Cannot mark text properly

Contribute CS4
I'm having this problems with a couple of sites I've created and it also occures in Contribute, which is a problme as my customers are supposed to edit their sites with Contribute and it is very annoying like this. The curser marks the letters missplaced. In the code view it is okay, in the layout view it goes wrong. I had the feeling it has to do with the doc-type, but I'm not sure. I'm having the problem with this site for example: http://www.in2english.ch.

The problem seems to depend on the Website, as it occures in Contribute and
Dreamweaver, on PC and MAC. But now I have a ney website, it does not work
on my Mac on Dreamweaver and Contribute but it is okay an PC with Contribute
CS5.

I cannot edit text in a PDF created from scanning

I am using Adobe XI, and I have created a PDF by scanning a document.
When I do click on a paragraph to edit text, all the page appears selected, it seems to be an image. At that moment a message pops up saying: this page has not editable text or digitalized content. The editing tools are disabled, so I cannot edit text.
If I do export a page to Excel or Word, I can edit text there, although there are some kind of data that is not converted properly (even when I have executed OCR).
I have edited preferences, but I am not sure if I did it correctly.

I digitalized the document from the scanner. This scanner is installed in the net, so I personalized the settings in Acrobat and I chose memory mode instead of native mode.
Mode color: black on white
Resolution: 600 ppp
As you say in your mail, I understand I should choose ClearScan OCR not searchable just at this moment.
Well, and what about the options of optimization?, JBIG2 (without lost)?, 4 CCITT?
And filters?, I have: activated, low, activated, medium
Are these values congruous or compatible?

[Application Update Error] - The element 'Field' in namespace 'urn:deployment-manifest-schema' cannot contain text.

Hello,
I developed a custom SharePoint 2013 Application (SharePoint hosted) and everything works fine. If I tried to update the application and I ran into the following error:
The element 'Field' in namespace 'urn:deployment-manifest-schema' cannot contain text. List
of possible elements expected: any element in namespace '##any'.
If I redeploy the application (without update, just a new instance) everything works fine. Only the update scenario throws the exception above.
I tried different things to solve that issue:
I recreated the feature
I checked all the custom field definitions, content types and lists inside the app.
I tried different O365 tenants and a SharePoint 2013 On Premise Development Server (Same problem on all systems)
Can anybody give me a tip to solve that problem?

Hi,
According to your description, when you try to update your SharePoint Hosted App, an error occurs.
To narrow down the issue, I would suggest you create a simple app without other components in it, deploy it and then update it to see if this error will still occur.
Once you get a workable app without the update issue, then you can add other customizations one after one in this app and perform the update. By doing this, it would
be easier to find out the root cause.

People cannot hear me properly

Im having issues with my iphone 5 where by i can hear people perfectly well but after a couple of minutes conversation they cannot hear me properly, they miss out on words and sounds stuttery. Not sure if its related but only the left headhphone will work now too, i have tried another set and get the same problem

First, make sure your mic isn't full of pocket lint. It's right below the "k" in BlackBerry on the front of the device.
Then go to the Help app. At the bottom go to Testing. You can do different diagnostic tests in there and one of them is the mic. Does the test pass for the mic?

Cannot receive text messages and visual voicemail isn't working

Ok so I've searched but cannot find anything on my first problem. I cannot recieve text messages from people through normal SMS but rather only through iMessage. I keep getting a message saying my sms inbox is full and that I need to delete some messages first. I only get the messages after turning my phone off and then turning it back on. Any ideas on how to fix this or if there are any solutions online somewhere that I missed.
Also, the second thing is my visual voicemail isn't working anymore and now it's acting like an old voicemail where I have to call and listen to messages. Any ideas on that issue?
Any help is greatly appreciated and sorry in advance if either of these questions were asked and I was to blind to see them. Thanks

Turning it off and on a few times will do nothing. What you need to do is remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it a few seconds after that. Your phone MUST be powered on when you remove the battery.

The first thing you should do is contact your carrier and make sure that your account is properly provisioned to send text messages.

Cannot recieve text SMS from AT&T

I have a 5s, and I'm brand new to Verizon. I cannot receive "text" messages from anyone on AT&T. iMessage works just fine. Has anyone had this problem and how can it be fixed?

When you say "brand new" to Verizon, do you mean you recently ported your number from another carrier? It can sometimes take a few days for the number and services to fully integrate and work properly.
You can try removing and reinserting the SIM to see if it reconnecting to the network speeds things along.
You can also call customer service (*611 from your phone, or 800-922-0204 from any phone) and have them check the SMS message provisioning for your line to ensure it is set up properly. Is everything else working (voicemail? MMS? Internet? Calls?)

After installed Lion, cannot type text "TM"

Ever since upgraded to Lion, on Outlook email, I cannot type text "TM", everytime I key in TM, the font AUTO becomes smaller font and TM appears like Trade Mark font.

WMV is a heavily-compressed format/CODEC, and the processing time will depend on several factors:
Your CPU, which is not that powerful in your case
Your I/O sub-system, which is likely a single HDD on your laptop
The source footage. What is your source footage?
Any Effects added to that footage. Do you have any Effects?
Each of those will have an impact on the time required.
The trial has only one main limitation - the watermark. Now, there are some components, that have to be activated, but are not with the trial, but they would be evident with Import of your source footage, if it's an issue.

Replacing marker text for sevral markers in one shot.

I can't change marker text (such as an index entry) by using the Find/Change dialog box. If FrameMaker finds the marker text I specify, and if I type different text in the Change text box and click Change, FrameMaker replaces the marker--not the marker text--with the text in the Change text box.
To change marker text, i use the Special > Marker command
I have loads of marker spread over several documents. It is not practical to change each and every marker text manually.
Basically i have marker with marker text in the format "gotolink xyz.pdf:abc". I would like to replace the marker text to "gotolink xyz.fm:abc".
The marker text varies for different markers but the bottom line is replacing pdf to fm.
Please help me as early as possible.

Damodar, The fastest way would be to do the search & replace in the MIF files using a text editor (such as UltraEdit or TextPad) or a regular expression tool such as grep or Funduc's Search&Replace. You would look for the statement: <MText `gotolink xyz.pdf:abc'> and replace appropriately. To batch convert all of the files in a book to MIF, you could use the trial version of mif2go available from Omni Systems at http://www.omsys.com

If you did not erase your apps and data before getting rid of your old phone, try using Find My Phone and erasing everything remotely. See if this works.

Find My iPhone has nothing to do with receiving or not receiving text messages.
What you should have done is turn off iMessage prior to handing over the device.
