannot log in to itunes.
    So I unable to download new apps or updates my existing apps. Can somebody help me???

    I just downloaded iTunes 10, and i have been trying for the past couple of days now to just login to the iTunes Store. When i attempt to login, an error message comes up that reads:
    iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. An unknown Error occurred (11556).
    this has been happening every time ive tried to log in.
    Does anyone else know what this could be?

    Don't worry about that! Apparently, Apple likes to mess with us from time to time! I just had to undo mine as well!

    If anyone can help it would be appreciated. I haven't found a solution on this disscussion board.
    I get the "iTunes cannot connect to the iTunes store the host is down. Make sure your network connection is active and try again". It is active. My comuter is a few weeks old. It worked before I upgraded to iTunes 7.1.1. Now I cannot even authorize my new computer to play the music I bought that is on my external hard drive. Any ideas? I already tried the troubleshooting apple suggests. I also tried to install a very old version of itunes but it wouldn't run.

  • Cannot log into iTunes account

    I have been trying for three days to log into my iTunes account and keep getting the message;
    "The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
    I can log in no problem from my laptop, and my iPod, but not from my desktop. My desktop is the pc that I sync my iPod with.
    Background:
    PC hard drive crashed recently so I have a new one. Reinstalled Win 7, etc. Ran recover program and transferred files to new hard drive.
    iPod had to also be restored during this procedure as it would not unlock with my password anymore. I restored it by syncing to my laptop.
    All computers are running Win7 Home Premium.

    If the songs were purchased from the iTunes Store, she can download fresh copies at no charge.  Songs obtained elsewhere will require other arrangements. 
    If you can recover the data on the drive, that would be the easiest.
