Cannot make calls since ios 7 update

After updating my iPhone to iOs 7 I am unable to make or receive calls. I can hear the person on the other line but they can't hear me. Have spent hours now backing up and restoring. Still does not work. Volume works on everything else except calls

Settings > Messages > Send and Receive From
Make sure your phone number is selected.

I have the problem of calls getting failed.. Black Iphone 4S 16gb IOS 6.1.3. O2 Network. Airtel India. I have full bars of signal but cannot make calls. Goes to "No service" then to "searching". I constantly get "Call Failed" when making calls.

Try settings/general/reset/reset network settings. If that does not do it then contact your carrier

As peter says, this is evidence that your phone was previously hacked and was re-locked by the upgrade.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can unlock it. There is nothing else we can suggest.

Has anyone maxed out their storage since iOS 7 update forces download of all email? I'm on my way to that end. I will have to delete my email accounts. Apple told me to do so and just use the providers' apps instead of iPhone accounts. This pretty much renders my smartphone useless. Not to mention I no longer like using my phone since this awful update. Not as intuitive or fun!

Hi I was having 800 mins India 30 Days subscription, I was expiring on in may mid, as the time exhausted, I renewed it using your skype process (which comes after call failed). I sent me email for delivery but, I cannot make calls yet. Already the purchase hsitory says subscription (India 800 mins 1 month) is purchased, but

The Subscription on mage pages says 0 mins, Please advise.

ok finally got the problem solved. Hopefully this will help other people experiencing this problem.
First, go Settings, then select Phone. Under "My number" it should say your current number. If it doesn't (as it didn't in my case) call sprint (dial *2 on your phone). Tell the sprint agent you would like your Name assigned to your number.
In my case, I had been added to an existing family plan. I was assigned a random new cell phone number, but then later changed it to my old existing phone number from AT&T. So if you are like me and brought your old cell phone number with you when you switched to Sprint, then this may be the issue.
When I was experiencing the problem with my pictures not sending, the wrong phone number was showing as my number on the phone (even though people could call and text me using my current number).

When iPhone is on Cellular data and WiFi, i cannot make calls and phone goes out of service.

So I have this iPhone 5S unlocked version from the US which I am using in India. When I am connected to my office wireless and also the cellular & 3G data are switched on, my phone goes out of service and I cannot make calls. I can also use internet.
However this works great when I get onto my home WiFi along with cellular & 3G data switched on, I can make calls and also surf the net with the WiFi.
Is anyone having similar issue? I am sure there is something with the office WiFi but what could it be to get my phone out of service.
Any thoughts anybody ?

Yes I shutdown WiFi and I can connect to 3G on Cellular. I can make calls.
If I shutdown Cellular and connect WiFi. I can make calls.
Its just that when both are ON, then no calls can be made.
All combinations work good with Home WiFi.
