Cannot log in - tried on multiple devices.
I cannot log in (on my desktop), or rather it seems to log in, but then imediately logs out again, no error, no message no nothing, it just logs in then out again. First I tried un-installing and downloading the latest version, re-installing, but the result is the same. Then I tried the %appdata% thing, made no difference. Also tried resetting the password. Didn't work.
Then I tried on my ipad, same result. Then I tried on on the laptop, same result of course. It logs in then out right away on all devices.

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recover use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:

Hi, I upgraded to premium yesterday afternoon and ever since, I cannot log into my account on any of the spotify applications. I can log in online but it gives me a "Username or password is incorrect" error every time on every device (tried Mac, PC, Android and reinstalled on all). Quite confused with this issue, have reset my password multiple times to see if it would take on the server, have made sure any devices were logged off from my account page, and have removed all previously registered offline devices.
Nevermind, I solved it, was uing email as username not my actual username *facepalm*.

I cannot log into icloud after password reset on all devices
I recently reset my password for my apple id/icloud.
Now I cannot seem to log into any of my devices. iphone 6, ipad mini retina, and macbook pro retina.
on some devices I have been able to log out of the account but I can't seem to log back in. The ipad mini retina is having problems logging out of icloud.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.I am stuck in a loop on my ipad - I have followed the instructions in your article above - I keep trying to delete icloud but cannot because it still wants me to login with my old id/email which is then rejected because it no longer exists. STUCK. What am I to do? Now none of my Apple devices will sync and this is extremely irritating - to say the least.
I assume that I wont be able to access the backup on my computer either because of this - otherwise I would delete my ipad completely and start again - and I really cannot see why, in this age of hackers etc you wonderful APPLE people have not sorted this problem out.
I had to change my email addresses because someone with too much time on their hands hacked me. Now I appear to be stuck.

I have multiple devices with the same cerificate, once I have an exception for one, FF denys access to the others. I cannot change the certificates, I need to stop FF blocking them.

I have one computer with a logon for Kids and one for Adults. There is a touch and nano that was added to a single itunes account tied to my email on the adult logon and the shuffle that is on the kids account. I can't seem to get the multiple devices access to all the songs with out erase and re-sync error message when not using the right device on the assigned logon to the computer - why and can we change this?
It sounds like each Windows user has it's own iTunesLibrary.itl file. If that is the case, then you are correct, the correct device must be connected when logged in with the correct login.
If all Windows logins share an iTunesLibrary.itl file... then it does not matter which login is used or which device is connected. -
Why can't I log into my Apple account from my iPhone? My phone shows two apps needing updates and I've tried five times to log in. I KNOW I'm using the right password and username, and can log in via computer just fine, but cannot log in to update my apps! What's going on???

I have restored from time machine and tried every method of restarting nothing lets me sign in the computer imputs about 20 characters, I have scanned for virus, negative I have restored from time machine, can't download new 10X as I cannot log in to get it. Any ideas?
Hey I managed to figure this out about an hour before I got your response, wow a two year old keyboard and it's toast. I have a Kensington keyboard I use with my Ipad so hooked that up, tried wirelessly, the went with a usb cord. This has been the strangest 24 hours ever on my mac. It was entering all kinds of jibberish into the log on box and since I could not log on I thought it was other problems. So, the good thing is I'm back to Maverick and not using Yose. which has not been a real good experience so far. The chat with the tech at apple didn't have a clue, put me through two restores. Oh, well live and learn thanks for the response so quickly, you were spot on.

My MacBook Air, once pressed the power button, comes up with a file containing a question mark. I have tried re-starting it but this logo continues to appear and will not go. I cannot log onto my mac. Any suggestions as to what this is please?
You need to reinstall OS X:
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -
