Cannot log in to Mozilla Support. It won't accept my username or password. Reset password email says my account is already activated.

Tried accessing Mozilla Support Forums for Firefox Desktop Support, which I have used many times. It would not accept my username and password, claiming they were incorrect. I tried the Password Reset feature, which opened a window saying that accounts created before December 2010 may have issues logging in. Please reset your password below. It instructs me to enter my email address so that it can send me instructions for setting a new password. I enter my email address. It says we've sent an email to any account using this address. Please follow the link in the email to reset your password. I go to my email. Nothing is there. I wait, but still nothing.
I go back to the sign in page, and click on the link - I didn't get a confirmation email - under Login Problems. A new window opens which tells me that to activate my account I must first confirm my email address. I reenter my email address. I get an email from Mozilla right away, telling me that my account is already activated, and it gives me a link to log in. I click on that link. I enter my username and password again. Same error message denying me access and telling me to enter a correct username and password. I try this a couple more times with no success. Same repeating errors.
So I try to create a NEW account using a different username with my email address. It will not let me do that. It says that email address is already taken, and it will not allow me to proceed. I ultimately had to set up a new account with an email address that I never use, just so I could access the Help features. I am exasperated. I do not want to post my Questions using an email address that I do not use, and have to open another application to even access. I want to be able to receive a message from Mozilla in my normal everyday email address, if someone has replied to my post. But since Mozilla will not let me use my existing email address for the new account I set up, I cannot do that.
This is very frustrating. Mozilla will not allow me access to my original user account that was already set up with my preferred email address. And Mozilla won't let me create a new user account with my preferred email address. Now I am stuck with a new user account that is linked to an email address that I never use and which is not easily accessible to me. As a last resort, I access my new user account in hopes that it will allow me to change the email address that is linked to the account, but of course, that is not an option.
Can someone please help me to access my original account with my original username and password? If a password reset is necessary, then I should not be getting a reply email telling me my account is already activated (see below). If it is activated, then why can't I log in? What is going on? Please help me. Thank you.

I use only support.mozilla.org and never used any other websites. However, the same problem here. My ID and Password are not accepted. Had to create a new account with a temporary email to use Support - it would not allow me to use my main email, because "it is used by another account". Try to reset password - receive no email (even though there is a confirmation on the website that email to reset password has been sent). At the same time can easily receive a confirmation about User ID and account activation. Thus, the account is completely locked, and I can not use my email address for a new one. Please fix this problem.

    But the real question is why for the past year did the passwords work and then all of the sudden after this anomaly the disk password doesn't work?  I'm not 100% sure of what my configuration was, but I know that most of the time it required one password -- supervisor, and occasionally it asked for 2 -- disk password as well I believe.  This may have been related to the Password on Restart setting I think -- asking for the disk password on cold vs. warm boot.  But I know both were exactly the same.  But after this incident only the Supervisor password worked.

    Actually the iTunes app on a Mac is divided up into a number of separate apps on an iOS device. Music and videos are from the iTunes app. Apps and games are from the App Store app. Books are from the iBooks app. Magazines are from the Newsstand app. Podcasts are from the Podcast app. Etc.

    Obviously my username and password are correct since I'm able to login in here, but now when I try to do anything in iTunes in regards to new downloads, it doesn't accept my login. I get the error "FieldName: null. java.lang.Exception". Sounds like a programming error.

    This is my work computer, and it started 3 days ago. It won't accept the name and password of any account in the office, except for the localadmin log in. That works just fine. I have tried all the basic troubleshooting like restarting, unplugging the computer, unplugging the network cable. Doesn't help. The login screen shakes like I typed in the wrong password.
    It is connect to a network with other macs and PCs. We use Windows Small Business Server 2003, I don't know if that has anything to do with the issue.
    Today the problem also started affecting a Mac Book Pro, which is also connected to the network.
    Is there an update we are missing? What's going on?

    Are you authenticating to an Active Directory server? If so, that's where the problem is.

    That's great that you could sign in now.
    I think issue you faced in signing was because email verification was not done before. And when you signed from web client, you might have received a note asking you to do verification. It solved the logging issues you were facing on iPhone as well.

    I am beginning to see more threads that suggest that something may be up with the Google Servers.
    In iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts > Server settings tab try changing the port to 443 (With SSL still selected)
    It may be that in a couple of days the Google Servers will get back in sync.

  • I am receiving an email saying my account is overdue and cannot access my bill.

    I recently switched to another carrier for my cellular service. I have been waiting for my final bill in the mail to pay it, however I haven't received one yet. Two days ago I got an email saying my account is overdue to pay it and I have four options to pay it. The first is to sign into Verizon, which I can't do anymore because it will not accept my user ID or old telephone number. The second is to visit the Pay My Bill website. The website does not accept my account number that I put in. The third option is to dial #PMT. Can't do that anymore because I don't have Verizon. The fourth option is to call the Verizon Financial number, which I did but it does not accept my account number I put in.
    I am just trying to get a copy of my bill so I can pay for it and would very much like to speak to a real person so that I can pay my bill and avoid it going to collections, but apparently I can't access anything. When I call the Verizon customer service number, I can't get on the phone with a real person without having my account number, that doesn't work, or my telephone number, which is no longer with Verizon. And I can't email Verizon about this issue because there is no "customer service" email address available.
    Can someone from Verizon please assist me with this issue so that I can pay the bill and be on my way? Thank you.

    If you go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select that email account then is 'mail' currently set 'off' for the account ?

    Yes I have put in the correct password, its all numbers so can't get it wrong really.
    It has connected before as has my iPod and that won't connect either. I have checked that they aren't on the blocked list of the wi fi. Managed to download the new version of iOS and that hasn't made a difference.
    I have the wi fi plugged directly into the computer rather than the booster hub as the computer won't connect to it when its in the hub. I did get the iPad to connect to the internet when it twas in the hub but once I upgraded the iOS it won't accept the wifi password in the hub either.

Software updates have been done regularly.  They think that it shouldn't come up "connect to iTunes" when the Danish sim is installed.

    Yes - it was from a proper Apple Store.
    I only purchased the unit - no special requests and then went to O2 and hooked up with a scolling monthly sim.
    I used that sim for about 6 months and then moved out here.  I took on two PAYG sims, one for Qatar and one for UAE but neither are accepted.
    When connect to my mbp, the phone screen shows the iphone connect cable and iTunes picks it up. The message then says " must insert original sim to register"  My point - the original sim, was completely independant from the phone but I cant get past this point to do anything further.
    Any thoughts?
