Cannot logout workspace

I deploy a process to Standalone 10g. Then, I open the workspace and login it. Then it just has the upper frame. I cannot logout after clicking the link of logout.
I unpublish that process and deploy it again. Then, I find the workspace is still blank. I still cannot logout.

Hi Ye,
Sure you tried this, but you might also stop and restart the engine. This will also stop and restart Tomcat.
Not sure what everyone else is finding, but I'm having to bounce the engine after publishing and deploying quite often in 10g.

  • Cannot load workspace

    Cannot load workspace 'typography', error:
Could not load the workspace “Typography” because the parser reported an error: Expected "xml_token_char_data_k", Found "xml_token_equals_k"
    Please advise.
    Thanks.

I am not sure I would expect the Flex form to work based upon the Flex Builder error you are reporting.
    First problem.
Is the process variable you have defined as 'form' been declared an 'input'?
How are you loading the .swf into the process? It the .swf in the LiveCycle resource repository?
    Second problem.
    What platform are you on?
Which version of Flex Builder are you using?
Which version of the Flex SDK are you using?
If you have not deployed the samples that ship with LiveCycle ES, I would recommend doing so. The samples include a process that use a Flex form for a mortgage application (Samples - LiveCycle ES > SampleMortgageLoan-Flex).
For JBoss on Windows, review the source code shipped in the LiveCycle ES SDK.
    C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8.2\LiveCycle_ES_SDK\samples\LiveCycleES\SimpleMortgageLoan-Flex

  • Gnome 2.22 cannot logout with Xming Xserver/Xwin32 Xserver

    Hi all.
I am currently using Xming/Xwin32 server under windows, and using XDMCP protocal login to my arch box.
after login, I cannot logout. after click logout, logout dialog freeze. no response.
I am not sure whose problem, so I login using xfce, it works. so it must be gnome's bug.
the same when I using x-win32 xserver.
    best regards.
    Qian

gnome does a fade-out when creating the logout box. This drawing operation is done using cairo. As cairo utilizes XRender, which is a buggy extension on many X servers (including older Xorg and XFree86 versions), I assume this is a bug in your X server triggered by a certain cairo operation.

  • Cannot remember workspace name and maybe password

    Hi everyone
I installed APEX back in November 2006 and was successfully able to create a workspace. Since then I have not been near it until today.
Now I cannot remember the name of the workspace that I used and I suspect I got my password lost too. Is there a way to find the name of the workspace that I created? I'm pretty sure I know the password so the first step would be gettig my workspace name.
    Any ideas?
    Best wishes
    Michael

    Hi Scott
I figured it out. I logged in as SYS then went to the FLOWS_020200 account and first of all looked in WWV_FLOW_COMPANIES. The SHORT_NAME seemed to be my workspace.
Then I looked in WWV_FLOW_FND_USER and saw a column called USER_NAME which rang a bell in my mind and said - that's the one.
So using those two items, I remembered that my password was APEX and I could log in - phew.
Thanks for all your help. Can I also ask - how easy would it be to upgrade to 3.0 from 2.2? Is there a manual for this?
    Best wishes
    Michael

  • Cannot Access Workspace

I am the admin on the workspace and had added a few users to the work spaces.
Their name appears in the "Manage Group" list but their name does not appear in the BOLAdmin group list. Not sure what the issue is.
Also a few other external users are getting errors (with internet exp 8 & firefox) - "System error- please re-try your action or contact admin........" or Internet explorer cannot display the workspace....
    Please advise.

    Hi,
The thing to remember with BeehiveOnline is the importance of the group in the provisioning process. Users gain access to the system via their group membership - they don't have individual logins so if you need to add them to a workspasce they have to be ina group with you so you can see them.
That said, you can see them if you have added them to the workspace - or was it the group - the conditions you mention are where the provisioning script had an issue, maybe the user account was locked, but the user was found to have a valid account. This would also explain the browser errors.
Send an email to [email protected] with the group, workspace amd email addresses affected and we will investigate - should be simple to fix, hopefully.

  • Created new workspace, user created OTN account but cannot access workspace

    hi,
i recently created GFW_SYSTEMS_TEAM beehiveonline workspace.
i added 4 external users including myself as an external user using my gmail account: [email protected] so i could verify the process from an external user point of view
i created my OTN account and verified it but cannot access the workspace using this login.
when i check the users in beehiveonline-apex i see that all users are verified.
when i check the users in the workspace, 2x external users are missing but my gmail user is there
when i check the ~BOLADMIN tool i see that my gmail user is missing - only my oracle account is visible; the other 2x external users are also missing...
my oracle and gmail email addresses are similar : neil.pritchard@~ oracle.com, gmail.com
i am accessing from my secondary oracle laptop (OBI); not on vpn
can you tell me if there are any known conflicts with the above setup?
    more info:
    OS: XP SP2; browser IE8
when accessing teamcollab or workspaces i get 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' during login authentication
    best regards

    Neil,
we spotted some provisioning scripts that had failed and are re-running them now - hoefully the extra users will be in the group/workspace soon. The 2 emails for you will not be a clash as they are valid and unique.

  • Cannot create Workspace in Oracle 10g 10.2.0.1

I get following error when trying to create new workspace on new or existing schema. HTMLDB is a new installation using the companion cd of Solaris 64bit 10.2.0.1.
ORA-20999: (DBCP) No privilege to alter or create TRIGGER BI_DEMO_USERS in WEBDEV by HTMLDB_PUBLIC_USER. (WEBDEV is an existing schema).
    Has anyone faced this problem?

The error seems clear to me. It is trying to find a non-existent file. Did you check what your file names are in the data file and if the related files exist?

  • I am unable to quit or launch Safari. (Quit Safari option is not highlighted in menu) I cannot logout without quitting Safari. Can anyone help?

    MacBook Pro  OS X 10.7.5; 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7; 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
I Cannot launch Safari or quit Safari. The Quit Safari option is not active or highlighted in the Safari menu. I tried to shut down and Log Out but cannot because Safari must close first. I have checked for software upgrades and there are none. What do I need to do to use Safari Or shut down Safari?

    Hey there KeelyBoley,
If you are still not able to quit Safari, or shutdown/restart your Mac, I would force quit the application with any of these instructions that work for you:
OS X: How to quit an unresponsive application using Force Quit
Choose Quit by right-clicking or control-clicking on an app's icon in the Dock.
If your app does not close using the steps above, use any of these steps to force the app to quit:
Switch to another app, such as the Finder, then choose Force Quit from the Apple menu. Select the unresponsive app in the Force Quit window, and click Force Quit.
Press Command-Option-Esc, then select the unresponsive app from the Force Quit window that appears, and click Force Quit.
If Safari continues to become unresponsive such as in this case, a 3rd party plug-in may be the culprit, and this article will help you troubleshoot that:
Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the best,
    Sterling

  • AFter updating Firefox, I can login to facebook but cannot open new messages and cannot logout from FAcebook

    HI,
Since upgrading from Firefox 10 to Firefox 15.0.1 I have problems with Facebook. I upgraded to Firefox 16.0.1 and still have the same problem (with Facebook).
    There are two problems.
    1. If you have a new message (for example), a small red square with a number - eg '1' or '2' appears in the top left hand corner. When I click on this/these squares, it will not open - there fore I am unable to see what the message is.
    2. I am unable to logout. When I click on the small arrow, instead of a box dropping down it takes me to account settings.
Even if I close the webpage, I am still logged in until I close Firefox. I have searched on google but can not find any help or answer to my problem.
I have tried the suggestion listed on Firefox, but nothing helps. I have cleared cache, cookies, history etc. and done all the things listed on Firefox, but still the problem persists.
I do not have this problem with Internet Explorer. I do not like Internet Explorer and have no wish to use it. Please help.
    Thank you.
    RedDragonfly

    Hi,
You can try to '''Clear Now''' the '''Cache''', '''Cookies''', and '''Site Preferences''' with '''Time range to clear''' set to '''Everything''' via '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Clear%20Recent%20History Clear Recent History].
If the problem persists, you can reset Firefox and start afresh.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
    #Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]] article.

    Hi,
Are you able to login to Shared Services, if so does everything look to be functioning correctly, like expanding projects, provisioning.
    Can you access :- http://<hss machine>:28080/interop/framework/getCSSConfigFile

  • Cannot Logout or Reboot:  Logout Times Out

Over the past few days I have been unable to reboot or log out in a "normal" fashion. Every time I try it quits all the apps, then sits for a minute, then informs me that logout timed out, because the application (fill in the blank) could not be quit.
The application in question changes. Sometimes it is iChat, sometimes Safari or something else. But those applications HAVE QUIT. They aren't running any more.
This last time I was able to get back to Finder and ran Activity Monitor, and the named application (it was Safari) was not running. There were no processes associated with Safari in the "All Processes" list.
Anyone know why applications that aren't running are stopping me from rebooting, and how to fix this? I have to manually power off the computer every time (holding down power button), and I know that can't be good for the machine!

I had the same problem AFTER an upgrade to my iMac G5.
The solution for me was to ensure my *ONE AND ONLY USER was actually an Admin*. It appears that the upgrade 'degraded' my user to Standard (common enough problem with upgrading to Leopard that the fix is a headliner on Apple Support page for Leopard install). So, I suspect that the issue that corrupted my user also caused the inability to log out, restart or shutdown.
    Steps to fix:
I followed instructions on updating my user to Admin again. See here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306876
*If your system is set up to ASK for login*, you should be fine with the instructions. HOWEVER, there was a problem with the solution, however.
+I had my system set up NOT to login, rather it goes direct to Desktop. So, I never had the chance to login as ROOT and set my user to Admin.+ So, I had this work around:
After a hard restart and boot into the Leopard install DVD, I followed the instrcutions to create a ROOT password. Very easy.
Then, I restarted and booted into the Leopard installation on the HD
Upon reaching the desktop, open System Preferences
    Click on Accounts
Click on LOCK to change status
Sign in as user ROOT (with newly created password)
Create new ADMIN account (call it whatever you want)
IMPORTANT: Update settings to allow for change of users from the top, right of screen (+this is important because it is what allows you to change users, since a LOG OUT does not work+)
    Change to new user
    Open Sys Prefs
    Click Accounts
Change my ORIGINAL user to Admin (might have to UNLOCK again)
    log out
log in as Original user (now admin)
    Go to sys prefs
    Click Accounts
    Delete other Admin user
After all of this, everything was normal.

  • Cannot logout W2K wo stopping web server?

I am running iws 6.0 on W2K. When I logout of the server the web service stops. I have tried different stop and start service scenarios to fix this to no avail. Any ideas?

    Try the following steps:
    1. Stop the WS instance.
    2. Go to the \web-server-root\https-server-instance\config directory and edit the jvm12.conf file.
    3. Uncomment the "#jvm.option=-Xrs" line and save your changes. i.e.
    Before change:      #jvm.option=-Xrs
    After change:      jvm.option=-Xrs
    4. Restart the WS server instance.
Let us know how it goes.
