Cannot log in on Youtube app, despite correct details.

Whenever I try and log into the native Youtube app on my iPhone, it reports 'Authentication Failed" even though the details are 100% correct. Here's what I've done so far:
* Youtube.com accepts my username and password on both the desktop and iPhone web app.
* I've reset my Youtube password
* I get the same results over 3G or wifi (tried multiple networks, incl. Apple Store), so it is not my carrier or ISP blocking Youtube.
* A friend logged in with his account and the iPhone accepted it, so it isn't specific to the iPhone.
* I've used my own account on someone else's iPhone and it didn't work, once again ruling out my iPhone.
* I've 'unlocked' my account using the [Google Captcha page](https://www.google.com/accounts/UnlockCaptcha)
* I've even resorted to creating a new Google/Youtube account
None of these has helped. The only thing I can think of is that the account details are still propagating through Youtube's systems and has not yet came through to the 'iPhone section' of their database. I doubt that this is something that should even happen, but I'm lost as for what I can do.
Normally I would contact Youtube support, but there is no customer support for Youtube! What can I do?

Is the AppleID listed in Settings --> Store and Settings --> iCloud the same?
If it is a totally different ID and not a slight variation of yours, I would definitely take it back to the store. You may have bought a returned item that had been setup previously.

I cannot log into my YouTube account on my old iPod Touch with the old YouTube app

A few days ago i tried to log into the old YouTube app and it said that my information was incorrect. Ive tried all my usernames and passwords and nothing works. I have the old iPod Touch and havent upgraded to the newest operating system. I have tried downloading the new YouTube app with no success due to the old operating system. Ive tried my old username and password before i had to put in my Google info. Nothing has been working. I really dont want to have to buy another iPod just to watch videos because thats the only think i can do with my iPod now. Its in great shape considering its age and no physical damage at all. It just stopped logging me into YouTube and i dont know what to do. If someone could help me resolve my problem id greatly appreciate it.

I have the same problem few days before but solved.
If your google account has set up 2-step verification, switch it off and restart the youtube on your ipad/ipod/iphone devices. then u can log in.

Creative Cloud Teams member cannot log in via Desktop app

Weird problem I have. Our company have 9 seat teams account, and one of our users cannot log in via the desktop app and use apps. Have worked just fine for the last year until today.
He has the old Application Manager installed as well as he had upgraded from older apps, and we are renewing our yearly subscription these days. Could any of that be the problem. Odd thing is, he is the only team member that has this problem.
He can log in to his account on the web just fine.

Cannot log into iTunes and App Store since 6.1 update (iphone 5)

I see many other of you having trouble with App Store in other discussions (App Store shows blank), me too.
And I also cannot log into iTunes through Settings-->iTunes & App Stores. After putting in my Apple ID and password it just doesn't go anywhere.
All of these started since I updated my iphone 5 from 6.0.2 to 6.1 yesterday. I've also updated my ipad 3 but it works just fine.
Any one can help?

Have you tried doing a reset on your iPhone? Press the Home button and the Power button at the same time and hold them down until the Silver Apple appears. Once it has fully reset, try to log into iTunes again on your phone.

Have you changed the details in Settings, Store? Check that, then restart the phone (hold Home and Sleep until the Apple logo appears)

Error 101 is generally not a login error but a connection issue.
Since you can post here, your username and password must be correct.
I would suggest you have a look at a few of the FAQs on these error codes. Remember that your internet router may also have a firewall built in that might need configued:

Cannot Log in to YouTube or Search

I have tried to login several times using multiple YouTube accounts but it always says that my information is incorrect.
Also, when I just try to connect to YouTube without login in I see no results. If I click on "Featured" or any other option, I just get the spinning wheel.
Other than that, my Apple TV is working great. I can stream movies and connect to my Mac. Software is all up to date (4.1.1)

I had the same problem... I changed my YouTube password to something without numbers and symbols and it started working.
I just submitted the below to the Apple bug department.

I do not think the Apple TV can recognize some symbols in YouTube passwords. (And maybe other account passwords?)
Today I bought an Apple TV. I set it up fine and linked my Apple ID, Netflix, home computers, iPad, etc. Everything worked. Then I tried to link my YouTube account...
I kept getting an error on Apple TV saying my YouTube login was incorrect. I tried the password multiple times but kept getting the error. I was able to login to my YouTube account with my PC, iMac, and iPad, but for some reason Apple TV was not working. My spouse verified that I was typing the password correctly.
My password was something like this: High&goodbye5757
(That is not the real password but follows the correct format.)
I called Apple Support and then had me restore the Apple TV. That did not fix the problem.
Then I changed my YouTube password to "aaabbbcccddd" and suddenly it worked. (Then I changed it to something more secure - but not using any symbols - and that worked too.)
I think the problem is that Apple TV cannot send symbols like "&" to YouTube (and other accounts?). That seems to be the reason it was not working because when I did not use "&" in my password, it worked fine.
Perhaps you can check your code to ensure Apple TV is correctly transmitting the "&" symbol.

Cannot log into YouTube using iPad app

Ok, I'm stumped. No matter what I try, I cannot log into my YouTube account using the iPad app. I cannot login using the app on my iPhone either. I've tried the application specific password and that didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. If that does nothing to solve the issue, then it is likely times to restore the iPad to its factory settings.

Are you typing your Username or your email account? You can't log into the YouTube app with your email account, only your username.

How do i change my itunes id as the previous email is invalid and am unable to log in to update apps on ipad

my ipad 2 originally had a road runner email and id. I no longer use their service and cannot log into itune or apps to update appllications. it is ios 8.1. I've completely wiped out my ipad and reformatted as a new user, but the old email still pops up when I needed to update my apps. the password wouldn't work because the ipad has new info on it, but I can't get the log in to disappear. I've added a new email to have info sent to that as a rescue and that has worked and been verified by apple, but the iTunes store and apps store keeps wanting the password for the old app. how do I change what itune and the app store say is my apple id. I've made those changes at the apple site following the format it requires. I am frankly stumped

You should be able to update the primary email address (the rescue email address is not used as the account's id) on an account by logging into the account via the 'manage your apple id' button on http://appleid.apple.com, logging in via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad and logging into it.

You cannot download the original YouTube app. There is an iPhone version in the App Store but its not the same. Google is reportedly working on an iPad YouTube app.
