Cannot make a readable .pdf Separation (Screen Printing) Please Help

I am unable to save .pdf versions of color separations. I followed the tutorials (changed all colors to cmyk or spot colors, selected the printer adobe post script, changed the output to Separations (host-based), desected the colors I didn't want on the separations), but something goes wrong when I save. When I click save, I am given no option to save the separation as a .pdf. The program seems to be unable to save the separation as any sort of readable file. In the drop down box where it should provide a .pdf option, it merely says "All Files." If I save my separation using this option, then Illustrator creates a file unreadable by Acrobat Reader. Does anyone know what is awry?

In Acrobat Pro, open the pdf - print production - output preview - select the spot colour/separation go to top menu - select 'save as pdf'.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then see if this user tip helps you get the questions reset :https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

PDF will not print please help

I am using Win7 64, updated print driver, updated Adobe. When I try to print a pdf document it will not print unless I restart my computer for each document. I can print Word documents but not pdfs.

Please follow the workaround available at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/949886?tstart=30 in order to resolve this issue.

Hi Frans van Meeuwen,
Do I understand correctly that you have a printed PDF and want to get it back on your computer as a PDF file? If so, you could scan that document, save it as an image file, then use Acrobat or Adobe PDF Pack to convert the scanned file to PDF. Some scanning software saves directly to PDF, and if you don't have a scanner, I'm sure you could have it done at a local copy shop.

One of the user printed wrong information on a check.She wants to void that check and reprint a new one.The information also came on next check,But the information of second check is not the check lot ,I mean in the system,where as first check information is in the check lot.Which T. codes do we use and how do i deal with second check..Do i need to do anything in FCHI(make changes to next available check number).Please help me as she needs it immediately.

hi first check in FCHI - as to what your range is. post your range here. Then go to FCh1 and view the check info. maybe you have the test out put checked so the first check is voiding automatically. Aslo check in FCHN

A Restore first downloads a new copy of iOS to your computer. On a slow Internet connection this can take a long time. How fast is your connection? How long would you expect it to take to download 900 MB?
That's assuming nothing is interfering with the download. Some firewalls and antivirus programs will block the download or slow it down. So you should temporarily disable your security software. Security software can also block the update after the iOS download is complete.

I just gave my daughter my 8 year old daughter my shuffle and i created a new playlist on itunes 10. I transfered it over and it was great. I upgraded the iTunes software to 11.0 and made changes to her kid friendly playlist on MacBook and deleted the playlist on the shuffle and wen to transfer and I could not transfer. Are the PDFs and ibooks on your computer's iTunes ? If so then you should be able to re-sync them, if not then you can re-download ibooks for free as long as they are still available in the store and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . The backup doesn't contain the contents of the ibooks app, so for them to be restored to the device they needed to be in your iTunes library.

Have you tried the resize button in the window corner upper right. There are 3 buttons one closes the window one minimizes it without closes it and the other one toggles between full screen and a smaller screen. Click the last one and see what happens.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on anoterh computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.

Try enabling the Personal Hotspot on the iPhone and connecting the Mac to the Internet thru it. If Facebook works ok then, that would mean the ISP is either blocking or having connection problems whereas the phone carrier is not.
Be mindful that carrier data charges can be outrageous so use this as a test first.
