"CANNOT LOG INTO ACCOUNT AT THIS TIME?"
Hey,
My computer won't allow me to log into my account. Each time it type my password in a pop up window comes up and says "You cannot log into "bkaster" at this time. This started to happen after my battery was knocked out accidentally while the computer was on. When I turned it back on this message came up and it has been coming up ever since. I am a college student and next week is finals week and all my lecture notes are on this computer. PLEASE HELP!!!Hi bkaster and Welcome to Apple Discussions ...
This just might not be a battery related issue. Since you have a PBookG4 running Leopard, which takes up a huge amount of hard drive space, make sure you have a minimum of 15% free space on the drive. I'm assuming your PBookG4 drive is 40GB? 60GB?
After you try Clea Rees advice, open a Finder window. The amount of free space is displayed at the bottom. You can also view this information by using Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities). Open DU, select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, then look down toward the bottom and you will see:
Capacity and Availability.
It's just a good thing to keep in mind when trouble shooting.

Upgraded my iPhone 4s and The New iPad to iOS 6 and cannot log into my Universities wifi!
Just as it states above. I just updated my iPhone 4S and The New iPad to iOS 6. I tried logging into my Universities wifi network and normally it requires a login page. The page to login does not load like it used to. The page that does pop up shows a bunch of errors. Not sure why this would be happening. Please help! I highly depend on my iPad. Thanks in advance.
Thank you for the quick reply,
The wifi does not automatically load upon entering the school. I have to select it from the list of available wifi connections. I tried re-booting, clearing my internet settings (cache and cookies and history). I know others at the school running 5.1 are still able to connect so I know there's not an issue on the schools side. I did talk to several iOS 6 owners today and all are experiencing the same issue. -
HI, I CANNOT LOG INTO THE MAIL, I FILL OUT EVERYTHING AND IT TELLS ME EITHER USERNAME OR PASSWORD IS INCORRECT BUT I KNOW IT IS NOT. THEN I GO INTO GOOGLE TO VERIFY AND I T WORKS. I DON';T KNOW WHY IT DOESNT WORK!
If this is only happening in Gmail, you may need to go here: https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha and fill out the form to unlock the account for mobile connections.

"Cannot log into Web service" error when tying to use Wifi to connect to Google Drive or Facebook
We have a relatively new Canon Powershot s120. Up until a few days ago, it worked just fine to connect to the Wifi and upload pictures to both Google Drive and Facebook. Now, every time I try to connect, I get a message "Cannot log into Web service"
I have already tried removing Google Drive from the Camera and re-adding it. I went into the Canon Image Gateway website and disconnected and then reconnected the service. That didn't do anything.
Would really appreciate any tips anyone has.
Thanks!Problem sorted - there is a new set of terms and conditions which came out on the 6th August.
You have to log in under your current user name & password and agree to them and it works again. I spent a frustrating hour doiung this until I found out that this had happened! -

Worked for me! Hope it helps :-) -

Cannot log into BT WiFi Account
Hi,
When i go to log into my account or load up the BT Opene zone page to add the details I keep coming up against log in details.
https://www.btopenzone.com:8443/selfcare/index.htm
I type in my username and password and it just says that it is incorrect? And yet I can log into my BT account, log into here, and everywhere... but I CANNOT log into the bt openzone.
very frustrating to say the least.
Help meeeeeeThe log-in details for MyBT and BT WiFi are not necessarily the same. To log in to a BT WiFi hotspot you need your primary email address and password; it's the one you need to access BT Yahoo! Mail. Only a btinternet.com address will do, others such as btopenworld.com will not work. Neither are appropriate for the link you posted as that's for non-BT Broadband customers.
To get to the internet via BT WiFi as a BT BB customer, you need to connect to a hotspot. When you then try to connect to the internet you will be presented with a landing page where you have to confirm that you're a BB customer (the default) and enter your log-in details as above.
You can click the white star next to this message if you think it was helpful. -
Cannot log into AD on Mountain Lion. Please help! I got the logs
My company has been experiencing this problem ever since Mountain Lion released.
The problem is, we cannot log into AD on all of our MAC who currently runs Mountain Lion. We, however, can log into AD fine with Lion and Snow Leopard just fine. We only use AD, we don't use Open Directory or have any Apple server.
I have gather some logs using the SSH. Please help me view the logs and let me know what's going on if possible.
Here are the steps that I performed before capture these logs.
I format the hard drive and installed a new OS X 10.8.2 on the hard drive using the Recovery Mode (Hold down option Key while boot).
I created a new computer name call ittest-mac3 in AD and assigned to proper OU. I changed the computer name under System Preferences ==> Sharing to "ittest-mac3".
3. I bind this Macbook Pro to our Active Directory via xyz.com. The bind was successful. I enabled "Create mobile account at login", "Required confirmation before creating a mobile account", " Force local home directory on start up disk", " Use UNC path from active directory to derive network home location", "Default user shell: /bin/bash/. Network protocol to be used: smb:
After I reboot the Mac client, I was unable to log into it using our regular AD user account (consider all of our employees has regular account).
I created 2 test accounts for Mac on Active Directory, they are "mac test" and "mac test 2".
With "mac test" account, I configured everything the same as our regular account in AD. Which I was not able to log into the Mac client using this account.
With “mac test 2” account, I configured everything the same as our regular account in AD EXCEPT for UNIX Attributes. I was successfully logged into the Mac client using this user account.
So the problem is ... set the Unix Attributes for NIS domain on the AD account prevent everyone of us in our company to log into AD on any client that have Mountain Lion OSX installed.
Here are the logs:
Log1. This logs showed successful when log into AD on a Mountain Lion OSX using an AD account that don't have UNIX attributes setting configure.

We only have 1 single domain, 1 domain forest, no subdomains, only alias. I had replied to the other post as well. But I am happy to paste it here in case anyone want to read it.
So, after a few months of testing, capture and sending logs back and forth to Apple Engineers, we found out there is a setting in AD, under User Account that prevent us to log into AD from Mountain Lion. If you would go to your AD server, open up a user account properties, then go to Account tab, the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" option is checked. As soon as I uncheck that option, immediately I was able to log into AD on the Mac client. Apple engineers copied all my AD settings and setup a test environment on their end and match exact mine AD environment. They was able to reproduce this issue.
The bad part about this is... our environment required the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" is checked in AD, in order for our users to login into some of our Unix and Linux services. Which mean that it is impossible for us to remove that check mark because most, if not all of them some way or another require to login into applications that run on Unix and Linux. Apple is working to see if they can come up with a fix. Apparently, no one has report this issue except us. I believe most of you out there don't have that check mark checked in your environment... Anyone out there have any suggestion to by pass or have a work around for this? -
Cannot log into iMessage on iPad
Hi,
Strange thing happening: I cannot log into iMessage using my appleid. I can use this same appleid to
- buy apps on this very same ipad
- sign in to iMessage on my iPhone (ios6) or mac (mavericks).
The error my Ipad gives me is username / password not correct
This is an ipad 2 16Gbyte 7.1.1.
I tried to restart my ipad, restarted the iMessage app serveral times...
Any idea ?!
RUdiTried all that.
It is really weird, as the ipad having the issues is on the same network as the mac that works.
the network (internet connectivity) just works (can surf, and buy apps (with the samen uid/pwd
as appleID)
The errormessage tells me that the username / password combination is wrong, nothing
else, which is really weird. (really sure I have the correct UID/pwd ! (the one that works on
the mac))
the ipad is a wifi only one.

Cannot log into my Amazon account on my iPad.
i cannot log into my Amazon account on iPad. when I try to enter my password, the reset password page comes up. I've logged out and back in, but the same thing happens. It happens on both my iPads, but not my laptop. I can log in on laptop.
can anyone help?I have exactly the same problem since I installed ios 8.1. Wish I'd never done it as its made a complete mess of what was a working ipad3, now its unstable verging on unusable using Safari which was my prime reason for buying it.
A simple cure would be to give us the ability to roll back to a working operating system i.e. ios 6 until this utter piece of £*&p that is ios 8 has been fully tested and is fit to use.
However as a short time fix the Amazon app does work. -
Cannot log into or reset WRT54G but everything else is fine?!?
I have a WRT54G v8 that works fine, routs the internet connection just fine to my System, my uncles System, and then also to a Vonage modem for phone service. But from my system I cannot log into 192.168.1.1. The page never comes up, it always times out. Same on the other system. Both are hard wired, no wireless. I really need to be able to access ports and forwarding and what not. BUT, I also cannot seem to reset the thing. I had DMZ enabled for the vonage, and if I'm not mistaken, that is NOT the default setting yet every time I hold reset for 30+ seconds, the DMZ light comes back on. Can anyone offer help on this? Thanks.
(Mod Note: Edited due to non-compliance of forum guidelines.)
Message Edited by giantherockstar on 03-25-2008 02:21 PMTurn off the modem while you're trying to access the router. And turn off any software firewalls or browser proxy settings.

I have another computer that a virus may have taken over and I cannot log into it anymore. I just downloaded Itunes on a new computer but most of my songs are not on there. Is there a way to still access or find those songs? Remotely or another way? Or do I need to take it to a tech to get my files off of my hard drive?
Edit > Preferences > Store check Music under Automatic Downloads.
Open the iTunes Store from left hand column, then select Purchasedfrom the column on the right, click the Not In My Library button and select the tunes you want to download again.
That said, you seem to be under a misapprehension as to how iTunes works, or at least how it has worked in the past. It has, until recently, been up to you take care of your purchases once they have been downloaded. You had a one-time download which you were reminded to back up. With the recent change to this policy you can at least download your store purchases again, but having a personal backup of your iTunes store purchases, stuff purchased elsewhere and files ripped from your CDs will still be preferable to gathering all the stuff together again in the event of a disaster.
For a backup strategy see this User Tip.

When a pop up window comes up it is - search bookmarks and history window! I cannot log into my bank as login button should open new window to log in but I get the search page. I cannot see larger images as again I get the search bookmarks and history page etc. Happens on all options that should open new page. Can you please advise what I should do? Also can you go back to previous version? Error console eg
