Cannot log in to my MacBook Pro (OS X Leopard)

I mistakenly changed the access setting for "everyone" to "no access" and now when I start my laptop and the log on screen appears, I input my password and then it attempts to load but I get a gray screen and a pinwheel just spins (I let it run for several hours and nothing happens). I've tried to start with start up disk but nothing lets me log in. I know I'm an idiot, but is there anyway to get in so I can change access setting back to full access???

i think you can try holding down command-s when starting up (before the apple logo appears) to get into the root directory. then, mount the disk with /sbin/mount -uw /, then typing in sudo passwd admin or whatever your admin name is, type in a new password and type exit to let the computer start up normally. try with this new password and see if it works.

Just figured it out! Here it goes:
Click on where you find the little AirPort sign (on iMac it is on top right hand side next to the date and time).
Go down to: Open Network Preferences
Click on: Advanced
Then on DNS
Then click on the + sign and put the following numbers: 8.8.8.8
click again on the + sign and put: 8.8.4.4
Worked for me! Hope it helps :-)

New, out of the box, the AirPort Extreme is broadcasting a wireless signal with a name like Apple Network xxxxxx.
If you want to configure the AirPort Extreme using wireless, you must log on to this network first from your Mac.
Click the AirPort icon at the top of the screen, click Join Other Network, click Show Networks, select the Apple Network xxxxxx and log on. No password is required. Then open AirPort Utility.
Or
If you have a spare Ethernet cable handy, connect it from your Mac to one of the LAN <-> ports on the AirPort Extreme to establish a direct connection. Then open AirPort Utility.

Found the answer on the HP site. It's the original software that works with this printer OS X 10.6!!

What Mac? What version of OSX? Exit code 1 basically means that your system is not compatible at all. As a start, run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and try again - assuming you are on a supported system.

After I successfully install the adobe photoshop elements 12 for mac, I try to open organizer and a window pops up that says

I have checked for any updates on my Mac and it is up to date.
I have tried reloading and am still getting the same result.
I can open Editor, but not Organizer.
I am running Mac OSX version 10.6.2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with 4 GB memory, all standard stuff that came in the computer and I have no security software running when I do this.
