Cannot Log-in to Yahoo Messenger

I have been using Yahoo Messenger application which I have downloaded through Blackberry Application World for months now. However, for the past three (3) weeks, I could no longer log-in to Yahoo Messenger on my blackberry 8520 phone. I could sign-in to Yahoo Messenger using desktop computer and laptop but when I sign-in to Yahoo Messenger thru my blackberry phone, it always says “Invalid Password/yahoo I.D.” or “cannot connect to server”. I have tried several ways such as the following: a) I have uninstalled the Yahoo Messenger Application and then re-installed it several times; b) I have changed my yahoo password; c) I have deleted all the applications and websites that I have authorized to access my Yahoo! Account in the “Manage Apps and Website Connections” in my Yahoo! Account Info but all to no avail. Kindly help me on this. Thank you very much.

I cannot log into my yahoo mail account from my iphone4. The password does not have any special characters. On my PC there is no problem.
Also cannot configure Add Yahoo mail. I woould get a message, stating "Verification required. Log into your Yahoo! account at www.yahoo.com". when I attempt this I get "Invalid ID/Password".

Tried eveyrhting and this was the way that fixed it for me --
if you are having an issue adding the yahoo mail account on an iphone/ ipad / ipod.
In the app store download the yahoo mail app for iphone (it works on ipads and ipods as well.. but there's only an iphone version). After downloading it - open and sign in. It's likely it will say that your yahoo account is 'locked' due to suspicious activity - follow the prompts to unlock it.
Now add the yahoo account under the ipad mail settings.
It should work in the regular ipad, iphone, ipod mail application now.

I cannot log in to Yahoo mail

I have version 6.0.2 of Firefox. Within the last 5 days, I cannot log in to my Yahoo mail account. I go from the Yahoo Homepage, to their mail portal and enter my username and password. Then I attempt to hit the submit button and nothing happens. It appears that the submit button does not work. IE it does not give any indication that I am hovering over it with the mouse. This does not happen in IE 6.0. Also is there a way to go back more than one page at a time by hitting the left arrow button?

I found that Babylon had changed the proxy setting. Try going to Tools/Options/Advanced/Network/Settings and select "No proxy".
This has helped but things are still slow and I suspect that some other changes have been made to the Firefox settings.
Installing unauthorised software on your PC should be made illegal. I will avoid Babylon forever so they have done themselves no favours by trying to be smart!

I cannot log into my yahoo mail from my IPad. I can, however log on using my Dell.

I cannot log on to my yahoo mail using my IPad as normal. I changed my yahoo password and it still doesn't work. However, it works on my Dell using my new password. Help!

If deleting and adding it back in doesn't work, try to just wait it out. Yahoo messes with their servers on a regular basis and when they mess with the one your account is on, your account has issues. They often resolve in a few hours to a day or so.
Sometimes you just have to wait it out because if it's on their end nothing you do will resolve it.

Cannot log out of yahoo mail comletely with firefox for the past two week or so

Recently I have been unable to log out of yahoo mail completely with firefox. I get the following error message: "The connection has timed out. The server at us.lrd.yahoo.com is taking too long to respond." I have more than one yahoo mail acct. and cannot log into a different acct until the first one is closed out completely. On the error message page there is "Try Again" button. This has occasionally helped but rarely.
I have tried opening FF in safe mode but this has not helped at all. I have used two other browsers to access my yahoo mail to see it the problem was with yahoo or FF. Both browsers repeatedly logged out of yahoo mail without a problem.

I don't think it's a Firefox issue. I switched to Chrome because the newest Yahoo Mail just doesn't work in Firefox, and Mozilla says its a Yahoo problem, which I believe. The email works great while I'm in Chrome, but I can't sign out without going to the Yahoo home page and using that sign out link. Conversely, I CAN sign out in Firefox (been flipping back & forth the past few days trying to figure it out). I just tried it in Internet Explorer and still can't sign out. I never had any Yahoo mail problems in any of these three browsers until the latest version of Yahoo mail came out, and now I just close the browser to sign out -- it's faster, for me anyway.

Cannot read messages in yahoo messenger, yet my contact can read my messages on their messenger

When I open Yahoo Messenger, I put in my message and hit send. The message does not show on my page, but does show on the page of who I am sending message to. The only way I know I am getting a message from someone, it shows on the lower right side of my page, however the message page does open with no message.

I too am having the same problem with my Powermac G5. I can hear the whistle that invites me but nowhere can I find a picture nor is there a invitation for me to click in. When I click View my Cam, I get the same results. I am also using Yahoo Messenger beta 3.0.

Cannot log in to yahoo mail, gmail, facebook, discussion forums

Over the past week I've had trouble logging into yahoo mail, gmail, facebook and certain discussion forums.
I can't even get to the yahoo mail or gmail log in page.
I type my log in info on the facebook page and press enter and nothing happens.
I've tried everything to solve this problem: I've deleted cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite-journal; deleted all my cookies; typed the appropriate website addresses in the exceptions window; removed my add-ons and themes; and even re-installed Firefox.
Nothing has worked.

I've done all those things.
I forgot to add, that I even started Firefox in safe mode and I still have the problem.

I cannot log into my yahoo email account. It keeps asking for my password. This hasn't been a problem before. I can log into my email from IE. Thanks, Paula

In 10.6, I could remove old YM users from my archive. In 10.7 and 10.8 I cannot find a YM user log. How do I remove yahoo messenger users from my archive?

In OS 10.6, I could locate the log for my yahoo messenger in the Library under Application Support/Logs/_________________ and delete messages AND users from my archive. With OS 10.7 and OS 10.8, I am only able to delete conversations one at a time and unable to delete old users at all. I am also unable to find out where new conversations are stored. Can anyone help? It is likely they're still stored in the same location. However, in Lion and above, Apple has hidden the Library folder by default.
To find it, hold down the option key and select the "Go" menu item, and Library will appear as an option in that list. You can then select it and from there navigate to Application Support/Logs/XXX to delete stuff.

Do you subscribe to a BlackBerry data plan? Are you able to use other BlackBerry IM clients?
If so, try reinstalling the latest version of Yahoo IM by going to www.blackberry.com/im on your device browser.
If it still fails you may want to contact your wireless service provider.

Yahoo Messenger Issue

HELP!! I changed my Yahoo password, and I can no longer log in using Yahoo Messenger on my BlackBerry. When I input the User ID and new password, I get the message "Cannot connect to server." I have uninstalled and reinstalled Yahoo multiple times, as well re-booting my phone. Please help.

i don’t think it is because you have changed your password , as i am having the same problem and the comments on the app have all said they are too i think there is a problem all round not just on your part or mine and blackberry or yahoo need to fix it as i believe many are suffering from the issue. i have never befor suffered any problems with the app and have deleted rebooted reinstalled eerything possible to do on my part which has solved this issue for others in the past.
i hope for the manny of us who are having problems that blackberry get their act together and realise that there is something wrong and it needs to be fixed

Cannot directly open the browser from the icon. "problem loading webpage" and "timed out" are the messages. Access was accomplished by using yahoo messenger and opening my email. if I attempt to open a new page, I recieve the aforementioned warnings.

Connect the printer to your Wireless Network and use Bonjour to detect nd connect it.
That's wrong. AirPrint is not just for iOS devices. Since HP doesn't provide drivers for this printer, they say to use AirPrint:

i use a Tour 9630 first and i have 2 problems
first problem
i downloaded hotmail messenger, google talk and yahoo messenger. i can log into all the rest other than my yahoo messenger. when i try to log in, it tell me that data services unavailable. i dont know what to do anymore. pls help.
second problem
my husband used the phone for about a week before his office got him another one so naturally i got upgraded. the problem is that the telephone number attached to the phone is his. when i try to make a call or i go to my call log by pressing the green button, his number stares me in the face. please can you tell me where to go to change this number, the only place i found was when i clicked the green button and then menu then status.it took me to the phone info. problem was that i couldnt edit the number. PLS HELP ME.
