Cannot log out of a Box Office Session

Help. I am stuck in a box office site that will not let me order tickets from other sites. The web site (TicketsPlus.com) said it is my problem as the site times out after you close it. I have been stuck there since Friday. Plus the tickets I ordered for a Broadway show and paid &15 FedEx fee still haven't come. I think I've been scammed. I have cleared the history and cache, shut down, disconnected the modem, turned off Javascript (which is the message I get about still being in a box office session and to close out. Any ideas? I have tried everything.

Hi,
No, you cannot sign out Outlook client.
In the upper right hand corner, click the little X to close the Outlook client or disconnect it from the internet, both will disconnect Outlook client from the email server.

  • I want to sign out of current apple id and into another one but I no longer have access to my current email address so I cannot log out

I want to sign out of current apple id and into another one that I own but I no longer have access to my current email address so I cannot log out (It is with an internet provider who I have just unsubscribed with)  This is on an iPhone 5S, on iOS 8.1.

That email address is still a valid Apple ID. If you do not remember the passcode, sign onto Manage your Apple ID (Apple - My Apple ID) with that email address, and then click on Reset Password. You will be asked to answer your Security Questions in order to reset the password. If you do not remember the answers to your Security Questions, contact Apple Support to reset them for you:

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back.  You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.

  • Cannot Log Out or Shut Down

After extended sleep mode, I cannot log out and computer will not shut down.
The first symptom of a problem that I noticed was that after waking from an extended sleep (i.e. overnight), the screen saver no longer worked and would not auto-start. I thought this was a problem with the screen saver and called Apple support. During the troubleshooting process, I was instructed to shut down the computer, but could not do so. I was forced to hold power button to force shut down. We ran disk utility and repair permission in an attempt to correct the screen saver issue. After rebooting the screen saver worked, but this issue remained a watch item.
The next day, after the computer awakened from auto sleep mode (overnight), same problem. Screen saver failed to start, I could not start it from the assigned hot corner, and I could not log out or shut down. When selecting log out or shut down, error messages would appear to the effect "log out timed out because Mail would not quit." The Mail program was not active in the dock, and when I tried to Force Quit, it would not display in the list of programs to force quit. I also noticed that Time Machine could not find the external drive. I had to hold down power button and reboot to resume normal operation.
    I cannot resolve these problems.
Here is my configuration: Mac Mini G4 1.5GHz with 1GB memory. Upgraded from Tiger to Leopard. I have an Admin account & parental controlled account. Power save is set to sleep automatically after 1 hour, and screen saver is set to auto-start after 5 minutes. Computer wakes daily at 5:30 am. I have set a password for screen saver. Time Machine is set to "On" to backup to 250GB LaCie Firewire external hard drive. No content barrier software installed. I have removed all programs from Startup folder.
I plan to call Apple support again, but in the meantime, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there EEP1 - I have had the same problem with my Mac Mini for years and cannot solve it either. When my Mac comes awake from sleep Mail usually looks for new mail and hangs indefinitely. I try and quit or force quit and this will stay in the dock. I'm not sure whether Mail is the problem or not, but it seems to take out actions associated with file control in the Finder [saving, quitting, shutting down, force quitting etc.]. It's really frustrating and I'm sure it's not healthy to force restart each time it does this.
Did you manage to call Apple again? Or find any other soloutions? It's a tricky search term to define when looking for advice from forums!
    Many thanks, Ben

  • Cannot log out of BT Openzone

I recently purchased a BT openzone package of 4000 minutes over 30 days which has been working fine.
However when I logged in today, it connected fine but now when I click to log out I get this message:
    Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.btopenzone.com:8443/home?CPURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.btopenzone.com%2F. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:Reload this web page later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request.
and so now I cannot log out! I have to go to work in a minute and so I am worried that it will keep counting down my minutes although I want to log out! Any suggestions?

While not excusing avoidable shortcomings, I reckon that paying separately for any wifi service is not a good idea unless you can regularly access a hotspot that you know is reliable. Hotspots are notoriously flaky (especially BT Fon, relying as it does on hub owners playing ball), and I regard the service included with BT Broadband as a handy extra rather than a must-have.
A mobile dongle is far more dependable, as is tethering a computer to a smartphone or setting up a phone as a wifi hotspot.

  • Power Button doesn't work and cannot Log Out.

    Hi,
Strange thing: my power button does not work and I cannot even log out or restart or shut it down from the menu! Everytime I need to restart, I have to either force it or hold the button for five minutes, but nothing else works!
    Your help is much appreciated.
    Have a great time!

    Hi, bruno7.
    1. Have you tried "Mac OS: Apple Pro Keyboard Shortcuts for Shut Down and Restart"?
    2. What changes did you make to your Mac before this problem arose?
    3. Are you using FruitMenu? If so, check for updates, disable it, or uninstall it.
    4. After you next shut down, run the procedure specified in my "Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption" FAQ. Perform the steps therein in the order specified.
    5. An errant Startup or Login Item maybe the cause. My "Troubleshooting Startup and Login Items" FAQ can help you pin that down if such an item is causing the problem.
    6. If none of the above, when you attempt to select Shut Down or Restart from the Apple menu and nothing happens, immediately check the ends of these Console logs for clues.
    Good luck!

  • Cannot log out of yahoo mail comletely with firefox for the past two week or so

Recently I have been unable to log out of yahoo mail completely with firefox. I get the following error message: "The connection has timed out. The server at us.lrd.yahoo.com is taking too long to respond." I have more than one yahoo mail acct. and cannot log into a different acct until the first one is closed out completely. On the error message page there is "Try Again" button. This has occasionally helped but rarely.
I have tried opening FF in safe mode but this has not helped at all. I have used two other browsers to access my yahoo mail to see it the problem was with yahoo or FF. Both browsers repeatedly logged out of yahoo mail without a problem.

I don't think it's a Firefox issue. I switched to Chrome because the newest Yahoo Mail just doesn't work in Firefox, and Mozilla says its a Yahoo problem, which I believe. The email works great while I'm in Chrome, but I can't sign out without going to the Yahoo home page and using that sign out link. Conversely, I CAN sign out in Firefox (been flipping back & forth the past few days trying to figure it out). I just tried it in Internet Explorer and still can't sign out. I never had any Yahoo mail problems in any of these three browsers until the latest version of Yahoo mail came out, and now I just close the browser to sign out -- it's faster, for me anyway.

  • Cannot log out of gmail

My friend logged into her gmail account on my computer. But now there is no way to log out. I already closed and restarted the computer ( mac OX 10.4 ) but it still pops up and is open!
How or where an I access the logout??

If clicking the log-in button doesn't work, try this. I don't have a Mac, so the steps might be a bit different:
    # Open the Preferences window.
    # Go to Privacy
    # Click on "remove individual cookies". A window will appear.
    # Click on "Remove All Cookies"
This should cause Gmail to forget your friends session. However, this will mean that all of your sessions on other websites will be forgotten as well.
But it's good to delete cookies. They're not just used to remember your sessions on websites. Advertises also use them to track you to see what products you like.

  • Cannot log out of  iChat / Bonjour

Hi -- this is a rather strange problem: I use iChat to chat with other people through Bonjour. I have a status icon in my menu bar. I noticed recently that I was unable to sign out of Bonjour. I would disconnect through iChat and quit the application, but the status icon in the menu/status bar would still show all my nearby bonjour buddies and wouldn't let me sign off. This was a problem because people would IM me when I didn't want them to, and the only way to prevent it was to turn off my internet connection.
Foolishly, in an effort to eliminate this distraction for the time being I deleted iChat thinking that I could download it again for free from the apple website. Now I still am visible by bonjour buddies but when they try to chat me I get an error message saying that iChat needs my attention. I cannot log off through the status bar and I can still see other bonjour buddies.
    1. Is there any way I can reinstall iChat free of charge?
    2. How do I "log off" of bonjour chat?

Do the Easy Way and the COMBO Update listed nearer the bottom.
    2) Go to the iChat Menu > Accounts and Log Off the Bonjour entry.
    B) Go to the iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts and Disable the Bonjour one.

  • Cannot log out of an account

One of four user accounts on my iBook G4 (10.3.9) has recently developed a problem: when you try to log out, you get the endlessly spinning beach ball. The only way out is shutting down the computer with the power button. The other three accounts continue to behave normally.
Here is what I have tried:
    - making the account an administrator account, which didn't help;
    - running Disk Utility by booting the computer for the CD, which also didn't help (about a quarter of the way through, I receive the message "Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue").
I've looked through the forums and found nothing relevant. I would be grateful for your help.

You may have to use the keyboard combination command, shift apple Q to logout then force quit the Finder to finish the job. You shouldn't have to do this though.
If you have issues booting off the CD and then running Disk Utility, I would boot your iBook in Target mode on another laptop. (if you have access to one) Then from the other laptop run Disk Utility with repair disk and repair permissions. This may fix your issues. If not you may need to use DiskWarrior.
Another option is, you could backup the data from the problem account to another hard drive or machine, then delete the account. Next create a new account and import the data back manually.

  • EP7SP11: cannot log out EP normally

    We have a strange situation:
Our EP7SP11 users  click the "log out" on the upper-right corner , EP7 will
refresh the screen and return to the initial screen.
The only way for users to log out is to kill the browser session.
Do you have any way to fix this problem?
    Points guaranteed.Thanks!

    Hi,
This happens usually when popup blockers prevent display of the logoff confirmation iview.
Once the display was blocked it is too late for enabling the popups for your portal , and all you have to do is kill the browsing session.
Thus you should make sure you use an fqdn to log onto your portal and make sure it is recognized as an intranet or trusted site for all users.
Note: This is should be different if you are considering external facing portal...
    Hope it helps,
    Frank

  • Cannot log back into a disconnected RD session

I have a 2012 R2 domain server that I RD into frequently. None of the GPO's I have are effecting RD. I need to have the ability to disconnect a RD session and reconnect to the same session. It seems like after about 20min the disconnected session just disappears
and anything i had running in it closes. I have tried setting the local policies without luck. secpol > local policies > security options > Microsoft network server: Amount of idle time required before suspending session to 1440.
    gpedit.msc on local machine
    Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Session Time Limits\ all to disable
    User Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Session Time Limits\ all to disable
    Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Connections\Configure keep-alive connection interval to Disabled
Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Connections\Restrict Remote Desktop Services users to a single Remote Desktop Services session  to Enable
I have tried to add remote desktop services\remote desktop session host but it wants a license server and this is only on a local machine. How can i get the ability to log back into a disconnected RD session. Like we were able to do before 2012?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi,
The behavior could be caused by domain group policy settings, I would suggest you double check group policy settings by running command below:
